"Hey, Logan, wait up!" A familiar voice came from the half down the hall.

      Logan turned around to see Patton running towards him, as he had suspected.

     "Hello, Patton, what may I assist you with?" Logan asked the out of breath boy next to him.

      "Do you know where Virgil is?" Patton asked, "I wanted to sit with me at lunch today."

       "I'm afraid I he went home for the day already." Logan said.      

       " Oh....." Patton said suddenly feeling a bit sad.

     "Are you alright, Patton?" Asked Logan, surprised at the fact he cared,  "You appear to be upset." 

      Forcing a smile Patton answered, "Yeah, I'm fine. I'll just be lonely is all."

     "Well...... perhaps, you could sit with me today. If you would like to, that is." Logan told the clearly upset boy.

    "Really!?!?!?!?!?!?!" Patton asked as his face lit up.

    "Sure." Logan replied.

    "THANK YOU LOGAN!!!!!!!!" Patton squealed excitedly, while hugging Logan.

     "U-uh.... You're welcome, Patton. Shall we be going to the table, then? Logan replied flustered from the sudden physical contact.

    "Yep, let's go!" Patton said dragging  Logan to the cafeteria. 

      Logan and Patton had a great time at lunch, and their last class of the day. After school Logan went to Patton's house to help out with homework. That night, they both fell asleep with a smile on their faces. Neither boy knew why, all they knew was it was that it had been a great day. All because of lunch.
