I see this every day when I get up. Why? Me and my friends have superpowers. Some of the only few in this generation.

Me? I can fly. Emily can speak any language on Earth perfectly. Dawson can turn invisible. Hannah can speak to animals. Trevor is a shapeshifter.

Sounds great, doesn't it?

If you thought yes, you're wrong. Because of our abilities, we are poked and prodded all day, every day. The government wants to see what we can do, and whether or not we can harm people.

It isn't fun.

We also have enemies.

Sapphire. She can read minds.

So yeah. Not so fun.
