My heart flutters
As he stutters
And mutters

I squeal in bliss
And lean up to kiss

I reply, hugging him
He stiffens but
Then squeezes in

He whispers in my ears
Sending shivers
Down my spine, my eyes fill with tears.

" I Love You "

I say again, hoping it'll never change
This is what we were meant for
This was never out of range

" I Love You "

He chuckles, tucking my hair
Off my face
And pulls me in for an embrace.
