Ch. 2, 3 days in (Yami pov)

I watched as the I was assigned to follow fell asleep. I soon heard my stomach grumble I hadn't eaten in three days which isn't good for a vampire. So I went out on a hunt. I saw this boy walking alone on the street and decided he would make a good dinner. Dropping down in front of him. In two seconds flat my fangs were in his neck and all his blood was being drained.

"That wasn't too bad." I muttered to myself heading back to my assignments home. This was my third day I've had to watch to watch him sleep everyday so I'm glad That I don't sleep. I took out a text book and started to study for tomorrows science quiz.

"How's the shrimp?" I heard Ushio ask from behind me.

"One his name is Yugi. Two he's fine, he went to sleep a couple of minutes ago." I said turning to face him.

"Do you know any of his secrets? By know I hope you do by now." He asked. I don't understand why he would want to hurt cute, innocent soul. Wait why am I thinking like this?

"He likes games, doesn't have any friends, is smart, and lives in a games store. Is that what you were looking for?" I asked. Okay I lied to him about some things I know more than that by watching this boy but, I didn't tell him the real deep secrets I have seen.

"Is that all you know about him? I know your more talented than that Yami so spill." Ushio said. Still don't understand whats up with him and beating up this kid I wonder what his blood would taste like. Whoa I shouldn't be thinking like this I have to watch over him make sure only Ushio's gang can hurt him.

"I'm telling you all I know Ushio I know what happens to people who lie to you." I said. This is going to drive me nuts if I don't find out what these crazy thoughts and feelings are. Maybe I can look it up in computer science tomorrow I mean the teacher really doesn't do anything she just lets us go wild on the internet.
