Okay, so this weekend seemed like it was gonna suck. I thought I wouldn't have time for anything fun, but I sure was wrong. Not only did I have the opportunity to force my parents to watch Newsies with me (and my father actually admitted he thought the music and dancing was good, which probably took a minor miracle), I got to see that guy I like.

So yesterday, after my mom and I had this luncheon thing to go to, we were planning on going to a mall to shop for the last few Christmas presents I needed for my friends. While I'm Snapchatting him, I find out that he's at the mall right then. So, being the little nuisance that I am, I send him a Snapchat joking that I'm gonna go to the American Girl Store and pretend that I'm ten years old again. Keep in mind that there are only six actual American Girl Stores in the U.S., and only one in my state.

He notices it and picks up on the hint, which is also a miracle. The last time I did something like this, when I was doing a campus visit at his school, it took him two hours to figure out any of the "clues" I had been sending him the entire day. So, he and his sister apparently started using my Snapchats to hunt me down. They went through the store following my random snaps, passing by the new male American Girl Doll (which, sidenote, I jokingly think stole my look. Short brown hair, plaid shirt over a graphic tee, jeans, and Converse. Literally my daily outfit) and all the other pieces I sent him.

Then, they tracked us down outside near the Barnes and Noble. Ugh, it was so nice to finally talk to him in person again. I forgot how much in common I had with his twin sister, and just catching up with the two of them for even five minutes was literally the highlight of my day.

Plus, I got inspiration for two stories, even if I didn't actually write anything. Finding Neverland is giving me an interesting AU idea for a new story, and I may or may not have an idea for the missing newsie name I needed for The World Will Know.
