Your POV

Today was the day that I dreaded the most. Family reunion. Most people have fun at those, but me being a teenager, I hated it. Mom had asked me to invite Zach, my boyfriend, so that my family can meet him. I was kinda hesitant to ask him, but when I did he seemed happy that he was going to meet my family. I, on the other hand, was nervous as hell. My family isn't exactly normal. Of course no families are, but when bringing someone new to meet my family, well that's a different story. All of the older aunts and uncles act like drunk friends most of the time. Most of my younger cousins always ask to play on my phone, then end up breaking it, so then I have to buy a new one. The only person I really missed was my cousin (Y/C/N). I walked up to Zach's front door in my teal blue dress and knocked on the door. It was opened by the beautiful Myta.

"Hey" she said, immediately wrapping her arms around me in a hug.

"Here, come inside. Zach's almost finished" I nodded. We walked to the kitchen where I saw Reese sitting at the island. She turned, hearing footsteps, and her eyes widened upon seeing me.

"(Y/N)!" She shouted, jumping out of her chair and running up to me.

"How's my lil munchkin?" I asked as I was hugging her.

"Good" she said.

"Hey I need to go check on Zach, ok?" She nodded and let go. I walked upstairs to Zach's room and saw that the door was closed. I walked closer and heard grumbling from inside. I knocked on the door, gently.

"Who is it?" I heard him ask.

"It's me, love" I heard shuffling, then the door opened. I looked at his outfit.

"Do you need help, love?" I asked, looking up at him. He nodded and look down sadly. I gently kissed his cheek.

"It's ok, sometimes it's good to have help" I said. He looked up and I looked at his outfit again.

"Ok so these pants don't match, we're gonna have to find something else" I walked over to his closet and looked through his pants. I smiled and took a nice pair of black pants out. I handed the pants to Zach.

"Here you are, change into these" I said, then turned to find him some shoes, which he didn't have yet. Once I had the shoes, I turned to see Zach putting on the pants I gave him.

"Oh my god Zach, you weren't supposed to change in here, that's what the bathroom is for" I said to him as he just laughed.

"It's just you, babe" I rolled my eyes as he pulled up the black pants. I gave him the shoes I picked out and sat down on his bed as he put them on. He walked over and stood in front of his full length mirror and fixed his hair. I got up and walked over to him, wrapping my arms around his middle. I leaned my head onto his back, feeling every movement that he made. He stopped, putting his hands onto mine. He turned causing me to lift my head. He stared into my eyes and I looked back at his.

"Hey" He said smiling.

"Hi" I replied. He leaned down slowly, I leaned up. His lips were about to meet mine, but a knock on the door made us stop.

"Guys it's time for you to go or you're gonna be late" I heard his mom say.

"Thanks mom you ruined a moment" he said under his breath. I smiled at him and gently pecked his lips.

"Let's get going, we don't wanna keep them waiting" I grabbed his hand and pulled him downstairs. I went outside to my car and unlocked it. Zach ran past me grabbing my car keys.

"I call driving" he said sitting in the driver seat. I rolled me eyes.

"You don't even know where we're going" he looked at me and crawled over the middle of the car and sat down in the passenger seat.

"Really Zach?" I said, laughing.

"You call driving" is all he said. I just laughed and walked around to the driver seat. I sat down and started the car. After about thirty minutes we arrived at a barn and saw a lot of cars. I parked and turned the car off.

"Well here we are" I said, then sighed.

"Are you ok?" I looked at Zach.

"I'm just nervous about you meeting my family" he smiled and hugged me. He kissed my forehead, then placed his chin on top of my head.

"Don't worry, I bet they're great" I pulled away.

"Wait until you meet Uncle John and Aunt Betty" he raised an eyebrow in confusion. I opened the door and got out. Zach got out as well and I locked the car. We walked into the open barn together and I saw my mom. I walked up to her, while holding Zach's hand.

"Hey mom" mom turned around and saw me and Zach.

"Hey bug" she hugged me, then Zach. I looked around, scanning to see who all was there. I saw Aunt Betty walking towards us. I leaned towards Zach and whispered into his ear.

"Aunt Betty at 3 o'clock" he looked up and saw her as well. She stood in front of me.

"(Y/N) it's so good to see you again" she said, hugging me. She pulled away and put her hands on my shoulders.

"Oh my. Look at how you've grown" she stated. She then looked at Zach.

"And who is this?" She asked.

"This is Zach, my boyfriend" she stared at me.

"Boyfriend? Now dear, what've I told you about boys?" She asked. I looked at Zach then back at her.

"Boys are for making babies only, and my dear child, you are too young for that" my face turned red and I looked down.

"Aunt Betty, we don't have babies" I said, a little over a whisper. I looked up, seeing her giving me a look.

"What?"

"Are you sure? My dear you look pregnant" she said. I blushed again, looking at Zach for help.

"Ma'am, we don't have any kids and she's not pregnant" she raised a brow.

"Are you sure?" She asked again.

"Yes ma'am, I , of all people, should know" she still gave him a look.

"Ok, if you say so" she said then walked away. I turned to him.

"See I told you" he smiled and laughed.

"You should've seen your face. You were so red" he teased.

"Shut up"

"Make me" I gently kissed his lips then pulled away. I smiled at him, then turned as people continued to chatter, wondering when we could go home.
