Jeffrey gives her some time to absorbed the news that she'd been given. Then continues when she looks at him. "Since we had known each other such little time, you were naturally reluctant to enter a marriage where there is no divorce. There are three parts to the celestial marriage, you had already, through ignorance, performed the first part with the demon prince. By performing all three parts with me it would break his binding and bind you fully to me. When the third part of the binding was performed our souls became intertwined. There is no undoing that. When you were terrified I could feel your terror, but had no idea where you were.

"I felt when you were hit by the car," Clara had informed them what the news report had said about the accident. They knew why she ran in front of the car was because of the demon tainted that she had seen.

"Why?"

"After we were married, which almost didn't happen, but I'll explain that later. Malia, the human servant I had when I found you, she had earned the chance to become a vampire. She woke up the day after we were married. 

"Vampires gain abilities and powers as they grow older. The younger a vampire gains abilities the stronger they generally become. Malia woke with two and didn't tell me." Jeffrey has to stop he's so angry at this point.

"Why are you so angry, Jeffrey? I can feel your anger and it's making me nervous." Indeed Alana is moving slowly backwards away from Jeffrey and wondering what her chances of getting past him and escaping from the garden would be.

Jeffrey closes his eyes and does his best to calm his anger down. As his anger goes down Alana feels safer around Jeffrey once more.

Once he's calmed down he continues his explanation.  "All vampires are to tell their maker, upon awaking, if they have an ability. That's so the maker can help their child control and strengthen that ability. It is forbidden to use that ability against their maker unless the maker requests them to do so in order to help them with it. Malia, used both her abilities on me and turned me against you. Kept me from your side and spouted lies about you to me for nearly a week. 

"While she was doing that to me, she turned nearly all the servants here, against you. Getting them to go against my direct orders. Because of that, for about a week you were being bullied in your own home. I would hear nothing from any one about you, I would refuse to listen. I refused to listen to any message from you and so I wasn't being trained in my abilities I gained from marrying you."

"Wait a minute, how did you gain anything from marrying me?"

Jeffrey gives her a small smile, "You, my sweet, aren't a normal human. You are a supernatural human. The name other humans give you would be witch. Upon our marriage your powers or abilities were also released. Your grandmother, the last of the fully trained witches was training you and you tried to get me to the training as well, but I wouldn't listen to Michael's messages to me from you.

"Finally, Malia told me that you were bullying her and making life hell for her. That infuriated me to no end. Not after the other lies. In a fury I went to your room to confront you and instead found you crying and it was obvious that you had been doing so for some time. In that instant all my anger towards you was gone. You, Michael and then Chronos told me the truth of what was happening. Clara was less than pleased and with me by that point although she had been in favor of our marriage, very much so, when it happened. By then, she wanted to kill me slowly and extremely painfully.

"I had had security cameras installed. Only a few of us knew about them. You had put together a compilation of the bullying Malia had been giving you. You had never even talked to her and she went out of her way to make this place a living hell for you. By the time you left here, you wouldn't leave your room because of it. Michael had to cook your food and he's not a good cook. You lost all the weight you had been regaining because you had no appetite.

"You watched as I called the servants to task for what they did. You saw the downfall of Malia as I gave her into Chronos's care."

"Who is Chronos? You mentioned him before."

"Chronos is my oldest living child. By child I mean vampire child. For any further information about vampires we would need more time. I still have more to show you before you leave me. Please, come with me once more?" Jeffrey says and offers his hand to Alana and hopes that she accepts it.

Alana hesitantly takes his hand once more. Jeffrey takes her hand and turns it over and sets a key into her palm. "The key to the garden. The only other key is with the head gardener. They'll lock up if you don't."

Alana nods and looks at the ordinary looking key. There is nothing different from a house key and so she just shrugs and slips the key into her pants pocket before giving Jeffrey her hand again. 

Jeffrey, pleased by her giving him her hand, smiles and gently enfolds her hand in his before leading her out of the garden and into the house once more.

Alana looks around interestedly in the house as they pass through. Jeffrey goes slow enough so that she can look around without feeling like she's being rushed.

"What happened to the servants that broke your orders, Jeffrey?" Alana asks as they ascend the stairs to the second floor.

"That depended on how badly they broke them. Some were just given extra tasks to accomplish. Those that Chronos punished were further punished by me since I didn't feel like his punishment was harsh enough. Some of them were reprimanded by Chronos more than once and still continued to bully you. Those were severely punished."

By then they are at Jeffrey's room or Alana's room once she was brought there. Jeffrey opened the door and ushered her in. Once he shut the door he turned her to face him. "This world is far more harsh than the human world. Once they agree to work for me there are certain expectations I have of them. They agree, upon signing up with me, that they will fulfill my orders exactly. They were also told that if they broke those orders that they would have consequences. The more they broke my orders the more severe the consequences. They all agreed to that. Some of them, even after being reminded of those possible consequences continued to bully you and completely ignore my orders to follow Malia's orders.

"I made her watch as her friends that she had follow her orders were killed."

Jeffrey waits for Alana to condemn him for his actions towards his human servants.
