>Emma's pov<

~Are you asleep yet?~ Rio yawned, resulting in me shaking my head.

She sighed but didn't push it knowing that it would probably start a fight or something... Probably a fight knowing me and my stubborn temper ...

I shivered a little, feeling like I had ice running through my vains despite the fact that I was right in front of a fire and snuggled in my Pokemon's fur. I didn't know why but lately I've been having weird moments where I would suddenly feel really cold. Like, really really cold.

'When had they started...?' I asked myself.

I replayed the past few weeks and could only think of one thing that could of started them.

'When I was captured by the 'mad scientists' and experimented on.' A small shiver ran down my back at the memory but I hid it so Rioyaru didn't get suspicious.

I recall a few of the the needles making me feel like my temperature dropped and was hit by a lot of ice-type attacks so most likely that had something to do with the fact that I was freezing my butt off even with a fire going nearby and a fire type wrapped around me like a very fluffy blanket.

~You alright Emma?~ Rio asked clearly worried.

I debated whether I should tell her or not. I decided I should incase it got worse, then someone would know and be able to somewhat help.

"Promise not to tell Silver?" I asked knowing that he wouldn't be able to do anything but stress about it.

Rioyaru raised an eyebrow. ~Unless it becomes a life-threatening thing, I won't tell Silver.~ She promised.

I sighed and told her about how I'd been feeling and about the 'mad scientists' sticking the needles that made my temperature drop into my blood and the ice attacks and anything that could have affected my lower temperature. Rioyaru just watched me with an upset face.

~So that's why you've been shivering so much even though it's not that cold...~

I nodded. "It's been getting worse and I don't know what to do." I snuggled into my Pokemon and shivered a bit more.

Rioyaru sighed and was quiet. ~Maybe you should tell Silver...~ She said in a hushed tone.

"But what can he do about it?" I replied sadly. "There's no use worrying him when there's nothing he can do."

Rioyaru was quiet again. ~I don't know.~ I wrapped my arms around her neck and she nuzzled my shoulder. ~But I swear none of those... those... monsters would want to meet me in a dark ally.~ She growled threateningly.

I nodded. "Rio?"

~Yeah?~

"I-I'm scared." I said in a below whisper voice. "I don't know what to do anymore."

Rioyaru gave me a caring look and nuzzled my cheek, wiping away a tear I didn't know was falling. ~Well I'm here for you,~ She gave me a caring smile. ~and I always will be.~

>Silver's pov<

I swear I followed Riakou all night and we didn't get anywhere. Turns out Wind dancer stole Emma's new X-transceiver while she wasn't looking so I couldn't even call her to see if she was alright. What was the point of buying her the thing if her Pokémon were going to steal it.

Windy was flying over head keeping a look out for anyone as well as trying to avoid me killing her for stealing Emma's X-transceiver... Now I see why Emma calls me 'over protective'...

I sighed and looked at the rising sun. I couldn't help but worry for her since I'd first figured out she was my sister back in Sinnoh. I just didn't want to loose her again.

I fluttering noise from next to me snapped me from my thoughts and I looked up to see Wind dancer landing next to me.

~Hello.~ She chirped as she padded along next to me.

"I thought you were keeping watch." I frowned, not being able to understand why she was so cheery when her trainer was missing and possibly hurt.

She shrugged. ~My wings were getting sore. It takes a lot to fly all night. Besides, I saw Emma from up there.~ She pointed her wing to the sky. ~She's in a cave with Rioyaru.~ She let out a yawn. ~And we should find the cave riiiiiigghht... now.~ She said that a cave came into view.

A small fire was lit inside the cave and I could see the shape of a large Pokemon inside. I soon recognised her as Rioyaru, just like Windy said and I saw Emma snuggled into her fur. The two seemed to be talking and hadn't noticed me. So I returned Riakuo and decided to eves drop.

~Maybe you should tell Silver...~ Rioyaru said quietly.

"But what can he do about it?" Emma replied in a saddened tone. "There's no use worrying him when there's nothing he can do."

What were they talking about?

~I don't know.~ Rioyaru replied after a minute as Emma wrapped her arms around her neck and Riouaru nuzzled her shoulder. ~But I swear none of those... those... monsters would want to meet me in a dark ally.~ She growled threateningly.

Who? What monsters?

"Rio?" Emma said after she'd nodded.

~Yeah?~

I could barley make out what she said, but I think she said that she was scared or something.

Rioyaru gave her a caring look and nuzzled her cheek. ~Well I'm here for you, and I always will be.~

Emma nodded and snuggled into her Pokemon as I walked in. Both Emma and Rioyaru looked up as they heard my footsteps. Emma looked slightly afraid until she saw it was me.

"Silver." She said sounding quite happy to see me. She gave a small chuckle. "You've got snow in your hair."

I rolled my eyes. "I was walking through the snow."

Emma let out a small giggle. "Whatever you say, Snowflake."

I rolled my eyes and smiled a little and squatted by her side. "So are you alright?"

Emma nodded and patted Rioyaru's shoulder. "Thanks to Rio here. If it weren't for her then I would of drowned." She gave an awkward smile. "But I'm fine now... hehe..."

I sighed. "I swear, you're gonna be the death of me one day."

Emma sat up a but more. "Well considering my current predicament..." She gave a small chuckle at the somewhat irony of what I said.

I shook my head and pulled out my sleeping bag. I laid it on the ground close to Emma and watched as she snuggled down in Rioyaru's fur.

"Night Snowflake." She said before closing her eyes.

"Night Em." I said shaking my head and slipping into my sleeping bag.

Hello! Sorry this took so long. I was having a problem with my friend and having been sleeping properly because she was threatening to commit self harm and stuff. But thankfully she's better now. *sighs with relief*
