A lot of people misunderstand how Christianity works. Many people who don't believe in it think that you need to worship God every minute of your life. This is a common misconception. God doesn't want to control you, he wants you to show that you are thankful for what he has done in your life. Now please don't take this the wrong way, you do need to thank him and glorify him, but you need God at the top of your priority list. I'll be honest, there are a LOT of moments I don't have him at the top. But the reason we can't have him always at the top is because we are human. We can't be perfect. This doesn't mean you can sin over and over, with God always forgiving you. You need to try not to always make these mistakes. That is part of what being a Christian is about. Trying to impersionate Jesus' undying love, forgiveness, and selfless attitude.

One thing you can ask yourself whenever you are in a tough situation is "what would Jesus do?". This will help you figure out what the right thing to do is. For example, if you were coming home from school and decided to choose between fortnite gaming in tilted even though you are garbage or finishing your homework and doing chores. What would Jesus do? He would probably complete his work early for free time later.

When you pray today, ask God to help you be like Jesus, to help you become more kind to that person who bothers you, or to thank the teacher you hate for giving you the test. These small things can turn into habits and show that Jesus really makes a difference in your life.
