I woke up for dinner. Tesla was so sweet. I got dressed and walked down the usual way, on Tesla's back with Whyk smelling his hair. I laughed as we walked out to the patio. Tesla chuckled. I slid down and into my seat.

"Announcement. We are getting warriors together for a job. I need twenty to be safe. Mars and Whyk will join us." Tesla watched everyone volunteer. "I love you all. Thanks. I'm putting up a sign up sheet. You know the drill. Let's eat." Tesla took a bite and the feast began and I was starving. In my normal fashion, I didn't come up for air.

Alabama was the first to sign the sheet as I walked by. I smiled. "Alabama..." I smiled at him.

Adair and Aden were second and third. "For you, Mars..." Adair stated. "We will fight." He said in his thick Russian accent.

Aden chuckled. "We love to fight too!" He winked at me. I knew they would have signed up if this wasn't about me. I just chuckled.

Hope walked up and hugged me. "Mars, how are you tonight? How are you really doing?" Her brown eyes bore into mine.

I knew she actually cared. "I'm better actually. I spent the day with Tesla, Barric and Whyk. It was nice and I took a long nap and the food was delicious. How are you?"

Hope smiled her sweet smile. "I'm good. I was worried about you. I knew it was for no reason of course. I knew that our alpha would take care of you."

I nodded. "Of course. He's amazing. I'm afraid he didn't get anything else done but he was perfect."

Hope smiled at me. "Of course. Mars, it wasn't tough for him to choose you over work. You're his life."

I smiled like I won the lottery. "I know!" I was so in love. I cleared my throat. "I don't want everyone risking their lives for me, Hope."

Hope smiled sweeter. "For you, our Sol...we will all risk our lives and don't feel guilty. It's what we do for love, Mars."

I was stunned into silence after that. All of the people that signed that sheet loved me and I was humbled because of it.
