Three years, and three kids later, Alex and Eliza are happily married, living in Manhattan with their three children Philip, Angelica and Alexander Jr.

Alexander had been so obsessed with work, that he's neglected time for himself and for his family.

Naturally, as the loving and caring wife Eliza is, she was going to try to get her husband to take a break he oh so deserved.

"Alexander, come downstairs. Dinner is ready and the children are waiting." Eliza said as she entered her husbands office.

Alexander just waved his hand, feverishly writing as usual.

Eliza took a deep breath and walked over to him, wrapping her arms around his neck, letting them loosely hang by his chest.

"Alexander."

"Eliza, I'm busy, what don't you understand?"

Eliza shook her head.

"I understand that you've been working non stop since our first born. And you're burnt out. You're sick and won't see a doctor, you've hardly been eating, the kids miss you." Eliza said, basically pleading for Alex to come downstairs.

"You've hardly spent anytime with AJ since he's been born. Did you know he's four months old today? You probably didn't." Eliza said, rolling her eyes and walking away.

"Come downstairs before your dinner gets cold and I feed it to the dog."

Begrudgingly, Alexander set down his pen and headed downstairs to the dinner table to join his family.

"Look kids, your father is joining us." Eliza said, still annoyed with Alexander.

The children stayed quiet, sensing something was up between their parents.

"Oh, and I'm taking the children upstate for a bit to see my family. You're welcome to join." Eliza said, feeding AJ as Philip and Angelica ate.

All Alexander did was nod, not being a man of many  words at the moment.

"I encourage you to come. Please."

Alexander nodded "okay."

A victory? Finally? Eliza thought to herself.

Hopefully he'll listen more often.
