Dream Pov

After seeing nightmare at the bar, I would have to be very protective and alert.I can't let Cross know anything about me.I have lots of other lovers of course but he seemed special.  I plan on making nightmare even more furious as revenge .I know he loved Cross but he was to much of a brute to show it, nonetheless, confess.

I write this down on my journal as I heard cross come up to the door.

"Dream, I'm hungry and I only know how to make pancakes .Theres nothing in the fridge aswell"

 "do you want me to go to the store, Dream?"

"No, it's fine I'll go "

"thank you so much Dream!"

"No problem cross!"

After Dream left I saw a book on his desk.I walked over and read it

Nightmare would tell me everything about himself, while dream said nothing .

"Besides, friends are always truthful!"

That was what he told me .I would ask later.

"Yes..."

"you know everything right? Why do people hate me?"

" I...sigh, Cross, I love you, don't worry, I am the guardian of the Dreams. I know what you like, wish and want.You wanted a lover, so here I am for you.People hate you because they don't know who you are .They don't know that you are good and kind."

"Just how people misunderstood Nightmare? He is kind. He just was scared of being heartbroken so he tried to be mean.I think he actually Loved me !"

At the sound of nightmare's name, he turned furious.He turned around and yelled at me.I felt tears slowly fall.

"DONT YOU EVER DARE SAY HIS NAME IN MY HOUSE! HE IS NOT  KIND OR NICE."

"I-Im s-sorry"

"Ugh, it's fine. I'm sorry too.I just want to protect you "

"R-really?"

"Of course "

"Oh, Dream! I got a job so I can take you out for dinner!"

"Haha, aww" 

I was lurking in the shadows.
