>Silver's Pov<

The battle continued to rage on. I had noticed Red awhile ago battling with his Charzard and Entei out side the force field. My Feraligator was also battling with them.

Blade was starting to sweat, he flinched each time the force field was hit with an attack.

I looked down at my younger sister. She was still breathing fast and hard but at the same time slow an un even. Blood was still coming out of the bullet wound.

How long could we keep this up?

We needed to get Emma to hospital fast.

I looked over at Cyrus, who just stood there. Showing no remorse that his daughter was dieing of blood loss.

Cyrus started to walk towards the force field, he stopped right in front.

I glared at him, if Emma didn't need me right now I'd be strangling him.

He seemed amused. He looked as if he was about to say somthing when a hydro pump knocked him into a wall.

I looked at my Feraligator and smirked at him.

Note to self- Give Feraligator a treat later.

"Retreat!!!"

I don't know who said it but I was thankful that they did.

"Blade drop the force field! we've got to get Emma to a hospital!"

Blade dropped the force field and ran to my side.

He put his hand above mine, were the bullet wound would be and closed his eyes.

He looked at me and picked Emma up. I stood up to, making sure to keep pressure on the wound.

Red ran to my side. "What happened!?"

"Emma was shot." I replied. "I'm going to get her to a hospital, you tell the others."

He nodded and Blade and myself ran from the building.

When we got out side there was an ambulance. One of the doctors noticed me and Blade and he took Emma from my arms and place her on a stretcher and they loaded her onto the ambulance.

The doctor signalled for me to follow. Me and Blade jumped on one of the little seats in the ambulance and it took off towards the hospital.

Not much longer Emma, just hold on!

>Emma's Pov<

<Some time later>

Me and Night just sat there. In the "middle" we didn't know how much time had past or how long we had left.

"What do you think's happening?" Night asked, breaking the silence

I shrugged. "Don't know... I hope every one's ok." I sighed.

"You're worried about all of them when your sitting here dieing?" She said amused.

I nodded and closed my eyes. "They're the closest thing I have to family... besides Clair and my Pokemon of course... I wonder what they were after..."

"You?"

"... Maybe... but it doesn't feel right. Why would Cyrus try to shoot Silver if he was after me?"

"To stop him from interfering?"

"I don't know, I just hope there all ok..." I said, I missed them all a lot even though I'd only been here for what, a few hours? Days? I didn't know, time seemed endless here.

Beep beep beep

"Did you hear that?" I said.

Night nodded. "Do you think that means we're going back?"

I stood and nodded. "Look around dose this place seem darker to you?"

Night looked around and nodded. "I think that means we're getting ready to leave."

The area around us continued to darken and Night slipped her hand into mine and we both closed our eyes.

Beep beep beep

My eyes flickered open but closed them again when hit by the light. I waited a few more seconds before I tried to open them, I blinked a few times and allowed my eyes to adjust.

I looked around the room I was in, the hospital room by the looks of it. the walls were baby blue with a white carpet. next to my bed was a heart monitor and what looked like some sort of machine pumping blood into my body.

I also noticed Sora asleep with May laying her head in her shoulder, on a little couch in the corner.

I tried to push my self up into a sitting position, but fell back down when pain shot threw my arm and stomach. I groaned, accidentally waking up Sora and May.

May yawned and looked at me, "Emma?" She said seeing that I was awake.

Sora got up and walked to my side. "How you feeling?"

"Alright I guess..." I said huskily, my throat felt extremely dry.

May got a bottle of water out of her bag and handed it to me. "Here have a drink, you've been out for three days."

"Really?" Wow... three days. "Where is everyone?"

"They went to the end of tournament dance thingie, they had to go as part of the finalists, May and myself volunteered to stay and keep an eye on you incase you woke up." Sora answered.

"Though we all know the reason Sora volunteered to stay is so I didn't force her into a dress..." May said.

I thought about this for a second then gave Sora and May a look, that they read perfectly and didn't like.

"Oh no Emma! you need to stay and rest." Sora crossed her arms

"Oh come on, please"

"Come on Sora we should at least let her go for an hour or two, we both know how worried everyone else is, especially Silver." May argued.

Sora sighed. "I'll go ask the doctor if Emma can go for an hour or two."

"Sora?" I called after her.

"Yeah?" She said at the door

"Can you get my bag from my room?"

"Umm... sure."

With that she left and May started to plan my outfit. I told her I didn't mind as long as my arms ad legs weren't showing any scares

<Half an hour later...>

After the doctor gave me the all clear to leave for the night May had gotten me dressed in a long, light purple dress. It had sleeves that went the entire way down my arm and even covered part of the back of my hand. It had blue sparkled that looked like falling star from my chest to about my knees. My left arm was in a sling, apparently I had broken part of it some how... most likely when the explosion knocked me off my feet.

My hair was out and brushed and I had a silver purse with my Pokéballs in it. Faith was flying by my side and Melody on my shoulder, Trust was in my arms and Hope by my side.

Do I even need to tell you about the reunion?

I still hadn't let Night out, I didn't want to... yet.

We walked into the ball room May and Sora by my side. Sora was wearing a blue and green knee high dress and May was in a sleeveless red dress that reached the floor. I spotted Red, Silver, Destiny and the others talking.

I smirked none of them had spotted me yet. I put my finger to lips, signalling May and Sora to stay quiet. they nodded and I snuck forward trying not to be seen.

Red noticed me and looked as if he was going to say something, I pressed my finger to my lips again and smiled.

Red nodded and turned back to the convocation, I snuck up behind Silver and tapped him on the back then quickly ducked and dodged avoiding his sight as he turned.

I giggled and did it again, and again but this time I wasn't fast enough as the pain in my lower stomach slowed me.

"Silver stop gawking. you look like you've seen a ghost." I giggled as he crushed me into a hug.

"Silver... crushing... injuries... still sore... please let go." I gasped and Silver let me go.

"Shouldn't you be resting?"

"Maybe." I said. "Guess you'll never know." I smirked.

"Yes she should, but we all know how stubborn Emma can be." Sora's answered.

Silver seemed to disapprove. "Then you should be in bed."

"Aww come on I thought you missed me."

"I did, but you need to rest... you lost a lot of blood the other day." Silver seemed worried and upset.

"I'm fine, I just want some fun... just for tonight."

"Fine, but if you need to sit down or need anything make sure you tell me."

"Yes mother." I smirked

Silver smirked and shook his head.

We stood around talking for a while. I was told that my Elite 4 battle would be held as soon as I was able.

A slow song starter and couples started to take the dance floor.

Sora and Rafe took there places as well as May and Drew.

Silver extended his hand to Destiny who took it, both blushing.

Both Soren and Red were looking at me they looked at each other and glared

"What's up with them?" I asked T.K.

"Sorry I'm not getting involved." T.K. smirked. "Your gonna have to find out in your own."

"Right..."

"Emma?" I turned to see Red and a disappointed Soren behind him. "Can I have this dance?"

I smiled a little and blushed. "You may."

Red led me to the dance floor by my good arm. I left Hope, Trust, Faith and Mel with T.K. and Soren.

He wrapped his arm around my waist, being carful of my bullet wound that was still healing.

As the song came to an end Red leaned in close and closed his eyes.

I felt tears burn in my eyes as I pushed him away. I honestly didn't know why I did it...

Red looked at my completely shocked.

I felt a tear roll down my cheek and I ran from the room. Faith, Mel, Hope and Trust hot on my heals. Tears rolling down my face.
