Lucy's (POV)

I got moved into Natsu's house fairly quick. Lately I've been feeling alittle nervous.

He and I share everything. The kitchen, the bathroom... The bed.

It's just alittle awkward. To be honest I'm confused. I have no idea what to do anymore.

Natsu seems so happy and comfortable and here I am.

As my thoughts disappeared I felt arms drape over my shoulders and I heard a sigh.

"Would you relax already." Natsu spoke.

"What do you mean?"

"You can't hide it Luce. I can sense your uneasiness." He climbed over the back of the couch and plopped down next to me.

"Spill."

"I just don't know what comes next. We live together... We share things... But what now?"

"We get married, duh. Did you forget that ring on your finger?"

"No I didn't but. There has to be something missing, right? Why do i feel like we should be doing something?"

Natsu looked like he was doing some heavy thinking and his eyes snapped to mine and he smiled.

"How about... Tonight you and I go out. We've never really been on a date have we?" He said sounding alittle nervous.

"A date?"

THAT'S IT!!!

"A DATE I'D LOVE TO!"

Natsu flinched at my high pitched chirp.

"Sorry."

"No it's good. I like that you're excited."

Natsu stood up and he stood right infront of me. He got down on his knees so that his face was at the same level as mine.

"Can't wait." Natsu leaned in for a kiss and I let him in fully.

This guy drives me insane and I don't know why. There is no way to describe it and it just... It is amazing.

I could think about nothing except for our date.

It's almost sunset and Natsu said to be ready by this time. Just as I was letting my mind run wild I hear a knock at the window.

I couldn't help but smile and the familiar dragon slayer clinging to the window pane.

"You can't use a door?" I joked opening the window.

Natsu leaned in and kissed me. He pulled away a smile on his face. "You know that's not how I roll."

Natsu crawled through the window and he gave me a hug. "You ready?" He asked.

"Yeah, so where are we going?" I asked.

"If I tell yah... It'll be less awesome." He replied.

I was dragged out the house and into the woods. It seems like we've been walking forever then Natsu stops.

"Close your eyes and keep them closed." He spoke.

Before I could question it, I was swept off my feet and into his arms.

"Just do it." He added.

I did as told and shut my eyes tightly. Natsu started to move. He was running and then he jumped.

He put me down and I felt flat ground.

"You can open your eyes now." He sounded out of breath.

I opened my eyes and the first thing I did was look down.

'We are in a tree.'

I turned around and I couldn't believe it.

"Before I was able to by the house... I use to live here... Happy and I built it." Natsu said walking into the tree house.

"It's amazing." I spoke.

"Come on." He shouted from the inside.

I entered through the kid sized door and took in the walls and contents of the house.

My eyes located Natsu... He was sitting on a blanket with a picnic basket next to him.

"A picnic?"

"I promise I didn't cook the food. Mira helped with that." Natsu scratched the back of his neck. "I had her make your usual."

I joined Natsu on the blanket and took of my shoes.

"Thank you."

I opened the basket and we started to dig in. With in ten minutes Natsu was already done and I was still going strong.

"Hey, Luce... Can I ask you something?" Natsu asked breaking the silence between us.

I swallowed the food in my mouth and cleared my throat. "Yeah, of course."

"Well I was just wondering... Lately things have been weird." He stated. "Do you still love me?" He asked.

I swallowed the food in my mouth and started to choke. I drank some water and I could breathe again.

"I'm sorry, what?" I stuttered.

"Well it's just... Lately you don't talk to me or you know kiss me... I just thought that maybe you didnt..."

"Ok... I'll admit. I've been avoiding you but only because I'm just not use to being in a couple. I'm use to being by myself. And all this is new to me. It's scary almost." I confessed.

"I get it I'm kinda on the same boat here." Natsu sighed. "Even though we've known each other for quite some time now... I feel like I still don't know much about you." He added.

"Well what do you want yo know?"

"Everything." He answered.

"Boy, are we going to be here for a while."

So for hours Natsu and I talked. I found out that Natsu enjoys reading manga. His favorite is acctually pretty intresting. It's about a boy named Haru and he has a pet dog that looks an awful lot like plue. Maybe the author was a celestial wizard and had a pet nikola of their own.

I was surprised that we were talking so long... The sun went down and it was dark out.

"We best get going, huh?" I stated.

"Well I thought that maybe we could stay here for the night." Natsu cleared his throat.

"Oh." I started to feel a little nervous.

"Not th... I didn't mean... I just mean because it's dark and we could..." Natsu's cheeks turned pink and he was stuttering like a child learning to read.

"Calm down, I get it."

We couldn't even look at each other we were both so embarassed.

Natsu fixed up the blanket and he laid down. I laid next to him and he wrapped his arms around my waist. It was awkward at first but we eventually melted into it.

He was so warm and... I looked to where my hand was touching and I noticed it was directly on his toned abs.

I felt the muscles and it was intresting. I started to trace the lines of his abs and he smiled.

"That tickles." He peeked open his eyes and they caught mine.

"Want me to stop?"

"No... I like it." He kissed me on my forehead and then he was down for the count.

It wasn't long till I too was swept off into dream land.

Wow it's been forever. I kinda have been working on some original works so I apologize for taking so long to update.
