>Red's pov<

We've been walking for a few days now and we're almost to Twist Mountain. Most the walk had been in silence with us all lost in our own thoughts. Emma had said almost nothing at all, mostly trudging along behind us with her head down and hands in her pockets. Her Pokemon following on either side.

I looked back at her as she walked behind us silently. Hope and Trust were by her right side and Night on the other. Melody and Faith were invisible but I knew that Melody would be on her shoulder and Faith on her head. Rio was slowly walking next to her since she wanted to stay close to Emma and the exercise would help her get her strength back after the time she spent with N. Emma had clearly become over protective over her Arcanine, never letting Rio out of her sight as well as sleeping in the Arcanine's fur and constantly checking up on her. Emma over time had explained to us about her numerous encounters with N and just how badly he'd threaten her as a person the few times he'd temporarily caught her before her Pokémon freed her before they left the forest. It was actually kind of hard to hear about all the crap she'd been though, even harder for her to tell us.

Emma looked up at me and gave me a questioning look but I quickly looked forward again, not wanting to be questioned on why I staring at her.

Silver looked at the setting sun. "I think we should set..."

"Wait... shh." Emma interrupted looking at the sky frowning.

She quickly grabbed a branch of the tree above her and swung herself up, quickly, silently climbing to the top before peeking out between the branches. She held up her hand to shield her eyes then looked down at us.

"There are about 5 helicopters coming this direction. Plasma copters." She said to us in an upset voice. "I think... they're heading to Twist mountain." She jumped down, did a front flip and landed lightly on her feet in front of us. "We have to hurry."

"So walk through the night?" Silver asked frowning.

Night groaned. "I don't think I could walk another step." She sat down. "I'm not moving from this spot." She frowned, flicking her mane angrily.

Emma sighed and pulled out Night's Pokéball. "You move your butt or you go in here." She glared.

"Emma, Night has a point. We have been walking all day." Destiny pointed out.

"Wow... someone admitted that I'm right? That's a first." Night said sounding shocked. She looked at Emma. "Why can't you be more like Destiny?" She cocked her head and Emma hit her over the head.

"Shut up." She growled.

Night rolled her eyes. "Can you stop hitting me?"

"When you stop annoying me and pissing me off the I'll stop." She glared.

"So are we setting up camp?" Silver asked.

"Fine." Emma sighed and looked at the darkening sky. "I'm going for a walk." Before anyone could object she walked off.

All her Pokemon apart from Night followed, Night didn't move from where she was sitting.

After about and hour we had a camp site set up and Emma still hadn't come back, neither had any of her Pokémon.

"I'm going to look for Emma." I said standing up from where I was sitting.

The others nodded and I walked into the forest. Night followed.

"Why are you coming?" I asked her.

She rolled her eyes. "I'm allowed to come aren't I?" She snapped.

"No." I said blankly.

"To bad cause I am." She smirked raising her head arrogantly.

"Do you know where Emma is at least?"

Night raised her snout and sniffed the air. "Yup. Want me to take you with me."

"Whatever."

After a few minutes of walking through the dark forest, that was only lit but the light of the full moon we came to a river. Emma was sitting on a log watching the moon rise.

Her hood was pulled back and the moon made her hair seem silvery-gold as it shone on her straight hair. Her eyes seemed blank, dull like cloudy pools of water, the purple flecks of her eyes were glassy and seemed to have lost there colour now they looked almost grey.

I sat down next to her, remember when we did this at the league a year back.

Emma didn't move or say anything but continue to stare at the moon.

Hope and Trust ushered Emma's Pokemon away leavening us alone.

>Hope's pov<

Trust and I ushered Emma's Pokemon behind the tree line. ~Ok let's do this.~ I smirked.

Emma's Pokemon nodded and went to where they were needed. We'd been planning this for a while. Now all we needed to do was execute the plan.

Twilight jumped in a tree and got ready to do her job. Melody sat in a tree while Faith talked to a wild Lumineon who agreed to help. Trust, Night, Rioyaru, Thunder and Dreamer got ready by the river while I stood where I could get a good view of everyone and get the timing perfect. Timing, after all was the key to this plan.

I watched Emma and Red sit quietly by the river not looking at each other and I gave the signal for Rioyaru, Dreamer and Thunder to light up the river with Thunderbolt and Trust to control it with Psychic while Night used Dark pulse to make it look cooler.

Emma and Red looked at the river in aware and I gave the signal for Faith, who was now a shiny Lumineon and the wild, male Lumineon to swim up the river, doing a little dance in the water. Leaping out together, swimming around each other and brushing the tips of there glowing wings together.

I smiled. So far so good. The final part was for Melody to start humming a 'romantic' tune and Twilight to make a cute little firefly display. In case you haven't already guessed, we were playing Cupid. Why? I don't exactly know but we had all decided that it was finally time Emma got a boyfriend and had all decided that Red would fit the roll perfectly. He has after all, had an obvious crush of her for like ever.

I gave the final signal to Melody and Twilight, each did there jobs and everyone else did theirs. I kept my eyes on the two as they looked into each others eyes.

Come on. I said in my head. Make the moment.

>Emma's pov<

The river in front of me lit up a mixture of purples and yellows as what looked like a stream of electricity under the water lit it up. I didn't know if this was a regular occurrence in Unova but who knows, the world is full of weird things.

"Woah that looks cool." Red smiled.

"It's pretty." I mumbled as two Lumineon started swimming around in the lit river.

The spun and danced and leaped out of the water in perfect sinc. One was more of a creamy-brown colour showing it was shiny.

"They're beautiful." I gasped not taking my eyes off the pair.

"Do you want to catch one?" Red asked.

I shook my head. "They look happy. We should leave them be." I smiled a little.

It was quiet for a while before Red finally spoke, "Isn't tonight pretty?" He asked looking at the dancing Lunineon.

"No... it's beautiful." I smiled a bit, feeling myself slowly relax. The past few days had been tough to get though with all the prophecies and what not so this was really the first time in a while I relaxed.

I felt Red's gaze on me so I looked up at him. He smiled and tucked a piece of hair behind my ear. "You're beautiful as well." He smiled with a blush.

My cheeks flushed with embarrassment. "No I'm not." I looked down at my lap, tracing some of the scars that I knew were hidden under my jumper with my finger tips. "No one thinks that." I whispered, shame creeping into my voice.

"I do." He mumbled, he played with my hair a little making me blush even more as I looked back up at him. "You're the most beautiful person I've ever met and... and I really like you, like... Like-like like you." His face was almost completely pink. "I have for a while now... I just... Never really got a chance to say it... I thought that I should before..."

I blinked in surprise not quite believing what he just said. Red... Liked me?

"Red... I... I..." I stuttered as a tear slipped down my cheek and I looked at my lap again out of pure shame. "I'm not sure I can..."

"What do you mean?" Red asked frowning slightly

"I'm I'm not sure I can do that stuff any more... I... I, my heart has been shattered so many times... I don't think..." I stuttered as another tear slipped down. "I don't even know if I'll grow up to be able to get married or have a family.... And if I do, I'm not sure I'll even want one."

Red wiped away my tear and tilted my chin so I was looking into his warm, red eyes. "Yes you can and you will... let me help you... you're the most perfect and beautiful person I've ever met and I love you more than anything." He whispered. "I'll help make your heart whole again. I'll always be there for you and I promise, nothing will ever break your heart again..." He slipped his hand around the back of my head, pushing my lips against his. Wait... me... and... Red... were... kissing? Actually kissing?

It was short and sweet. He pulled away and looked deep into my sapphire blue eyes. "Nothing will ever hurt you again if you're with me." He smiled as the blush on his cheeks spread. "Because I love you more than all the stars in the sky and I want you to be mine."

More tears rolled down my face and I slowly nodded. He smiled and pulled me into another gentle kiss.

Then it hit me. I think that... I might like Red to...

But is that even possible? Is my heart to full of shame, fear, anger and regret to love?

Do I even need love?

>Hope's pov<

We all smiled as Emma and Red kissed again.

~Mission accomplished.~ I smiled at them, as all Emma's Pokemon joined me to watch. All of the others nodded and smiling.

~She deserves it.~ Thunder nodded as Twilight rubbed against his side smiling.

~More than anyone, Emma deserves to be happy. Now... hopefully... she will be.~ Rio smiled as she watched her trainer, yawning tiredly at the effort of using Thunderbolt so long.

"Of course... if Red does break her heart like I think he will, we will get to beat the crap out of him, right?" Night smirked.

~Red wont do that... he's had a crush in Emma for like ever.~ Mel said with a giggle. ~And even though she didn't know it, she liked him as well.~

~This will help Emma learn something she so desperately needs.~ Faith smiled. ~Love.~ After with she started humming 'can you feel the love tonight'.

All of us agreed with the first logical thing Faith had ever said, not so much for her humming skills though.

Emma needs love... and with Red's help, she was going to get it.

"Now... who's going to tell Silver?" Night asked.

All of us were quiet... none of us had even thought of Silver's reaction...

It finally happened!!! WITH NO INTERRUPTIONS!!! I will admit I was going to make Silver pop out of no where buuuut I think Emma and Red have waited long enough. Don't you?

Any way my zoning out problems getting better... slowly. I think it's cause a car scared the hell out of me when I started to zone out while crossing the road... Not my smartest move -_-"
