When I got off the boat I looked around Sunnyshore City. If I had to be honest, I would admit it was beautiful. The sun made every thing shine, made the water sparkle and the sky was cloudless. Faith and Mel were still invisible so as not to draw attention to us, Hope would do that enough on her own. She raised her her proudly and glared at any one who got to close.

"Loosen up Hope, you're drawing more attention by glaring at everyone." I sighed hoping to ease up the shiny Pokémon. She shook her head lightly and I sighed, sitting down on a bench that over looked the ocean. Ever since I told her about my past soon after I'd first gotten the shiny Pokémon she had been protective, even more so since our adventure in Sinnoh had started. It might also have something to do with the fact that her sister (who was still an eevee) was missing and had been for three years now. Team rocket had taken her soon after I got her and Hope from professor Elm when I was ten.

I shut my eyes, letting the memories surface from three years ago.

"Is there a Pokemon for me" I asked shyly.

"I'm afraid not." the professor said sadly. He looked up at my legal guardian Clair (yes the gym leader). "I'm really very sorry but the final starter we had left was recently stolen and the next batch of starters are not due for another month."

I looked at my feet with a disappointed sigh. "It's fine I guess."

The professors face lit up. "Hold up, I just had an idea." He exclaimed, running into the building. There was a few minutes of awkward silence in which I looked up at my adoptive parent with a confused frown. Professor Elm came out with two Pokémon eggs and a smile on his face. "These are two are a very rare Pokémon that I need to study, how ever with the new starters so close to hatching I won't have the time to take care of them, Emma" he said with a smile. "Could I trust you with that task."

I jumped into the air and fist pumped. "yes you can."

Clair looked at me and smiled "now you just have to wait for them to hatch and you can go on your jerney"

the professor handed me the eggs and they started to glow. My eyes widened I gently placed them in the ground and crouched down to look at them at the exact same time they hatched and two fox pokemon came out one silver and one brown they looked around with an amazed look on there faces there eyes settled on me and the silver one cocked her head. the professor stared at the this one in amazement and I wasn't surprised it wasn't every day you get a shiny. she jumped into my arms I looked her in the eyes

"I'll name you Hope after the hope you gave me for my jerney" she yipped her agreement the other one walked towards me slowly. I stuck out my hand for her to sniff. She did and rubbed her head agenst my hand.

"How would you feel about being named Trust." I asked the small brown fox. She nodded shyly

*end flashback*

Soon after I started with Hope and Trust I ran into a small problem

Team Rocket

For some reason the leader held a grudge against me I would have stayed away from them if they hadn't kidnaped me and stolen my eevee. Hope was heart broken when she found out and promised to do the best she could to protect me. I remember like it was yesterday as the memory was seared into my brain

*start of ze flash back*

<5 years ago>

I tip toed around the next corner of the team rocket hide out. Don't ask me what I'm doing here cause all I know is that I was kidnaped. My body now had recent brusis honestly these people were no better than my father. They had jumped me in the forest and stolen my Pokemon then beat me till I was barely awake the leader had yelled at me for stealing something but as I said I was barely awake. I eventually did fall asleep and when I woke up I found that someone had stupidly (on there part I didn't mind) left the door of my cell open. I had found all my pokemon on my belt that was on a hook in the survalionce room. With the guard asleep it was easy to sneak in there and get my 6 pokemon who were on my belt with one empty. Trust was for some reason separated from the rest of my team. Any way my shiny eevee trotted by my side nose in the air ears pricked on high alert for any signs of danger. I turned another corner and a male admin was walking right towards me. one word, crap. he saw me, glared and sent out a Crobat.

"Just give yourself up and no one gets hurt." I shook my head and ran into the nearest room I sent out my 5 pokemon who were still in there balls. (Sparkle (pichu), blade(ralts), twilight(zorua), Rioyaru(growlith) Pidge (pidgeoto)) who helped me push some furniture in front of the door. I returned my pokemon and me and Hope looked around for Trust and/ or an exit my eyes landed on a small cage in the corner I ran over to it to see if it had Trust in it. Sadly it had a pink pokemon that looked like a cross between Skitty and Purloin. She was lieing on the bottom she was oviasly weak. She looked up at me with sapphire blue eyes. A bit like mine.

~please.~ she begged ~let me out.~

I don't need to tell you what I did next cause it what any one with a heart would do.

After I opened the cage I slowly put my hand about an inch away from her head. At first she hesitated then she pushed her head into my hand. A spark flew down my arm and every thing around me faded it was like all that existed was me and this Pokemon. When she pulled her head away she looked at me with sad eyes

~what you seek is not here. we must leave soon if we are to get out the door will no hold much longer.~

it was only then I noticed that there was a banging on the door. But what about Trust I could not just leave her here. not alone. but according to this Pokemon she was not here.

~if you like I can teleport you out.~

I looked at Hope and she nodded

~If Trust is not here than what is the point of us getting caught cause if we do than we're no help to her.~ she had tears in the eyes.

I nodded to the pink Pokemon and just as the door burst open the three of us glowed and we left the base

*end ze flash back*

After that Faith agreed to join my team and we became pretty much unbeatable. But Trust was still missing and according to one of my Pokemon Celeana my Celabi, she would be retuned to me I just had to be patient and wait so I am. I stood up and looked up at the blue sky and smiled I had lost and gained a friend but I will find the one that is lost one day we will be a family again. just you wait and see.
