>Emma's pov

I just stared at Twilight. "Are you sure?"

Twilight rolled her eyes ~Ge, let me think about how many red heads would be traveling with two brunettes, one with a blue streak, a ravenette and a black head.~ She counted off the people on her claws.

I took another deep breath in. "Ok point taken... Where are they now?"

~They left I think. I didn't follow them the whole way out cause I heard the explosion and figured you needed help.~

I crossed my legs and put my head on my hands. What now?

Should I ask for help or just continue like this?

~So?~ Hope asked, cocking her head as if reading my mind... Again.

I stood up, ignoring the pain that shot through my side. I walked to the mouth of my cave. "I'm going out." I said and made my way down the cliff face.

Night followed me. "So where are we going?"

"To get food."

Night snorted and flicked her nine white tails. "Yeah right. You're hoping to see Silver." She smirked

"Ok you got me." I sighed and Night snickered. "But we're not talking to them. I don't want them involved."

"So you're just going to spend the rest of your life living in a cave with the police after you?" She said raising an eyebrow.

I shrugged and sighed again. "I don't know what I'm going to do. Now are you going to keep look out or continue to judge me and my fucked up life?" I jumped from the final ledge but fell once I hit the ground due to my new injury. I took the chance to quickly heal it while Night caught up to me.

"I'll continue to judge." She smirked walking forward anyway. "And since when did you swear?"

"Since you started to piss me off."

She rolled her eyes.

"Now do your job, I evolved you for a reason."

"Yeah, cause I wouldn't stop bugging you to." Night once again rolled her eyes, but stuck her snout in the air anyway. "Clear."

We walked towards the berry trees, one of my main sources of food in this forest, while staying hidden and well out of sight.

>Silver's Pov

I ran down another ally hoping to find Sparkle. She was our only lead to Emma and I wasn't going to let it go so easily.

~STAY BACK!~ A voice that belonged to a certain Pichu I knew shouted.

I hid behind a bin an peaked out at the battle unfolding.

N was towering over Sparkle with a Zoroark pinning her down with his claws.

"Were's Emma?" He snarled, wait could he understand her?

~As if I'll ever tell you!~ She squeaked as the Zoroark pressed its claws harder against her back. She struggled again and I could see tears falling over herded cheeks.

I jumped out of hiding, knowing that Emma wouldn't want her Pokémon to be suffering. "Let her go!" I yelled and threw out my newest Pokemon, a Greninja.

I was sent an egg from Emma for Christmas in fact we all were. Mine had hatched into a Froakie and I will admit the only reason I agreed to train it was because it was from Emma. But the little Pokemon was determined to show how tough it was and evolved, ever since he'd been a valued member of the team.

"Let the Pichu go or you both get it!" I glared.

N gave me a look of disgust. "Why do you care about this Pichu?"

Sparkle gave me a pleading look that I understood. She didn't want me to tell him I knew Emma.

"You're mistreating it." I glared. "I hate people who mistreat Pokemon." That didn't sound to bad, for a lie. Damn I miss Emma. The one time I'd like her to lie.

"So do I. That's why Team Plasma will liberate all Pokemon from there trainers. To stop them abusing there Pokemon."

"Hypocrite much" I glanced at Sparkle who was struggling from the Zoroark's claws.

"This isn't my Pokemon," He stated as if it didn't mater. "it's a Pokemon that belongs to a certain girl who has interfered with our goal and we plan to put an end to her."

I felt my face pale. They wanted to kill Emma!?

~THAT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN N!~ Sparkle yelled and an explosion of sparks erupted from her body, knock the Zoroark off her.

She leapt on my Greninja's shoulder and we took off running.

~Head towards that way!~ Sparkle yelled pointing towards the entrance to Pinwheel forest.

We did, calling the others along the way. Telling them to meet us half way through.

We stopped panting for air at the agreed meeting point.

~What time is it?~ Sparkle asked biting her bottom lip.

I checked my Poképhone. "About 1. Why?"

~CRAP! I am so late! Emma is soooo going to kill me!~ She leapt off Greninja's shoulder and took off into a bush, disappearing without a trace just as every one else was coming.

"Where's Emma's Pichu?" Soren asked.

I shrugged. "She just took off, saying Emma was going to kill her." I sighed.

"At least we're sure that this is Emma's Pichu and that she's somewhere close." Destiny pointed out.

I sighed and told them about what N said in the ally and what this meant for Emma. Everyone listened intently to every word.

"If Emma was in trouble why wouldn't she of made contact?" Sora asked. "Wouldn't it have been easier for her to ask us?"

I thought about this. "Emma is very independent... she prefers to do things on her own and hates people paying her to much attention..." I trailed off. "But I think that there is something else involved that we don't yet know or understand."

The others agreed. "So what do we do now?" Rafe asked.

"I don't think it would be a good idea to go back to Nacrene City I think we should head back to Castelia City. Maybe we would find some answers there."

The others agreed and we headed back to Pinwheel forest, everyone looking around slowly for any trace of my sister.

>Red's Pov<

We walked through Pinwheel forest in silence. I was at the back of the group lost in thought. I couldn't believe we had found a lead to Emma on the first day here. But I couldn't understand why she left in the first place or why she had stopped talking to us.

I actually feel like it's my fault. I think I embarrassed her at the ball back in Sinnoh which made her leave. But if she needed help, why didn't she ask?

I looked up as the feeling of being watched returned. I checked my surroundings carefully. My gaze settled on a shadowed Pokémon, watching us with its crimson eyed shape gaze. They didn't look intimidating or as if they meant harm. They just looked... watchful. As if the owner was keeping us safe.

The Pokemon raised her head, allowing me to get a good view of the owner, an Absol I knew well by the mega charm around her neck, Guardian. She looked at me and nodded before taking off.

With only a single shout to alert that I was leaving, I took off after her hoping that she was going to lead me to Emma. I ignored the shouts of protest from the others and continued to follow the Disaster Pokemon. I followed her to a clearing were other Pokémon were waiting for her, other Pokémon of Emma's.

"Wait for me Twilight!" A young sounding voice whined.

~Zoro Zoro ark.~ A Pokemon replied annoyed.

"Buuut Twilight." The younger voice moaned.

Guardian leapt over a bush and I peaked over. Twilight and Trixie were standing there arguing as Guardian approached.

~Ab Absol!~ She said in a demanding tone.

Man I wish Silver was here... or Emma.

The three Pokemon continued to argue with no idea I was watching.

The Zebstrika from earlier entered the clearing with the Blitzel and a Deerling.

~Finally! There you are Twilight!~ A voice said telepathically. ~Do you know where Emma went? She disappeared with Night right after we told her that Silver and the others were here.~

Wait, Emma knew we'd been here?

"What is it Faith?" A familiar and slightly annoyed voice asked. So the Zebstrika was Faith this whole time... That would explain it.

My heart stopped as Emma push aside a bush walked into the clearing. She honestly looked terrible. She had dark bags under her eyes and looked as if she hadn't eaten in a while. She also wasn't wearing a jacket or anything leaving her scared arms exposed, but she didn't seem to mind unlike normal where she would flip if someone saw.

~Thunder said not to go to the southern berry fields cause N is there with Team Plasma.~ She notified

Emma cursed under her breath, running a hand though her hair with annoyance.

I took a step forward ready to aproach her when a Ninetails came running into the clearing. "Emma you have to go now! Team Plasma is coming this way." She yelled sounding pissed off.

Emma cursed again but nodded and pulled herself on Twilight's back. "Faith take the littlies back to the cave, the rest of you cover for Faith."

With that Twilight took off running with Emma on her back and Faith started to herd Trixie, the Blizel and the Deerling away leaving just Guardian and the Ninetails.

Guardian turned and looked at me followed by the Ninetails. ~Ab Ab Absol Sol.~ Guardian said.

"Red we know you're there." The Ninetails said. "Now get out here we don't have much time."

I stepped out from behind the bush. "How do you know my name?" I asked "I've never seen you before."

The Ninetails shifted and looked at Guardian who gave her a not-getting-involved look.

She returned with a thanks-a-lot. "Umm... remember when Emma told you about the voice in her head from when she had her body taken over a little over a year ago, at the Sinnoh league?" She said hesitantly.

I nodded.

"Well..." I looked into her red flecked eyes and it hit me.

I knew those eyes. About a year and a half ago now at Team Voids base. Emma was taken over by another her or something.

"When Emma was shot at the league Xerneas and Yvetal appeared to her... us in a place called the middle and told her that she could live with me in her head forever or turn me into a Pokemon, but I had to stay loyal to her and blah blah blah. Long story short I'm now a Ninetails, but I was a Vulpix. Emma evolved me a while ago cause I annoyed the hell outta her till she did."

~Absol, Ab Sol Ab.~ Guardian said.

The Ninetails nodded to her then looked back at me. "I'm going to lead you back to the others. But listen you can't tell them about what you saw just now. Even about Emma."

"Why not?" I asked

"Let's just say that she doesn't want help but we're trying to help you help her. Guardian distraction." She looked at Guardian briefly. "I'm taking Red back." With that she started through the forest with me following.

"My name's Night Voice by the way, but I normally go by Night." She said.

"Right." I paused. "How is Emma?" I asked.

Night sighed. "She's getting worse each day. She rarely eats cause she try's to make sure that we're ok. She's afraid to sleep..." She looked up at me as if knowing what I was thinking. "and this time it's not my fault. She keep breaking down crying and refuses to accept help of others."

"Why?"

Night sighed and stopped. "I'm afraid that will have to wait. But it does have something to do with that fact that one of her Pokemon I went missing a while ago." She nodded her head strait. "You're friends are just through there and remember don't tell them or Emma won't accept there help. Just try to keep them close, just in case." With that she started to walk off.

"Wait two more questions." I pleaded and Night stopped waiting. "Why won't she ask for the help that she so obviously needs and who's missing?"

Night thought about this. "I can't answer the second one right now but for the first question, Emma doesn't want any of you getting hurt. You all risked your lives for her before and she's afraid that this time not everyone will survive." With that she took off running and I made my way to my group, trying to think up an excuse for me to have run off.
