#14's POV

After I slashed that alpha guy, I went into the forest hoping to get as far away from that pack as possible. It's been a few hours and my vision is starting to get blurry due to major blood loss. I try to go on even though I haven't recovered from today's torture and have arrows stuck in me but my body can't take it anymore and collapses. I look at my surroundings to see if there's any danger but all I see is a beautiful ash colored wolf.

"So....beautiful." I said before everything went dark.

Talón's POV

"Why haven't you dispatched the wolves to go search 14 yet?" Veronica said

"Because taking care of the alpha comes first. You saw what she did to him. She's a danger to him." Daniel said

"Whether she's dangerous or not shouldn't matter. She had injuries all over her body and arrows stuck in her. She would've collapsed somewhere in the forest. If you had sent out the trackers right after she ran, they could have followed the trail of blood and brought her here. Once she got here, we could've taken measures to ensure the safety of the pack." Ajax, I think that was his name, said. He'd make a good beta.

At this point in time I tried to open my eyes. When I did I was met with this bright light. I closed my eyes and tried again and saw the three of them looking at me as I sat up in the bed.

"Talón! You're awake! Thank the goddess!" Veronica said

"Yep. Though I wonder how my mate was able to wound me that much with that sword." I said as I looked towards Ajax.

"Well, the sword was made of silver." He said

"Silver? But the blade was black!"

"That's the thing. The organization that me and my sister come from hunt werewolves. Therefore, a majority of our weapons are made of silver. In my sister's case, her weapons are specially made. They're still made of silver, they just change it to black."

"Come on.. No more talk of that, we have more pressing matters. 14 is your mate?" Veronica asked

"Yep. But why do you call her 14? Doesn't she have a name?" I asked

"Experiments don't need names. We were just weapons used to hunt down the werewolves. I'm an exception since anya decided to name me. However, people do call her Tenebris, Mortem, Malo and Exitium."

"Isn't that Latin?"

"Yep. Darkness, Death, Evil and Destruction. Out of all the experiments, she was the best one. She was brutal, ruthless and merciless. She can handle any type of weapon that you can think of. Also, as you witnessed last night, she enjoys killing."

"Can I say something to you Talón?" Ajax asked

"Sure."

"No matter what I say, please don't get mad."

"I'll try. It depends on what you say."

"Ok. Don't you dare hurt my sister. She has been through enough shit in her life. I don't care if you're an alpha, hurt her and you'll feel my wrath." He said as his silver eyes turned blood red

"She's my mate. I would never hurt her. But thanks for the warning."

"Can we get back to the matter at hand? We need to find the girl." Daniel said

"It's probably too late now." Ajax said

"Why is it too late?"

"She probably covered her tracks by now. She knows exactly what to do in order to not get caught."

"But there has to be some way to find her. Can't you think of anything?" I pleaded

"Well, if we had her tracker then we could pinpoint her exact location. Father, what did you do with Luke's body after we took care of the alpha?"

"We left him there. What do you think?" Daniel said

"What!? Why!? He had the tracker! Send a wolf to go retrieve his body, now, before she goes back to destroy the controls."

"I don't understand. Why do we need his body?" I asked

"Remember what happened before my sister killed Luke? He reached into his pocket in order to get something. That something is what we are gonna use to track her."

"Ok." I said as I stood up. "Let's go." I said. But right after I said it, my vision started going fuzzy and I fell back onto the bed

"The sword cut you deep. You're going to have to rest for a month." Veronica said

"Must...find...mate." I said as darkness overtook my vision

The wolf's POV

Who is this human? Why did she say I was beautiful? It doesn't make sense. However, it also doesn't make sense that I feel some kind of connection to her. Oh well, I guess I should treat her wounds first.

So I start by taking the arrows out of her. Getting out the arrows in her shoulder was easy. But the ones in her arm and leg went completely through so I had to pin the limbs down while I pulled them out.

Next I have to clean her so I somehow managed to put her on my back. Once I was sure she wouldn't fall off, I slowly started walking towards the river. When we reached the river, I gently put her back on the ground, took off her bloodstained clothes and put her in water that was deep enough to clean her but shallow enough so that she wouldn't drown.

After she was clean, I dragged her out of the water and looked her over to see where her injuries were. I was surprised at what I saw. Scars covered her whole body. Some were new and some were old. Since she needed help, I quickly located the wounds and wrapped than with some leaves. Although, its very hard seeing as I have paws instead of hands.

When I finished, I put her on my back again and brought her to my cave. Once we were there, I made it to where her head was on my stomach and my body was curled around hers protectively.

We were like that for hours when she finally woke up. She looked up at me and started talking.

"Who are you?"

'I don't have a name.' I said

"Really? Me neither."

'Really? Wait. You can understand me?'

"Yep. Although, what I find weird is that I feel something with you. I feel good."

'Me too. I feel like I should stay by your side.'

"Can I name you since you don't have a name?"

'Sure. What do you want to name me?'

"Ash. I'll name you Ash."

'Why Ash?'

"Your fur is the beautiful color of the ash when a person's body burns."

'You really like my fur?'

"Yeah. Why wouldn't I?"

'My pack treated me badly because they thought that I was a bad omen. I couldn't take anymore so I ran away.'

"Well, I love your fur. It's beautiful and soft." She said as she fell asleep again. I just watched her thinking that I need to protect this girl.

'I will never leave your side. I will always be by your side. My Regina.

(1 month later) Talón's POV

"Ok alpha. It looks like you'll have a scar but other than that, you're good to go." The pack doctor Lyla said

"Ya hear that Jax? Now we can go and find my mate and she can live with us in the pack." I said

"Yep. While you were busy being an invalid, we found out where my sis is." He said

"Well what are we waiting for? Let's go now." I said as I dragged out of the pack hospital and outside.

'Hey Drake, are gonna come with us to find your future luna?' I mindlinked my third in command

'Sure. Just give me a few minutes and I'll be there.' He said

A few minutes later, Drake met up with us and we shifted. Jax had an obsidian black wolf, Drake had a walnut colored wolf and my wolf was black with creme colored streaks.

Together, we ran towards the facility that Jax came from. Once we mad it there, I let Jax lead us into the forest since he knows where she is. Right now, we're roaming the forest looking for any sign of her.

'So what is the future Luna like?' Drake asked

'She's a beautiful girl but also dangerous. After all, she is the one who put Talon in the hospital.' Jax said

'Shut up. How was I supposed to have known that she would attack me?'

'You have to take into consideration that we are different from you. Our parents were humans. We should have been born as humans but thanks to Luke, we were born with genetic alterations. So unlike werewolves, we can't feel the bond between mates. Please keep that in mind.'

When he finished talking, we saw an open field in front of us. In the field, we saw a pack of wolves attacking a gray wolf. Even though it was ten to one, he was holding his own. But he was already getting weaker due to his wounds.

'Guys, we should help him. At this rate, he's going to die.' Jax said

'Wait. Someone's coming.' I told them

After a few minutes, a person came out into the open. She was holding a familiar black katana.

'Sis!?' Jax said

'That's our future luna? Wow, she is hot. Like smoking hot.' Drake said

'Watch it. That's my mate you're talking about.'

'Dude chill. You know I don't swing that way.'

'Guys! Shut up and watch what's going on!' Jax said

So that's what we did. We sat and watched what happened.

Ash's POV

'Regina? What are you doing here?' I asked her as she stepped out of the forest

"What am I doing here? I'm here to get you. After I finished my hunt, I went back to the cave but you weren't there. So, who are these wolves?"

'They're my old pack. They came back to settle a score with me.'

"Really now. Then you wouldn't mind if I had some fun right?"

'Be my guest.'

With that said, I watched as she unsheathed her sword and cut them all down. It didn't even take five minutes. When she was done, she turned around and looked at me.

"Ash, that was no fun. They didn't last long."

'Well, they are just regular wolves. If course they'd be no match for you.'

"How long has it been since the last human wandered into our forest?"

'Its only been a week, Regina.'

"How many times do I have to tell you not to call me Regina? I'm not your queen."

'I know. But to me, you're like a queen. Plus, you never did give yourself a name.'

At this, she sat down on the ground and laid her he'd on my stomach.

"You're right. Then call me Tenebris. Tenebris Mortem."

'Doesn't that mean darkness and death?'

"Yep. It's a perfect fit since that's all my life is."

'Why don't you rest? It's been a long day for both you and me. Go to sleep.'

"Yeah. I guess you're right. Good night." She said as she fell asleep. I looked over into the forest and saw three werewolves. O looked straight at them and said 'You can come out now.'

When I said that, three guys came out of the forest. One looked a lot like Regina, another had dark brown hair and the leader had black hair.

'What do you want?' I said

"Calm down. We only want the girl." The Black haired guy said

'You can get her. Over my dead body!' I yelled at them.

"Wait. We mean no harm. She is my sister and that guy's mate." The not who looks like Regina said.

'Mates!?'
