The War

Zane the Pale Ice Ninja leaned on the wall of The Library while his arms where folded looking out for his friend as he was standing beside the window.

Incase The Mistress of Water does anything over the roof. He would be there to guide her.

Nya sat on one of the Library Tables of Tesla's Castle absentmindedly staring to space.

She hasn't eaten for awhile now and it's making her friends worry. Her mind is full of thoughts. Thoughts that made her confused, Angered and Sad. But mostly depress.

Cole, who was pretending that he was reading a book (That is actually upside down without realizing.) was also looking out for her because it was specifically someone's orders to be followed.

There was awkwardness in the room. Everyone was silent. On one of the many bookshelves. Harumi stayed hidden. She was also leaning on the wall with little light reflected on her only making the Mask on her belt visible mostly than her face.

Her eyes where closed thinking of her friend. They may have not talked that much but Nya and her both shared a lot in common.

Which made her have a deep connection with her so she knew and understood what her friend felt.

Losing a Love one was never easy.

Harumi straightened up. Her senses alert as she heard a chair dropping on the ground and wails. She quickly ran up to where it was and revealed herself with the others.

Zane was already by her side patting her back trying to comfort her.

Nya broke down crying.

Again.

She couldn't help but feel pity. Nya is still young comparing to her. Her level of maturity or her level of Emotional Control is still softer than Harumi's level.

"It's alright. Let it all out.." Cole wrapped his arms around Nya as Harumi watched.

She slightly showed a genuine smile at the three.

She knew that their bonds where stronger than anything and no man can break that.

Meanwhile..

Third POV
Kai along with his patrol where walking for hours. Using the Twilight forest. So they can Navigate where they would be going.

The other elemental masters walked along side with him as they where heading for a surprise ambush. Tesla's Soldiers where in there posts waiting for orders to attack.

There was the patrol about a hundred of Tesla's army walking along side with Kai for the Ambush as the other eight hundred was going upfront to the entrance of Ninjago lead by the one and Only Rightful crowned prince.

Lloyd.

He was freed from Moro's grasp after A Man Older from his age sacrificed himself for the Master of Energy to ran away.

Morro was aware of it that sooner than later. His younger brother would join his little group of elemental friends.

He was also aware that there will be war between kingdoms. He also knew the surprise attacks that would happen thanks to the Sword that can see the future in his grasp.

"My King, an Army of Tesla is coming from the North Gates of the castle about two kilometers should we confront their attack?"

A follower of him asked. Mainly the archer. Morro stood up from his throne. Looking at the Castle's throne room he smiled menacingly at the sight of its gloomy aura.

It had no longer the welcoming one.

"Wait for me. For the Sword of the Future tells that a Boy leads the army. This will be a battle between brothers." He smirked.

Lloyd on the other hand was with Zane. They where on top of their horses. The two of them lead the army while Cole was on their side. Harumi and Nya where nowhere but stayed in the castle of Tesla.

"Are you sure it is a good idea to leave Nya behind?" Lloyd asked frowning at Zane.

Zane showed him a small smile and ruffled his hair as if Lloyd was still a little kid.

"For now. Worry about facing your brother. Nya Will be fine.." Zane told him assuring Lloyd as he turned back his focus to the Road once again.

"I trust your plan Zane.. but if something backfires.. I won't hesitate to go back to her and plead." He mumbled but no to his luck the Master of Ice heard everything.

"Would you also include a confession to someone too?" Zane jokingly said. For the first time he had humor but Lloyd ignored it.

"Yes, If its even the last thing I do." Lloyd raised his head up with a genuine smile.

"If it's the Last thing I do."

The Master of energy was serious. He looked up to the sky as if he was trying to reach someone.

"Attack!!!" Lloyd flinched from his longing as Zane stopped his horse while Cole signaled for the Army behind him to stop.

"How?" Cole asked turning his head towards Zane.

Cliff, The King of Tesla who's beside Cole looked afar.

Approximately about eight hundred meters away from them a Large army of Spirits where running towards them with different kinds of weapons raised while having a War Cry.

Some Tesla's shoulders where shaking.

Lloyd turned to them as if it was his army.

"King Cliff, May you give me a chance to lead on behalf of my teammate and friend?" He asked the King. Cliff nodded solemnly remembering his son.

Lloyd bowed at the king and thanked him.

"Everyone I want you to all listen!" He yelled. The soldiers that could hear him passed every word he said to the end.

"This is a Battle not only between Kingdoms but between yourselves! This is also a battle for those you love who passed in the hands of the wretched Ghost King! THIS IS A FIGHT FOR OUR LOVED ONES THAT PASSED WE WILL AVENGE THEM AS WE LOOK FOR FREEDOM! RAISE YOUR SPEARS, SWORDS, AND BOWS! Be on your guard! I don't want anyone dying on me!" Lloyd announced.

The Army of Soldiers responded with a war cry.

"Its an Order!" Cole yelled.

Lloyd turned back to the front seeing Zane was smiling at him the whole time.

"What?" The Master of Energy asked. Zane focused his attention back to the present battlefield.

"I just never thought I'd see the day you'll be acting like a true Leader. And instead of Nya facing her destiny, It's you who faces your brother." Zane's tone sounded sad.

"You are truly a King, Your Majesty." Zane said looking back at Lloyd who was having a serious look on his face.

A small smile showed slowly.

"I have to. It's for my future Kingdom and A fiancée that will be my wife later on." He smiled. Looking at Zane as his Younger self appeared like a Flash on Zane's vision having the same smile.

You may have grown but your smiles don't change.

"On your Combat Stance!" Lloyd raises his sword slowly as The Tesla soldiers whom where archers steadily aimed for the front upcoming spirits.

Cole Turned to Zane with a worried look in his face.

"Zane, What about their immunity through solid things?" Cole stared horrified as Zane opened his once silver eyes to Icy blue ones.

"And That's where the tears of The Master of Water comes in." The Clear Sky soon fell into Cloudy darkness. Thunder growled through the skies as it started to downpour.

It was raining.

Cole looked at the Skies. Clear Water was falling. It was as if tears. He later turned to Zane who was holding up a pulsing blue crystal.

"W-What?" Confused The Master of Earth looked at the Mountains. And from his strong sense of smell. Within a Kilometer of his radius. His sensitive nose caught all up with different smells. Many that had hurt it that he wished he dint do so but..

He quickly caught the scent of someone familiar.

Lotus Flowers for some reason. His eyes looked up the sky.

A beam of White light had appeared on top of the mountain. Making some warriors in the battlefield look up as a Symbol of a Phoenix had appeared.

Soon, from that symbol. A Phoenix no other than the size of a Full grown dragon flew down from the skies. It was heading South.

"That Enchantress." Cole stared at the sky breathlessly.

"It's our time to go Cole." Zane unsheathes his sword and raised it.

"Is there no turning back?" Cole asked turning his head back to his friend with a small sad smile.

Zane closed his eyes.

"I'm sorry but your son might have to wait for you to get home." Zane chuckles lightly as Cole's sad smile faltered to a happy one.

"Yeah, so let's get this over with for his future!" He beamed. Raising also his sword.

"Ninja..."

"GO!"

"Nya..?" Harumi knocked on the Mourning Master of Water's Room.

Nya sat on her bed alone with all the curtains closed.

Harumi had been worrying.

The two where supposed to follow to the war a little late. After the Phoenix was summoned, they where supposed to ambush Ninjago's Ghost King. Soon, She'd know that Zane would be worried.

The Blood red eyed Jade princess sighed deeply stressed.

She had been trying to calm herself due to Zane's plan. In frustration.

Why can't she just go to that war along with them and use her Oni Mask?

Let alone instead, Stay with the Master of Water who hadn't finished thinking of herself useless.

"Nya Please.. theres a war going on and they need us.." she tried to sound calm and soft. Pleading for the help of her.

Nobody answered yet the cold air. A few seconds had passed. Her palms balled into fists as She took out the Oni Mask wearing it and broke down the door, wide for her Oni form to Enter.

"Harumi, I told you.. I can't go." Nya finally spoke. Sounding raspy and on the verge of crying again.

"Look. I've been trying to convince you everything's fine. I trust you Nya. But Please, don't do this to me! To us. Stop being SELFISH! If you keep mourning or wasting your tears to a person. Who's already dead that won't come back while our friends are fighting for our dead ones I think that it would really help if you just stand up and try to fight!"

Nya's eyes soon opened wide. Harumi took off the Oni Mask. Tears had shown falling from her eyes.

"I've been trying to be strong for a long time Nya. When Zane told me about your destiny.. I've never been so glad again that I've found hope. I've found hope to avenge my parents! My people! My friends! I was once in your state! I was depressed. I didn't know what to do! But there was a huge difference between us!"

She ran up to her and hugged her tightly.

"You have friends by your side Nya.. You didn't lose everything." She dropped to her knees and started to cry. And dragged Nya along with her..

"I may sound Harsh.. but I hope that I made it clear that everyone here loves you and you have no idea how much they care for you."

Nya's POV

I have no words. I have no voice anymore. And so tears. Tears started falling stupidly again down my cheeks. Harumi's words struck me.

I am selfish.

I always cried. And I guess thats only what I did. I only kept crying. I thought of myself the weakest out of everyone. When I knew I had the destiny that Ninjago was under my hands for its safety.

I wasn't scared because I had everyone that was beside me to support and look out for me.

But when things took their downfall.The Mountain I was standing high up was soon a cliff.

Jay hated me, Everyone's expectations where too much for me, And the Destiny.

I was so down and when that confession about Jeremiah revealing the truth had hit me hard.

The cliff I was standing soon cracked and I fell.

And as soon as I thought I had lost everything.

I lost myself.

But when Harumi came up here.

The Cliff I thought I was falling in..

I was hanging on the edge of a Steep rock. My hands where slowly slipping, But a Snow haired friend had woken me to reality that there was no cliff.

"Than You... Harumi.." I thanked her softly. As she wiped her tears away.

"Glad that knocked some sense to you." She states bluntly as I snorted.

I guess I am facing my destiny.

Not Lloyd.
