The ride home from Starbucks was silent except for the occasional, "are we there yet?" from Remy. When they finally got to Virgil's house Roman asked, 

"Do you live alone?"

"Y-yes," Virgil replied. "My parents died a couple days ago."

"Wait hold up mom and dad are-" Remy starts then runs to his brother's side and starts crying. 

"Rem it's okay," Virgil says crouching down next to him. Roman just stands there in awe of how adorable he thinks Virgil is. 

"I am so sorry for you loss. You can stay alone though come to my house." Roman said. Remy nodded and hugged Roman. Roman was shocked but hugged him back.

"W-why are you doing this?" Virgil asked quietly. 

"Because it really sucks when someone you love dies. I would know." Roman replies. Then, he looks down at Remy who has slumped against his leg asleep. Roman picks him up at puts him in the car.

"T-thank you R-roman." Virgil says. Then he looks at Roman and Roman looks back at him. They stared at each other for a long time then blushed deeply and looked away.

"Uh shall we?" Roman asked. 

"Sure," Virgil replied. 

Time skip brought to by Secret Secrets are no fun tell me know or else were done.

When they arrived at Roman's house Virgil picked up a still sleeping Remy and carried him inside. Roman's parents greeted them as Roman explained the situation. Roman's dads agreed to let Virgil and Remy stay in the guest room. 

"Thank you again," Virgil said to Roman as they walked upstairs to his room.

"Your very welcome," Roman replied. He looked at Virgil then grabbed his hand. Virgil blushed but didn't pull away. They stood for a moment longer and then walked their separate ways to their rooms. Both boys had concluded that they had a crush on the other. For the first time in a while Virgil went to bed smiling.
