Morning, I was at work after driving Dalton to school, I had an important meeting to head to, but on my way going to the conference room, mom sends me a message.
"Aaron's at Dalton's school,".
The message reads_ the feeling of having both of them together freaked me out, I had to excuse myself from the meeting, and thank God, my boss Mr. Ian has always been able to understand me...
I ran to Dalton's school, in a cab of cause.
As I walked inside the school premises, I met Dalton's class teacher, Mrs. Susan didn't allow me to speak, she directed me to the principal's office...

Instantly I ran past her heading to the principal's office, Mr. Jake.
I barged into his office, without knocking.
"Miss Samantha, is everything okay,?_.
He looks as I walked towards my son whose hands were resting on Aaron's shoulders.
"I am fine,".
I said taking Dalton away from his father.
Aaron's face changed, as he looks at me.
"Samantha, what is wrong with you,?".
He tells.
Although I heard what he said, I was too busy trying to conceal him from getting too close to my son.
I held Dalton's bags from mom and angrily left the principal's office.
Outside, mom met us waiting in the car for her, she's lucky, I wouldn't have minded leaving her at school, after this stunt she pulled, I can't possibly think of further away she's going to use to make my life a complete disaster.

I love my mom, but sometimes I wish I could just push her off a tall Cliff_ because she's making me miserable.

When the car starts to move, Aaron comes out, he sees us going and waved, not to me but to Dalton who immediately waved right back, grinning with a huge smile.

Indeed he is getting too fond of Aaron,
And I don't like it.

We got home after some hours.
Dalton ran to the room, I waited for him to go further before reprimanding mom for her behavior.
She however proved that whatever she is doing was for Dalton's happiness.

What happiness?

Because if it is a fact that, my son wants a dad, I will give him one, but under no circumstances should Aaron be given the right to be his dad, even though he might be his biological father...

Evening. I had forgotten, that Aaron was invited home for dinner.

Mom didn't bother to remind me again.
I came out to meet him seated right beside my mom.

Dalton comes down from his bedroom. He sees Aaron and got so happy.

"Good evening Samantha,"
Aaron removed his Jacket, looking at me.

Dalton walks ahead, he takes Aaron's jacket, volunteering to keep it in the closet.

Mom walks out of the kitchen as we both met each other gaze.
She saw me frowning and grinned right back.
On the other hand, Dalton went to sit down next to Aaron.
He smiles, wiggling his eyebrows at him...

After we had our not-so-quiet dinner.
I thought about tucking Dalton to sleep, rather he suggested to him Aaron do that instead of me.

Wow.

Mom immediately accepted.
She walks Dalton's hand away from mine and gently had her grandson follow Aaron up to his bedroom.

I should be mad. I was mad, and when I attempted to walk after them, mom just held unto my hands and warned me.

"Don't you dare interrupt them,".. she hits her eyes angrily at me, before walking back to the kitchen?

Aaron spent close to two hours In there.
Later, they both came out holding hands. Dalton walks Aaron to his car.
I watched from afar and noticed the chemistry they both had, the connection between them.
Seeing that, almost made me feel bad for hiding the truth for so many years.

Dalton walks back inside happy when Aaron left.
He thanked me for allowing Aaron to come home for dinner.

Mom comes in after Dalton left. She wished for me not to continue keeping the news from Aaron.

I however ignored her and left.

I don't like the fact that I am hiding such news from them.
However, my reasons for not telling Aaron the truth, aren't the fact that he left me and got married to someone else.
Nor the fact that his parents also pushed me away, the reason is that, on that very day I went to see Aaron's parents, to at least convince them not to get their son married to someone else.
Yet I was still humiliated by them, Aaron's fiancee, Elena, visited me on my way home, and she almost knocked me down with her car.
Elena made me promise that Aaron will never know about his son because if I dare do that, my life, as well as my son's life, will be in danger.
I am not someone who acts on threats, however, Elena meant every word she said.
Aaron has no idea who he is married to......
