It was 7 in the evening, tithi was sitting in her room thinking about what her maa had told her about her sister and why, where is her sister right now anyway, after coming back from school she had searched the whole house in hope of finding her sister but alas, she was nowhere to be found.
She is worried about her sister.
When she was thinking about all of this, a maid entered into the room, tithi asked her—
"Aunty where is di? And do you know what happend to Maa, why was she crying like that?."

The maid looked around to see if anyone else is present,
when she was sure there was no else other than them she looked at tithi and said—
"Today after your mother came from her parlor, she couldn't find riddhi at home as riddhi was suppose to be at home after coming back from collage. When she couldn't find her, she called your dad and ramu(the driver) and asked them to look for her, after 10 minutes both of them came and said they couldn't find riddhi anywhere, she didn't go to college today, when your mother was thinking what to do now, she got a call, she picked it up it was riddhi's call. She said that.... Sh....she...."
"What did she said!?!!" Tithi asked eagerly, she didn't liked where it was going.
"She said she got married to her lover kabir.......... "
"She did what?! Oh my God I'm so happy for her......" Tithi didn't let the maid complete her what she was saying, and stared to jump like a baby in excitement, she was really happy for her sister, she really loved kabir.
She was about to say more but the maid cut her off saying —
"But your mother was really angry at them because they got married without her permission, she was furious at your sister for marrying a Muslim boy. She said they can never set foot in this house again, and Riddhi is dead for her and she can't contact anyone from her family."
She looked at the maid and said in small voice"You're are kidding right? Maa wouldn't go to that extent to disown her right?"
She couldn't believe her maa can do something like that. She loved riddhi very much she can't do anything like this.
But the maid only gave her a small pitiful smile and went out of her room.
They aren't filthy rich but they are rich enough to afford a two story house, a maid and a car.
Tithi's dad is a doctor by profession and her maa run a parlor of her own.
Tithi went to her parents room to ask her mother is what the maid said is true.

She knocked on the door, after a minute she heard a faint 'come in'.
She went inside, If you walked in a forest at first light, if you let the awakening green hues into your soul, that would be the sense that was their bedroom. There was a calmness, a serenity, a feeling of optimism.

They had a simple white colour bedroom, but tithi liked the room most because of the big windows in the room.

She saw them sitting on the bed, she went and sat beside her mom.
Sonali has stopped crying by then, she was starting at the floor as if it's most important thing in the world.
"Maa I know what di had done but isn't it too much to disown her, think carefully, you can still call her and ask them to come......... " Tithi didn't get to finish her sentence as her mother glared at her like tithi had sprinkled salt on her wounds.
"Like I said before don't ever mention her in this house. She broke my trust and I can't break my relation with her? It was me who had her in my womb for nine months, it was me who had to bear the pain when she was born, yet she chose that muslim boy over me!?!? We gave her everything she ever wanted yet she left us. If she doesn't need us then nor do we. Don't ever try to contract her, if you do then you are also dead for us." Her mother said, at the end her voice broke slightly.
Tithi felt her heart just broke at her mother's statement, but what she said is true even if tithi hates to admit it.
They always gave riddhi everything she wanted, but she broke their trust.
Even so riddhi is still her sister and she loved kabir so tithi couldn't blame her either. In this situation only their cruel fate is the one to blame.
"Do you understand?" Sonali asked her daughter while thinking what if tithi also do something like that, then what? But she thought tithi wouldn't do something like that.
"I understand maa I would never try to contract her again" Tithi said.
She thought to herself how will she keep her word when she love her di so much , it will literally kill her to forget about her sister and act as if she never existed.

After that tithi went to her room,
Tithi learned a lot today.....she learned  that things don't always turn out the way you planned, or the way you think they should and she have learned that there are things that go wrong that don't always get fixed.
Thinking about all of this tithi falled asleep.
