Hamaya's POV:

~{9 months later}~

When we woke up Snowdrift was so tall that I thought he wouldn't be able to get through the door. I actually had to let him out by the terrace door since it was a double door and my bedroom door was only a single door. When we were walking to Delilah's office window by the outside route some of the staff members were a little scared, okay a lot scared. But hey can you blame them, Snowdrift was getting a little too big to stay in my room. When we got to Delilah's office window Snowdrift gave me a boost so that I could knock at her window and talk with her. When she opened the window I glared at her already knowing what she was going to say. "I know, he's getting big and he needs to go to the paddock. They aren't finished building the walls high enough." I said before she could say anything. "They can finish the wall height as he grows. So take him to the paddock." She commanded as Snowdrift growled at her. Snowdrift didn't let me down as he began walking with Amethyst and Victera following close behind. After a while, we were at the paddock. "Snowdrift, you can put me down now." I said earning a growl in response. "I'm not going to leave you. You can put me down." I said as I kissed his head. Snowdrift reluctantly let me down. As soon as my feet hit the ground Snowdrift had his tail wrapped around my waist and he pulled me closer to him away from the wall of his new paddock. "What are-" I started to say until a stone block fell to the ground right where I was standing just moments before. After that I stayed as close as possible to Snowdrift for 2 reasons, reason 1; He would pull me closer to him if he couldn't feel my hand against him, and reason 2; I didn't want to get hurt by any falling equipment or supplies. Besides, I think he just doesn't want to be on his own yet. After we walked around the outside of the entire paddock I took Snowdrift inside of it. I made Amethyst and Victera stay out much to their displeasure.

~{time skip}~

"Hamaya! You need to come out now, it's almost dark and you've been out here all day." I looked up and saw that Claire was the one that yelled down to me from the paddock wall. Snowdrift let out a small sound of sadness as he pulled me closer with his tail. "It's okay Snowdrift, I'll come back tomorrow to see you." I said as I patted his neck. I started to walk away when I heard Claire scream, "Hamaya run!" I could hear the panic in her voice. I looked back at Snowdrift and saw that he was standing over me. He rubbed his head against me and nudged my stomach then laid down in front of me and pushed me over to his back. I sighed. "Fine, but just one night. Now let me go get some things and I'll be back soon." I said sternly putting emphasis on one. He wagged his tail slightly and let me leave.

~{time skip}~

I was back inside the paddock with Snowdrift after getting a few things. "See, I told you I would be back." I said as I let Amethyst and Victera come in with me this time. Snowdrift stood over me and made a purring sound as I found a good place to set myself up for the night. I sat down on the sleeping bag I had brought. I was shocked when Snowdrift stood over me and licked me from above. I giggled when Victera jumped at Snowdrift to get him to stop as Amethyst stood beside me protectively. I got up and cautiously walked towards them when we all heard Claire yell down to me, "Hamaya! Are you crazy! Get out of there now!"

"I'll be fine Claire." I replied as I stepped in between Snowdrift and Victera. I held my hands out towards them as I slowly got down on my knees. Snowdrift laid down on my right as Victera did the same on my left. I was silent as Snowdrift slowly pulled me towards him while growling at Victera. I saw Claire tense when Snowdrift had me against his chest. I knew he was protective of me. I slowly stood up and leaned against Snowdrift as he wrapped his tail around my waist.

Snowdrift's POV:

After I wrapped my tail around Hamaya's waist I couldn't understand why Victera started growling at me. I continued to growl as I slowly stood up to my full height growling back at her.

"Snowdrift, you shouldn't try to own Hamaya. Victera, you know Hamaya can handle herself." Amethyst said to us in our language that humans don't understand.

I used my tail to lift Hamaya onto my back when Victera tried to push Hamaya away from me.
