Natsu's (POV)

Lucy and I walked to the guild she said that lots of things changed. I didn't think she meant this much.

Gray has a son and is married to Juvia... Erza is married... Levy and Gajeel... Lisanna and Bixlow.

"So when did you..." Gray gestured to me and he looked puzzled. "We all thought you were dead."

"Not dead, just waiting." I said looking over to Lucy.

"Well it's about damn time. We all have been waiting on you two idiots." Gajeel puffed.

"Yeah out of all of us we all thought you two would've been the first to get hitched. Technically if it weren't for that war you guys probably would've been the first." Gray remarked.

"I don't care if we are first or last. After all I didn't really propose to her all that well. It was more of an out on a whim agreement."

"A what? Hold up you didn't actually ask her?" Macao asked.

"No I did, but it was more like an agreement then the traditional proposal." I replied.

"Leave it to Natsu. To make an agreement. Jesus, did you atleast get her the ring?" Gajeel asked.

"Of course I did... She just left before I could give it to her."

"So let me get this straight. You had a ring and yet you asked her without the ring, during a war, in which she ran away during the war, then you were frozen in a lacrima, only for her to break it, and then you two just picked back up where you left off?" Wakaba asked.

"Well..."

"Now thats love at its finest." Makao chuckled.

I looked at Lucy and she was holding Grays son. She looks so beautiful. Its like no time has passed.

"Did you do the deed atleast one time before she left." Wakaba joked.

"Shut up." I spoke rolling my eyes. "Not every relationship is about getting some."

"Mine is..." Wakaba said in a low volume.

I stood up and walked over to Lucy.

"Hey Natsu." She smiled.

"Luce, lets go... Gotta take you to get some new clothes."

"What's wrong with the clothes she has now?" Erza asked.

"Funny thing... Natsu doesn't like my outfits. He thinks guys are checking me out all the time." Lucy giggled.

"Lucy?"

"Alright, I hear yah let me use the bathroom before we go."

"Six minutes." I commanded.

"Aye sir!" She said waving her hand.

"Wow, you two surely have changed." Levy giggled.

"Remember when they use to get at each others throats." Lisanna smirked.

"Ah yes he use to tease her for being fat and she teased him for being dumb." Mira added in.

"Alright how about you talk about us when neither of us are here." I said alittle irritated.

"Oh trust me, we will." Erza smiled.

"Great, you too?"

"Alright Natsu, lets roll out." Lucy said patting me on the back.

"Gladly, bye girls." I said waving.

"Bye!" They chimed in unison.

"They seemed cheery what did they talk about while I was gone?" Lucy asked.

"The past us..."

After three hours of shopping We returned to Lucys apartment. Lucy took all of her bags into her room and I sat down on the couch.

"Natsu, when do you want to move me in?" She shouted from the other room.

"We can start now." I replied.

"After all that shopping you really want to move stuff?" She asked joining me on the couch.

"Yeah, sooner the better. It's not like you have allot anyway. You have more  clothes than anything and most of thats going anyway."

"Hey leave my wardrobe out of this." She said punching me in the shoulder.

"Luce... Lets get going. I want go get this done and when we do I have something I want to give you."

"Okay lets go! Only four more hours till sundown. We can so do this!"

Lucy and I packed majority of her stuff and with the help of Happy and Carla we were able to move it all to the house. Lucy and I were carrying the last of the boxes back home.

"Hey, Natsu?"

"Yeah?"

"You know I love you, right?" She asked.

"Yeah. Luce where is this coming from?" I asked.

"Well you've said it to me but I never really say it to you so I just wanted to..."

"I love you too Luce." I said cutting her off.

She's so cute. I'm resisting the urge to drop all this crap and kiss her.

Lucy's (POV)

Natsu opened the door for me and I set the box I was holding, down. I turned and Natsu's lips were on mine. He kissed me softly and slowly. I closed my eyes in the kiss humming in satisfaction.

Natsu pulled away and he kissed my forehead. He then rested his forehead against mine. Looking deeply into his eyes I couldn't help but smile.

"What was that for?" I asked.

"That... Was something I've been wanting to do all day." He smiled. "Oh, right stay right here and... Close your eyes." He said walking away.

I did as told and I closed my eyes. A few moments later I felt his lips on mine this kiss more passionate then all the kisses before. His fingers entwined with mine and he wrapped his free arm around my waist pulling me closer.

We both pulled away panting, both of us trying to catch our breaths.

"Was that what you wanted to give me? It was lovely."

"That wasn't it... this was." Natsu said holding up my hand that was entwined with his.

I looked at my hand and saw a beautiful sight.

"Natsu it's..."

"I know it's really late but..."

"It's beautiful thank you." I said crushing him in a hug.

"Now there's really no going back." She chuckled.

"Who said I ever wanted to go back? Natsu I love you."

"Love you too Luce... Alright lets get you moved in." He said with a smile.

"Yeah."

Every chance I got I looked at my ring. Its so beautiful. But it isn't the ring I think about, it's Natsu.

I know that with Natsu by my side my future is clearer than ever before.
