*Balloon's P.O.V*

Man. Things have gotten better with me and Taco ever since our fight!

Not only that, but the current season of Inainmate Insanity went on hiatus ever since the events of episode 14.

Taco went ahead and told me what had went down during that episode. From aliens called 'Shimmers', to Mephone's terror of the supposed return of Steve Cobs. It was wild!

It took me a minute to take it all in, but I understood how stressed and hurt she was that day. We took that day to vent out all that. 

That was about 2 months ago. Right now, we're, well I'm just hanging out at the cabin. I'm here on the couch, chilling with Ash. Next to me, was a deactivated Mepad.

We haven't been able to find out how to turn him back on without opening his panel. I feel so bad for him, he didn't deserve this.

There has to be a way to turn him back on without- 

"[REBOOT COMPLETE]", something loud announce.

"Ah!", I shout in terror

I look around and end up looking over to Mepad. His stomach had looked liked it was turned on. What the hell?

"[REBOOT COMPLETE]", the voice announces again.

"[INITIATE START UP SEQUENCE]", it announced.

I can see the screen on Mepad turn black, but it has a bar on screen now. I think it's a bar to say that it's turning on?

On the bottom, I see that it says how long it's going to take before Mepad turns on fully. It says.... 'one day'. So, Mepad will turn on tomorrow huh? ...

OH CRAP! HE'S GOING TO TURN ON TOMORROW!

OH GEEZ! WHAT IS HE GOING TO THINK!? WHAT IS GOING TO SAY!? WHAT WAS I GOING TO SAY!? WHAT WILL HE THINK OF TACO!?

There's too many questions and panic for me to focus on. I have to calm myself down before I have some sort of panic attack.

I close my eyes and focus on my breathing. After about 5 minutes, I open my eyes again. *sigh* I feel calmer now.

Ash nudges my arm wanting pets. I go ahead and pet him. He's such a cute bunny. We need to get him adopted soon.

Maybe me and Taco can go tomorrow afternoon? Mepad won't turn on until tomorrow evening, so it should be okay!

I'll ask her when she gets back. Taco was getting some take out for us in the city. We decided to get some pizza because why not. I hope she has it okay over there.

Oh shit! I need to tell her about Mepad! I just remembered about him! How is she going to respond to him activating!?

Just like fate, the door opens. Man, the scripted timing is scary sometimes. Taco comes through the door with a bag.

"I'm back!", she called out.

"Hey Taco! Was the trip okay?", I asked.

"It was good! I did see some cops out in the forest still, but nothing I can't handle.", she said.

"Oh geez. Man, is it just me? Or are there more cops out there than usual?", I pondered.

"I think there are more cops than like 2 months ago.", she pointed out.

"Damn. We really need to be careful when going out then.", I say groaning.

"Yea... but we can handle with that later. For now. Let's eat!", she exclaims.

"A-Actually.. Before we do... I need to show you something..", I say nevously.

"Oh? Okay? What is it?", she asked.

"U-um...", I stutter.

I didn't know how exactly to word it, so I pointed to Mepad. She looked confused, so she looked to Mepad and saw his screen on.

"What the fuck?", she said in shocked.

"How did this happen!?", she asked me.

"I-I... I don't know! I was just hanging out with Ash when the system said 'Reboot Completed' and 'Initiate Start Up Sequence'! I might have had a mini panic attack, but i'm good.", I answer.

"Oh... I thought you did something. Sorry about that.", she apologized.

"It's okay Taco!", I say.

"Well... when is he supposed to turn on?", she asked.

"According to the screen, in one day. So, tomorrow evening at best.", I answered.

"Okay. That's a lot sooner than I anticipated...", she muttered.

"Yea. Like I said, had a small panic attack about it.", I say flustered.

"You okay?", she asked concerned.

"Yep. I'm okay!", I say happily.

"Good. Now. Can we eat?", she asked.

"Sure! We can eat now.", I say.

Taco goes to the kitchen and grabs some plates so we can eat. She comes back with plates and drinks.

She sits down and we begin to talk and eat. This was really nice! Just us, hanging out, no worries what so ever.

Oh right! I need to ask her about going to the pet store tomorrow! Just like it was scripted, Ash jumps on my lap.

"Oh Ash. Such a cute little boy.", I coo.

Taco reaches over and pets his head. Ash does a little happy bop as she continues to pet his head.

"He is indeed a cute little boy~!", she cooes.

"Hehe. That reminds me. We should probably to go to the pet store so we can find out how to adopt Ash here.", I say.

"Ah. You're probably right. Should we go tomorrow? We're not doing much.", she asked.

"Sure. We can do that. But what do we put Ash in?", I asked.

"Maybe a box? We can cut holes in it.", she suggested.

"That works!", I agree.

So that was our plan for tomorrow. To find out how to adopt Ash and to adopt him!

We finished eating and Taco put the dishes up. I dicided to put the food up since we had some leftovers. Once we were done, we head to bed.

I can't wait to finally adopt Ash. I just hope Mepad doesn't wake up when we're gone.

Ugh....

Huh?

Where...

Where am I?

This is not the contestant grounds, or the hotel. Was I kidnapped?

If I was kidnapped, I would be tied up. So, I do not belive I am kidnapped.

However, where is Mephone4 and Toliet?

Oh, wait a minute. Toliet is gone. He was fired by Mephone. I wish Mephone didn't fire him.

Hmm. I suppose not knowing where I am is a much bigger concern than Mephone. Maybe I should scout the area?

I get up from the rather comfortable yet uncomfortable floor and walk around this house. I belive I am in the living room, small but livable.

I head to the room ahead of me, and I see it's a kitchen. The kitchen was rather clean, say execpt for the dishes in the sink. I walk out and head to the other side of the house.

I open one door and I see that it is a restroom. It is small, but passable for living! I close the door and head to presumably, the final room in this house.

This final room, was a bedroom. It was slightly bigger than the living room, and was rather nice. It was a little empty, but it was still a nice room.

Hmm. I believe this is a cabin of sort. I walk back to the couch I was near and sit down on it. It was rather comfortable.

However, I cannot wrap my head as to why I am here. Maybe I was hurt and was brought here to heal? I do not feel injured physically however.

I decide to check to see if I need any internal repairs or if I needed to be updated. I click on my chest to go to my systems.

Hmm. It doesn't look like I need to be updated, but I do have minor damage to some wires. It is not too big of a worry however.

I am perfectly fine. But, why was I knocked out? How did I get knocked out? And, who knocked me out?

Ah. I suppose I should worry about that later. I am rather safe here I presume. I do hope Mephone is alright however. 

He got rather worried about Cobs wanting to attack him. I wonder how the show is doing?

Hmm. Being alone is rather boring. I also am a tad hungry. I do not want to be rude and take what the person living here has. I might as well go get something small from the city. 

I do hope my teleportation doesn't mess up on me.

*2 hours later*

Ah. That meal was lovely. I also brought some leftovers incase the person who lives here got hungry. 

I also brought some more entertainment since it felt somewhat bland in here. Not that I don't judge, but it would be nice not to be bored.

Now. What should I do to pass the time? I think I will do-

"Man. Today was so fun!", a muttered voice exclaims.

Oh. I suppose I won't get time to myself. That's quite alright!

"It sure was! I'm glad we were able to adopt the little guy!", another muttered voice exclaims afterwards.

Oh? There were two people? I certainly didn't expect two other people living here. Let alone them having a pet. 

"Me too! Gosh, it was about time we did this! And the stuff we got isn't much, which is a shame.", voice number 1 said.

"I know. But, the cabin is rather small. Plus, we have Mepad here too!", voice number 2 said.

'They know I'm here? Did they help me?', I pondered.

"Oh that's right! Let's go in and see if he's awake!", voice 1 said.

"Alright!", voice 2 agreed.

Hmmm.... I feel like I know where I've heard that 2nd voice before... but where?

And soon after that, the door opens. Two people walk in and the first one is a female who I didn't recgonize.

The first one stops and just stares at me, like she was shocked to see me.

"Taco? Are you okay? What's going-....", the second one asked.

He soon saw me and was just as shocked as the first one was. I recgonize the second one.

It was Balloon. Why was he here? Shouldn't he be at the hotel with all the other former contestants?

We continue to stare for what felt like eternally before Balloon speaks.

"Mepad?", he calls out.

"Good evening Mr. Loon.", I greet.

I can see him slightly cringe a bit. The female looks a little nervous before she speaks.

"Holy crap...", the female says shocked.

"He's awake...."
