Blossom's P.O.V

 I woke up feeling weird, I wasn't sad or depressed but I wasn't happy either. Remembered what happened last night and my face turned red. I walked down stair and my dad was reading a newspaper. I made my way past him, as usual he refused to talk, to even look at me. Then something played back in my mind.

Short flashback~ 

After I smiled trying to lighten up the mood. My father slapped me.

"Don't you dare you her smile"  He yelled.

End of flashback~

Now I remember, I haven't smiled since. My father hates me, I remember all the times I use to cry. Now I don't show any emotion, he won't care if I did anyway. I walked back up stair and went to take a shower. If I were to smile my father would be angry, maybe I should try. 

"I promise, I'll make you smile" Brick popped into my head.

He does hate me, He hasn't ever judged me. As I got dressed, I looked into the mirror. I hadn't seen myself in two years. I was a little shocked, I looked like a normal teenage girl. I looked a little different from before, I still wore the same red bow as before. It was like a treasure, cause it was the first thing my mom ever bought for me. I tried to smile but it still didn't work. I took of my bow and placed it on my bed. I place Brick hat on my head, I've always want to wear his hat. I always be protective of my bow and Brick was the same way with hat so I never thought he would let me wear it. I put on my sweater and walked back down stairs. I took one more look at my dad and sighed. I walked out the door and down the street. I order a egg and bacon sandwich. Then Kaoru who just got her license came and picked me up. Miyako was also in the car. 

"Let go to the park after school" Kaoru stated.

"Sure, I have time" Miyako stated

"Um... I... I wanna come too " I stated as we reached school.

We all came out the car.

"Sorry Momoko, I didn't hear you, can you repeat that" Kaoru stated confused.

"I... I... I want to go to the park with you guys" I said a little louder.

Then I realized how selfish I sound and looked down at my feet. Then to my surprise they both hugged me.

"Momoko of course you can come" Miyako stated.

"Yeah, we really missed hang out with you should know how happy it make us to know you want to hang out with us" Kaoru stated smiling.

Then I realized how much of a bad friend I have been lately. I thought I was a nuisance so I avoided doing anything with them. However avoiding doing stuff with them much of hurt them. I hugged them tightly.

"I...I... I'm sorry" I said holding back the tears.

Time skip~ To the park! 

"Momoko, Kaoru let dance together" Miyako stated smiling.

"What kind of dance?" I asked Miyako,

"The dance that we did for does kids in the park 3 years ago" Miyako stated.

We both nodded and got in to position. We started to dance.

When we stopped a bunch on people were watch clapped and cheered. I looked around, there were a lot of people. Then I saw Brick make his way over her.

"Pinky, never knew you could dance like that" Brick said smirking.

I blushed and looked away. I felt really happy but I still didn't smile yet, however after meeting Brick I believe I'm be able to. He has given me hope, something I didn't believe was possible for someone like me.

"Brick, t... t... thank you" I said turning to look at him.

He smiled and flicked my forehead. I looked at him confused and he smiled.

"I haven't do anything yet" Brick stated laughing.

I looked at him. Brick, you might not know this but you have done more for me than you think. I feel like I can change. Change into a better person, I can learn to love myself and everyone around me again. I looked up at the sky, and I let out a tiny grin.

"You one step closer to smiling Pinky, I wasn't the biggest but it progress" Brick stated.

I nodded and walked back over to Miyako and Kaoru. They were really happy.
