~Emma's pov

I hugged Red one more time before turning to Silver and hugged him. I then turned swiftly to Reshiram who still looked battle ready.

You ready?

"Of course."

I ran to Reshiram, my foolproof plan still fresh in my mind. Rather than play in the defence like last time, this time I was going to be all offence and I had a secret weapon.

I nodded to her and climbed onto her back, briefly stopping to smile and nod at every one before signalling to Reshiram to take flight.

"Time to whoop some asses!"

Is this the same Emma I was talking to five minutes ago?

"Yes, yes this is."

Right... well where did this confidence come from?

"China."

"Oh shut up!"

"Didn't expect to see you again any time soon my dear." Shadow smirked.

"Well I came back just to whoop your ass so let's get this party started!" I smirked back. Wow... I haven't felt this confident in a long time.

"This time I'm going to make sure you stay dead! Kyreum, Glaciate!" N called.

"Right, Reshiram you know what to do." I said, patting the white dragons neck.

She nodded and flapped her wings making her fly even higher in the air.

"I'm ready when you are."

Wait...

...

...

K, I'm ready.

"Now Blue flare!" I shouted.

Reshiram screeched and formed a large blue fire ball above her head. This was Reshiram's most powerful move and I had another trick up my sleeve.

As if in queue a bright, creamy-white light shot down from the storm clouds like lightning striking a tree in a storm, fusing itself with Reshiram's attack.

Let's hope this works.

"Now!" I shouted.

Reshiram shot the attack at N and Kyreum. As it flew it grew brighter and larger, the front of it taking the form of a Ninetales made from fire that was charging into battle it's paws outstretched and eyes gleaming, its head thrown back into a silent howl. Every detail was perfect, the fire even looked like fur blown back in the wind.

N didn't even have time to doge or call out a counter as the attack slammed into Kyreum, sending both spiralling into the sand. I turned my back to them, they were no longer a thret.

Smirking at Shadow who looked impressed. "I'm taking that was the Night Voice's doing."

"Yup, you catch on fast." I smirked back. Night, although couldn't come back she could power up Reshiram's attack. Two beings if light verse two beings of dark. It was fare.

He nodded. "Do you know why I made her in the first place?"

Is he going to start monologuing?

"Uh... to take over my body and make you in charge of the purest thing in existence? Wasn't that why you kidnapped me last year?" I asked, wondering where this conversation was going.

"Part of it, but another part was for this very prophecy. You see, if I had my own minion to sacrifice then this whole battle would have been made easier."

Yup, he's gonna monologue.

"Well this minion says, you're plan backfired."

Reshiram shot out another Blue flare attack, hesitating just long enough for another beam of light to fuse itself with the fire.

Shadow saw this coming and ordered Zekrom to use protect and the attack bounced off harmlessly.

"Well played, now let's settle this my dear."

"Thought you'd never ask."

Reshiram flew in closer, slashing Shadow with a Dragon claw. Zekrom countered with his own making Reshiram fall back a bit.

"Don't give in Reshiram. We can do this." I encouraged her.

She nodded and her eyes turned pink as she nailed Zekrom with an Extrasensory.

Zekrom flinched but shook off the attack and shot out a Thunder-bolt.

Reshiram screeched but flew out of the way and shot out a Flamethrower which missed Zekrom by a hairs breath.

I gritted my teeth in annoyance, unlike with N my fire attack wouldn't be very effective and his electric attack were not very affective either making this an even battle.

Maybe we should try Blue flare again.

"But Shadow would just use protect."

Well why don't you trick him, make him use protect and then you use Blue flare, he can't counter then.

"I'll give it a go."

That's the spirt.

I signalled Reshiram to fly into the clouds, making us disappear from Shadows sight.

"When I say use Blue flare, use Flamethrower instead." I whispered.

Reshiram nodded

"Blue flare!" I called and as expected Shadow ordered Protect.

Reshiram descended from the clouds, now hiding behind Zekrom and shot out a Flamethrower that bounce away harmlessly.

The protect faded and I called for Reshiram to use Blue flare for real.

Reshiram repeated her previous two moves and Night powered it up. Reshiram shot the attack at Zekrom, hitting him from behind sending him flying towards Undella town.

"Reshiram, move! Protect the town!" I shouted without thinking.

Without hesitating Reshiram let out a screech and folded in her wings, speeding like a bullet to get to the town before the falling Zekrom did.

Reshiram overtook Zekrom and flew in front of him, using fusion flare to change Zekrom course making him crash into the beach instead.

I sighed with relief when nether Zekrom or Kyreum took flight.

The battle was over.

I signalled for Reshiram to land and I hopped to the ground. Reshiram smiled and nuzzled my shoulder.

~Good work, Voice of Purity. I am honoured to have fought by your side.~ Reshiram smiled and nodded her head. This was the first time she had actually spoke to me.

I smiled and do a small bow. "And I to you."

"Emma!"

I turned around to see my friends and Pokemon racing to me.

Red reached me first. He picked me up and twirled me making me giggle.

He put me down and hugged me. "I knew you could do it."

I smiled and hugged him back, burying my head into his shoulder.

"YOU WORTHLESS CHILD!!!" For a second I thought someone was shouting at me but I turned to see a man shouting at N with Kyreum watching blankly as if he didn't know what to do since his duty to N was over.

I'd only seen this man a few times but knew him as Ghetsis.

I sighed. "Excuse me guys I have something I need to take care of." I told my friends before walking over to Ghetsis and N.

I saw Ghetsis slap N to the ground and kick him in the ribs. For the first time that I had ever seen, N looked scared and although I felt he deserved it, this wasn't right. I more than anyone would know.

I tapped Ghetsis on the shoulder and he turned around. I slapped him across the face, hard!

"Child abuse is not cool and if I find that you ever hurt another child, you will have hell to pay." I glared an turned to N. "This does not mean anything between us." With that I turned back to my bewildered friends.

"Well that's that then." Silver smiled, thinking this was over.

If only he knew.
