"Well? I'm waiting." Jeffrey thinks he knows what's going on and is beyond pissed at his children.

Athena smirks at Chronos and Alana before turning to her father and saying, "We caught your whore of a wife and Chronos kissing."

"Chronos, why exactly is she sporting a hand print on her face that will likely bruise and a cut?" Jeffrey asks patiently, wanting both sides of the story before making any decisions, but he thinks he pretty much understands what happened with her words.

"Your bitch daughter was being disrespectful of Alana when I introduced her to them. Called her a whore and suggested that Alana was ugly. She was outraged that Alana is the one you chose."

Jeffrey hides well his anger at Chronos's words and so the two dhampir smirk even more at the other two thinking that Jeffrey will be angry at them.

"And Apollo, why does he sport a bruise on his cheek?"

"He called Alana a bitch."

"I see, I know that you both were warned ahead of time that I was married. I rather think it was the idea of me being married that brought you here rather than the idea of the fight we are preparing for. I will not tolerate you being so disrespectful to my wife. I will not have you being that disrespectful to me! You will obey my rules while you are in my house. Any further instances of disobedience will result in time with your uncle to teach you respect. I obviously failed to teach that to you effectively and so his far more harsh techniques might get through where my softer ones failed. Do you understand?" Jeffrey demands of his astonished children.

When they don't respond fast enough, he demands in a louder and more angry voice, "I said, do you understand?"

"Yes, father," they both reply shocked that he's being so hard on them.

"But what about the fact that uncle Chronos was fucking kissing her? Won't they get in trouble too?"

"Artemis, it's really none of your fucking business, but since you are so adamant in knowing I'll say this. Alana was a virgin when we got married and I told her that since she knew that I wasn't going to be faithful that she could have lovers as well. She has had besides myself just three other lovers. You've had more than that in just one night. Out of the two of you, you would be the whore, not her.

"As a matter of fact, I gave her two of her lovers myself." Jeffrey motions for Jay and Michael to join them. "Michael and Jay are both her human servants and are hands off. They also serve as her lovers when she requires it.

"As for Chronos, it was lovely when he joined us last night. I wasn't sure that Alana would allow it, but she did. I hope she will allow it again sometime."

Alana smiles, "Funny enough, Chronos asked me the same thing not too long ago."

Jeffrey smiles warmly at Alana before winking at her. "As for her being a nothing human, I believe those were your words?"  Jeffrey demands of his child and waits for her to answer.

"Yes, that's what I said," Artemis replies to her father's words.

"Alana is not a nothing human. See the marriage mark on myself and her?"

Once more Jeffrey waits for his daughter to answer. Reluctantly she does. "A normal human wouldn't be able to have a celestial marriage, you know that damn well, Artemis. Alana is in fact a supernatural human."

"Not possible, father. They were killed centuries ago. You even went to the burning of the last of them. You watched her burn." Apollo exclaims.

Jeffrey gives them both a smile and it wasn't a very nice one either. "Yes, interesting wasn't it? The fire burned so high and hot that it covered her and when it finished not even her bones were found. The fire didn't last long enough or burn hot enough to burn all the bones and yet, none were found.

"Alana, is in fact the great granddaughter, many times removed of the last leader of the supernatural humans."

"Yes, Jeffrey, who are these ill mannered people?" Clara asks coming to stand next to him.

"Unfortunately they are my children," Jeffrey says with distaste as he turns from his children to face her.

Once she reaches his side Jeffrey smiles a nasty smile and introduces her to his children.

"Apollo, Artemis, this is Clara. She is otherwise known as The Hag. You've heard of her, I know." Jeffrey says and watches their reaction with a great deal of anticipation.

Apollo goes white and looks like he's about to pass out. Athena looks like she's about to be sick. "It's not possible," Athena whispers in horror, unable to take her eyes off the most powerful supernatural human known.

Clara smirks at them both before speaking. "I can assure you that it is possible." Her words were like she was cooing.

"Clara, I would like to introduce you to my biological children, Apollo and Athena Artemis. They are the children of Persephone and myself."

Understanding lights up the Hags eyes as she looks at the two dhampir before her. "Yes, I do see her in them now that you mention it."

The Hag had been around when Jeffrey had gone after his first children. The news of vampires killing other vampires had spread throughout the supernatural community like wildfire. Clara had made it her mission to find out why. She had briefly met Persephone and Chronos when they traveled to a new city some years before her death.

She hadn't thought much of her then and thinks that Jeffrey was well rid of her, but does hurt at the pain she could see from losing his other children.

Clara looks over the children before her and sniffs. "Why did they bother to come? They won't be much help against the Prince."

At her words the two bridle, they are vicious fighters and enjoy going against the demon kin just like their father.

"I think that they came mostly to see Alana and hate on her directly."

With that Clara narrows her eyes on the two before her. Then she smiles nastily, "Well, they might find themselves biting off more than they can chew if they do. Alana is proving to be extremely powerful. I have substantial reasons to believe that she'll be stronger than me by the time she's fully trained in her powers. Speaking of which," Clara turns her focus to Jeffrey, "You haven't been learning how to harness your new abilities."

"I've taken what you've taught me and worked on it through out the day. I've also used techniques that helped me with my own powers. I might not be as good as you, but I'll be able to use them if I need to."

Jeffrey had never even taken his eyes off his children while speaking. They are shocked at his words. They had no idea that their father had new abilities. They hadn't realized that when he married that he would get Alana's power as well.

"Now, what to do about you two?" Jeffrey narrows his eyes at them then smiles. "Chronos, your afternoon class is about to start is it not?"

"Yes, father, it is."

"I think these two will be your examples when you need to demonstrate something to the other vampires. Don't take it easy."

Jeffrey turns to his attention back to his children, "Next time you insult Alana she has permission to kill you. If she doesn't wish to do so then she will be telling myself or Chronos and we'll deal with you. Actually, I think Chronos will be keeping an eye on you and keeping you both on a short leash."

The two blanch. They are more than a little aware of just what that will entail. They've seen their uncle discipline other vampires and never thought that they would feel that punishment, that their status as Persephone's children would save them from that.

Chronos smiles before speaking. "You both know that I loved your mother more than anything. For centuries she was the bar that I compared all others too. Alana, is the first one to make that bar. In fact she far surpasses it and leaves your mother behind. She is all that was good in your mother and none of the selfish bitch parts of her. Hate her if you must, but never disrespect her again or my punishments will be worse than what I did to my older vampire siblings."

With how white the two siblings became they more than understood just what he threatened and Chronos smiles nastily.

Alana finally decides to speak, "I know you don't like me. I don't blame you. I am not here to take your mother's place. I can't, I'm not her. I will never be her. I am me and I would like you to get to know me before you decide to hate me. That's all I ask, to not hate me before you know me."

"I never would have married your mother. I only made her my servant for Chronos's sake. Personally I would have left her to her fate, but Chronos needed to make sure that she was safe. So I kept her and regretted it many times before she finally died. Her death was far more devastating to Chronos than it was to me.

"I asked for Alana's consent in marriage. Even begged her at one point. She was more than willing to leave or even just become my mistress. She gave up everything to be my wife and I will make sure that she won't regret it any more than she already does.

"I wouldn't have much trouble killing you if you don't shape up."

"Jeffrey," Alana says in remonstrance.

Jeffrey just waves Chronos to take his children out of the room.

"Sorry you had to go through that, Alana." Jeffrey says even as Clara and Alana's servants leave the room as well.

Alana gives him a weak smile, "It had to happen sometime. It was too much to ask for them to fully accept me first thing. I'm taking their mother's place and that isn't something easy for them to see."

"No, you aren't. Their mother was my servant and at times my mistress. You are my wife and will forever have a higher spot with me then she ever did."
