Toddlers ripped from the arms of their parents by Hugo Strange, forced to be experimented on, have grown up to develop powers.

But they're tired of following rules and being treated as lab rats. They want to be human. So they devise a plan to use their powers against the guards and win.

However, freedom comes at a cost. They have to rely on one another while on the dangerous streets of Gotham City, filled to the brim of cops and criminals. While some begin to confide in heroes and others in villains, they need to find a way to take down Strange once and for all.
