~Emma's pov

It had been a few hours since N left and I couldn't stay still. My nerves were way to jumpy for that. Silver and Rioyaru were whispering to themselves quietly while I was pacing back and forth so many times I'd lost count. I kept in tugging at my hair nervously, somehow trying to convince myself that this want happening and that everything would be fine.

Eventually I became to tired to keep on walking so I sat next to Rioyaru, nervously twiddling my thumbs.

I felt Silver sit next to me but didn't look up. I guess I'd somehow convinced myself that I'd be saved before anything happened but with each passing second it seemed less and less likely that that it would happen.

Rioyaru nuzzled my shoulder affectionately, sensing my uneasiness.

Footsteps broke the silence and Silver shuffled closer to me, wrapping an arm protectively around my shoulder.

The door swung open to reveal three grunts, a Lipard, a Krokarok and a Muk.

I glared at them and Rioyaru growled.

"Lord N wishes to see you now princess." One of the grunts said.

I crossed my arms. "Do. Not. Call. Me. Princess." I told them sternly, gritting my teeth in annoyance.

The grunt who had spoken looked uneasy. "Yes, sorry mam."

I face palmed. Why these grunts treat their prisoner like royalty is beyond me well besides to cell part... and every other part apart from what they call me. Still, it's annoying.

"Lord N would like to see you." The second grunt said.

Didn't the first guy just say that?

I didn't know wether it would be smarter to stay with Silver or go with them to N. I felt safer with Silver but really didn't want to piss N off since my life was practically up to him.

Which meant I was in trouble...

Why we had to walk the rest of the way up Reversal mountain was beyond me but who's ever idea it was it was a stupid one.

Rioyaru was walking silently by my side and Silver, slightly behind with a grunt holding a gun behind him. I wasn't sure if the grunt would shoot if I stepped out of line but I didn't want to risk it.

I looked up and saw a large archway carved in to the stone. It reached several meters up, large enough for a large lets say... dragon type Pokemon to freely fly in and out. We walked through the arch and into a large room. The back was open, showing the stormy grey clouds thundering around the sky. A stormy fresh gust of air swept through the room.

I'd almost forgotten what fresh air felt like... almost.

The room's walls were lined with interlocking stones of different shapes and sizes. Along one wall was what looked like a story carves in the rock. But it had long ago faded. In the centre of the room was three pedestals and not so surprisingly, Shadow.

"Took you long enough my dear." He smirked at me. "You look nice by the way."

"Shut the hell up before I blow you through a wall." I glared through the grit of my teeth.

I saw that on top of the pedestal was the dark stone. An erie aura radiating from it. Something in the room made me feel edgy and the aura radiating from the dark and grey stones was almost to much for me to bare. I almost passed out on the way here because of the grey stone N was carrying along with the light stone he'd somehow got a hold on.

It became to much and I fell to my hands and knees, panting. Rioyaru nudged my shoulder.

~Are you alright Emma?~ She asked worriedly.

I shook my head and looked up at her. "I-It's just..." I broke off.

N walked over to me. "Get up." He hissed.

I glared up at him. Why weren't the stones having any affect on him or Shadow? Maybe its because I was the only one who could activate them.

N ordered the grunts to wait at the back of the room, including the one guarding Silver.

With Rio's help I stood up, holding on tightly to her mane.

N walked up to the two other pedestals, placing the grey stone in the middle and the light stone on the right.

N turned and smirked at me. "You know what to do."

I hesitantly stepped forward, standing in front of the light stone. All eyes were on me and I couldn't stop myself from shaking.

It was finally time.

~3rd person

Emma stood in front of the light stone, the very world around her seeming to hold its breath. She tightened her grip on Rioyaru, fighting the wave of nausea that coursed thickly through her body.

N was smirking victoriously while Shadow was looking impatient. Cyrus who had tagged along was watching Emma emotionless, wondering what to think about this whole endeavour. Silver was constantly eyeing the grunt with the gun and looking around, still trying to think of a way to save his little sister and hoping that at some point a rescue party would show up. Emma had long ago given up on that hope.

In reality a rescue party was on its way. Night was leading Hope, Trust and Celeana up Reversal mountain at a blinding pace since she felt Emma's pain and distress, praying that she would hold on just a little longer.

But N had grown impatient and glared at Emma telling her to activate the stones now.

N had detailedly explained what Emma had to do back at the base so she knew what to do and hesitantly brought her right hand up and placed it on the light stone. N and Shadow doing the same. Emma kept her left hand firmly holding onto Rioyaru she closed her eyes and took a deep breath in.

Riou Rei Croa Riou Ze Rei Ze Rei

The dark stone floated from its place an electrifying aura filling the air.

Va Neu Va Rei Va Neu Va Ze Rei

The light stone floated from its place a blazing aura adding to the air

Croa Riou Croa Neu Tue Rei Croa Riou Ze Rei Va

Tears fell from Emma's eyes and the grey stone floating from its own spot adding an icy aura to the air.

Tue Rei Ze Croa Riou Tue Ze

The three stones rose higher, spinning rapidly. The dark stone shot out lightning bolts, the grey stone shooting out rays of ice and the light stone shooting out fire.

The shrine was being destroyed by the chaos, the roof caving in. Everyone was shouting and running about.

Silver shouting for Emma, Emma shouting for Silver. Grunts running about frantically trying to find some where safe. Everyone had lost sight of the three voices. Most fearing the worst.

Silver had made it the the edge of the room still calling for Emma who had stopped responding.

The rocks eventually stopped falling and the dust settled.

Shadow stood with his Missmagias who was using Protect on her trainer.

N stood with his Carracosta who was using Protect on his own trainer.

But since Rioyaru didn't know Protect most would fear the worst, that is if a certain creamy fire type Pokemon didn't show up at precisely the right moment to save her trainer.

Emma had her arms wrapped tightly around Night who had made it just in time to use Protect on Emma and Rioyaru saving both of them.

Silver breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that Emma was fine. Everyone in the room changed their glance from the the voices to three new forms, three giant dragon Pokemon who were each watching the person closest to them.

Reshiram was watching Emma with a calm and caring look on her face. Zekrom was looking at Shadow looking impressed and Kyreum was looking at N with a cruel smirk.

Emma looked at the three dragons in fear, N in victory and Shadow in awe.

At the next moment everyone else arrived. Faith, Melody, Red and all Emma's other Pokemon and friends.

"Took you long enough." Night smirked at Faith.

~Shut up.~ Was her only reply.

N was the first to move, running up to Kyreum and jumping on his back, ordering him to take flight. Shadow was next to do the same.

Emma didn't know what to do. She knew she had to go up there but didn't want to. Silver ran to her side as did the rest if her friends.

Emma walked to Reshiram's side, the fire dragon bowing her head in respect.

Silver caught Emma's hand before she could mount. "You don't need to go up there." He said trying to stop her.

Emma shook her head. "No, I do."

"But... Why you?"

Emma gave a small smile. "Because its what I need to do. What I was destined to do. It was written long ago and cannot be changed. That's why I need to."

Silver looked into Emma eyes for a moment. Both quiet.

Silver let Emma go. "Please be carful up there. I don't want to loose you."

Emma nodded. "I will... but promise me Silver. If anything happens to me, promise me that you will take care of all my Pokemon. Keep them together, they are a family and need each other."

Silver hesitated but nodded. "Promise."

Emma's eyes teared up as she threw her arms around her older brothers neck. "Thank you." She whispered into his ear before she let go and mounted Reshiram, ordering her to take flight and join N and Shadow in the sky.
