>Silver's Pov

"So you thought you saw Guardian and you just chased after her thinking that she would lead you to Emma?" I asked Red with my eyebrow raised.

"Err... yeah?" He asked not sending so sure.

The others seemed fine with it, but I wasn't so sure. I had a feeling he was lying. But I had no proof of it so there wasn't any reason to point fingers.

"Hey guys, its getting late. Do you think we should set up camp here?"

"Yeah. Red and I will go collect fire wood." I volunteered and dragged him off before anyone could protest.

Once we were a reasonable distance away I turned to face Red and crossed my arms. "I don't believe that for a second. What really happened?" I asked.

"Nothing. I lost sight of Guardian and made my way back." He shrugged.

I glared at him. "Not buying it. Tell me what happened?"

"I told you, I saw Guardian and I followed her. End of story."

I tapped my foot impatiently. "You do realise that Emma is a twice as good if a lier and I can tell when she lies, right?"

"Umm..."

"So tell me, what did you see!?" I half yelled making Red flinch.

"Guys? What's going on?" Destiny asked as she approached us with the others.

"Nothing, we were just talking." Red said a little to quickly.

"So are you going to collect fire wood or what?" Destiny crossed her arms.

Before I had a chance to answer I was knocked over by what looked like a person on a Pokemon. I picked my self up off the floor and looked over at what knock me over, a familiar brunette who was clutching her rib cage.

"Crapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcracrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrap! THAT HURTS!" She yelled as Twilight was back by her side.

~Emma come on we need to go!~ Twilight yelled nudging her shoulder.

Emma stood up and looked over at us. Her eyes widened and she opened and closed her mouth a few times trying to find what to say. None of us moved.

The was a small explosion not to far away and Emma turned her head to look at it, then took a step back. "I have to go." She said sadly and jumped back on Twilight's back, still clutching her side.

"Emma wait..." Red called back.

Emma stopped Twilight and looked back at us. "Meet me back here tonight." Then her expression changed to a pleading one. "Please, if anyone asks tell them you didn't see me." With that Emma and Twilight disappeared into the forest leaving us standing there completely shocked.

>Emma's Pov<

I jumped off Twilight to let her rest and walked over to the small lake the was in my cave.

Aquarina poked her head above the surface as I splashed the cool water over my face, washing away the dirt and dried blood and trying to untangle twigs from my hair.

"Please tell me that didn't just happen?" I looked over at Twilight who was next to me taking long gulps of the water.

~Nope it did.~

Night and Guardian walked in. "Busted." She snickered.

"Shut up." I glared at her.

"Make me." she said returning to her childish act. "You got seen and it wasn't my fault." She smirked.

"Did you guys set me up?" I crossed my arms.

~Nope, we were going to. But then you ran into them on your own.~ Guardian said. ~So what happened?~

"I'm meeting up with them tonight." I sighed.

~Yay!~ Wind dancer cheered.

~Do you even know what we're talking about?~ Sky skimmer questioned.

~Err... Sparkles?~ She cocked her head.

"Ahh... No... Actually where is Sparkle?" I asked

~Here! What I miss?~ Sparkle asked as she ran into the room

"Where have you been all day?" Night raised her eyebrow.

~Umm... I followed Silver and ran into N.~ She bit her lip.

"What!?" I practically yelled.

~It's ok I'm fine and I didn't tell him anything.~ She tried to defuse the situation.

"Ok." I sighed. "I'm meeting up with them tonight anyway."

~Who?~ Melody asked as she appeared with Sachi and Faith.

"Silver, Red, Destiny, Sora, Rafe."

I sighed and walked over to where my bag was laying and went through it, pushing many keepsakes out of the way till I got to my photo album. I pulled it out and flicked strait to the back were I kept my newer photos of me and my friends. I looked through the photos, smiling slightly at the memories. A tear rolled down my face as I shut the album.

Melody sat on my shoulder. ~So what are you going to do?~

I buried my head into my knees and sobbed quietly. "I don't know." I whispered.

~Well you're going to have to tell them something.~

"I don't even know if I'm going I go." I continued to sob, hugging my knees close to my chest.

Melody started to stroke my back. ~Well you know they all missed you. You should and least tell them what's going on.~

"I don't know how. I just don't want them to get hurt."

~But they can help.~ She tried to reason.

"But if they do can you assure me they won't get hurt?" I said still not looking up.

She paused. ~No, I can't. But I know they won't mind Emma. I promise you it will be a risk they're willing to take.~

"They may be willing but I'm not." I whispered.

~Emma, you can't go in like this forever.~ She paused. ~You can't say you don't need help.~

I looked up at her. "I do want the help, I just don't want to take the risk of my friends getting hurt."

~Well you need to make a decision on which you want more. Help or the safety that you need more than anything right now.~ She was sounding very concerned.

I took a sharp breath in and looked down and my knees. "I'll go. But I'm still not sure if I'm going to ask for help."

Melody sighed. ~Well whatever you choose, we'll always support you Emma. No matter what.~

I looked at all my Pokemon who had crowded around me, well almost all one was still missing. "Thank you, all of you." I whispered but each and everyone still heard and smiled in response.

>Third person<

N unlocked the large steel door and walked into the dimly lit room.

He walked over to the cage at the far end of the room and looked at the Pokemon inside.

Each one of the Pokemon's ribs stuck out of its side and it looked up to glare at him but didn't have the strength to stand.

"You ready to talk?" N snarled at it.

~You know good and well that I would rather die then tell you anything.~ It snarled weakly.

"Oh how I'd like to kill you. But if I do then I'll loose my leverage over your trainer." N smirked.

~Emma will never give up. She will defeat you, just wait and see.~ It growled.

"I'd like to see her try." With that N walked out of the room, but stopped at the door and turned back to look at the Pokemon with his hand on the nob "This could all stop you know, just tell us where your trainer is."

~Never!~ It glared at him

N shrugged. "Your funeral."

With that he closed the door, casting the room back into darkness.

The Pokemon closed its eyes ~Emma.~ It whispered to the darkness. ~Please, please be safe.~ It willed the message to its trainer, praying she heard.

That has to be the most depressing chapter I have ever written (edit- no not really)

I let you know more of Emma's current Pokemon and told ou a bit about the one who is missing.
