>Red's pov<

Emma sat in silence, blushing a little as the Lumioneon disappeared upstream and the lights in the river faded to nothing. The fireflies and humming stayed for a while longer though but soon, they to disappeared into the night. Not that it really mattered or that I really paid attention. Emma had agreed to be my girlfriend and I was over the moon. I'd never let anything hurt her if it was within my power to stop it. I loved her and couldn't help but feel we together were made for each other.

Emma leaded onto my shoulder making me blush again as I wrapped my arm around her to help keep her warm.

"We should get back." Emma mumbled, looking as if she was ready to fall asleep.

"Yeah..." Was all I replied as we stood up together.

We started walking back to where we had set up camp. Nether of us said anything the entire way back, Emma looked lost in thought though, as if she was still figuring out what she'd agreed to.

When we finally got back, I noticed Emma's Pokemon were there, all looked quite proud of themselves. I wonder if they had anything to do with what just happened.

Emma was dragged off by Sora and Destiny while the boys came to talk to me... and Silver didn't look happy...

I'm so dead...

>Emma's pov<

As soon as Red and I got back to where we set up camp Sora and Destiny dragged me away from the boys.

"So what happened!?" Destiny asked, practically bouncing up and down.

"Umm... er... nothing." I said quietly, blushing like mad.

"Oh come on! This is the first time I've seen you blush. Something must of happened between you two." Sora smiled.

"Umm... well... we... umm... sorta... kinda... kissed!" I said quietly as Sora and Destiny started squealing and asking me all the details.

"Was is short and sweet or long and passionate?"

"Are you guys together now?"

"My little Emma is growing up." Sora smiled.

"Guys we have a problem!" I interrupted them.

"What is it?" Destiny half frowned.

"Red said that he likes me, like, likes-likes me." I frowned.

"And? what's the problem with that?" Destiny asked confused.

I took a deep breath in. "I think that I might like him to..." I blushed.

"I still don't see a problem with that..."

"The problem is I don't know how." I sighed and looked at the floor.

Sora and Destiny were quiet.

"I don't even know what love is anymore..." I whispered.

"Emma... love is like... when you put someone else's needs before yours." Sora smiled.

I sighed. "I'm not sure I can do this..."

Sora ruffled my hair. "Yes you can. We'll help ya." She smiled.

"Soooo... when's the wedding?" Destiny smirked.

I playfully hit her arm. "I'm only 14. I'm not getting married for like 10 years! If at all." I said the last part more quietly since there was a one out of three chance of me dying...

Sora gave me a hug as if reading my mind. "Nothing's going to happen to you. We won't let it." She smiled and I gave a small smile back.

"I know... but it doesn't stop the fact that its scary." I sighed.

>Red's pov<

"So tell us what happened." Silver crossed his arms and glared.

"Well... erm... umm..." I stuttered.

Out of the corner of my eye I noticed Night smirking at me. Something tells me that she had something to do with this.

"Well?" Silver glared.

"I'm umm... sorta dating Emma now..." I gave and awkward smile.

Rafe patted my back. "Good job man... but you're dead."

Silver's face was red. "You've got three seconds to start running." He said and I took off like a bullet, deciding the best place to hide was behind Emma. Who just sweat dropped at my actions and dragged Silver off a little ways and the two started to argue.

>Silver's pov<

I crossed my arms. "You're not allowed to date." I frowned.

"Says who?" She crossed her arms.

"I do!" I frowned.

"And who put you in charge of my life?" She frowned back. "You're not exactly my father."

"No but whether you like it or not I'm the closest thing you've got to one."

Emma's frown grew and she flicked her long brown hair. "I've been making my own decisions my whole life. Surly I'm old enough to decide if I want a boyfriend." She glared.

"You're 14!"

"And... what's you're point!?"

"That I say you can't have a boyfriend."

Emma sighed angrily. "I've been living on my own for years! I don't need you bossing me around like you did back in Sinnoh!"

"I'm trying to protect you!" I yelled angrily. "Why can't you see that!?"

"Because I don't need protecting! I have the power to control elements of nature and some of the most powerful Pokemon in the world! Literally, I'm the champion of 4 regions, I can protect myself! I've been doing it for 6 months now!" She yelled. "I've gone was to head with Team Plasma, Galactic, Rocket, Aqua, Magma, Void and even the police! Why do you stress as something like a boyfriend!"

I thought about this for a moment and sighed at Emma's stubbornness. "I'm not going to win am I?" I raised an eyebrow.

Emma smirked. "Nope."

I sighed again and shook my head. "I can't believe I'm letting you do this."

"You don't have a choice." With that she flicked her hair and walked back to where our camp was. I shook my head and smiled a little before following. Not being able to admit to myself that my little sister was growing up.

Emma walked back to the camp with confidence and announced that the was officially dating Red. Although she was blushing a little as she said it, she announced it like a victory. I guess I can live with the fact that my little sister was now dating one of my best friends but I guess I'll also have to make some rules about the two of them dating. Just to make sure...
