Eddie Valiant looks back smiling and lets himself into the office. He sits down at his desk pouring himself a drink and looking at the newspaper.

Eddie: "It ain't my fault the rabbit got himself in trouble." He said sourly as he drinks the drink he made himself. "All I did was take a couple of lousy pictures..." He grumbled as he takes off his jacket he bends over the pictures of Acme and Jessica he took the night before and notices something in Acmes pocket magnified by the glass he put on top of it. Most of it is blurry, but he can make out one word: "Will." Opening a bag in a rush, he gets out his magnifying glass to get a closer look. In Marvin's pocket an envelope sticks out with the words 'Last Will and Testament' written on it. "The baby was right!" He exclaimed then pauses for contemplation. "The hell with it." He said as he stood up from his desk chair and crosses over the office to some drawers which he pulls to reveal a fold up bed. He gets in and rolls over to come face to face with Roger

Eddie & Roger: "AAAAAAAAGH!!!" Both the man and took rabbit exclaimed out in shock.They both leap out of bed and the bedspread flipped out like a cartoon

Eddie: "How the hell did you get in here?" He questioned Roger

Roger: "Through the mail slot. I thought it would be best if I waited inside, seeing's how I'm wanted for murder." He said fearfully especially for his life.

Eddie: "No kidding! Just talking to you could get me a rap for aiding and abetting." He said walking away from Roger before realizing something. "Wait a minute. Anybody know you're here?" He asked of Roger.

Roger: "Nobody. Not a soul. Except, uh…" He said as he trailed off thinking.

Eddie: "WHO?" He questioned Roger as toon began telling him.

Roger: "Well you see…" he said before leaping on to the bed. "I didn't know where your office was. So I asked the newsboy. He didn't know. So I asked the fireman, the greengrocer, the butcher, the baker, they didn't know! But the liquor store guy, he knew." He explained while his ears were twisting bout comedy like.

Eddie: "In other words, the whole damn town knows you're here!" He  exclaimed as he grabs Roger and tries to throw him out the door. "Come on! Get out of here! Get out! Get out of the door will ya! Get out! Take your hands off the door, will ya?"

Roger: "Hey! Hey, Eddie, take it easy will ya. Please, Eddie, don't throw me out. You're making a big mistake. I didn't kill anybody. I swear. This whole thing's a set up. A scam. A frame job! Ow! Eddie. I could never hurt anybody." As Eddie is stretching Roger out in his attempt to make Roger let go of the door frame. "Ow! My whole purpose in life is to maaake, peeeeopllllle, llllllllllllllaugh!" He exclaimed til his grip on the door frame finally breaks and the two of them fly backwards across the office. Valiant lands in a heap on the floor and Roger lands on the bed.

Meanwhile upstairs in the more large and classy offices: Y/n Valiant was in her warm wooden floored office space. Her office was filled of memorabilia of all success she had as a toon detective, a few signs pictures of her beside the town's she'd saved. Lounging on her long black leather chaise lounger was Jasper sleeping away from this whole stressful situation. While Y/n sat down at her hard oak desk on her lush black leather office chair. Y/n Valiant was looking through the photos of the scene of the crime underneath her own magnifying glass until the sudden screaming from below her feet.

Y/n: "Did that just come from pop's screaming out in his office below?" She thought before shaking her head as if to brush it off before looking at a photo of herself, Jasper, Roger, and Jessica at a first annual double date dinner in their favorite restaurant where Jasper took her on their first date. "Ugh, I must be out of my mind." She said to herself before heading down a floor and unlocking the door of Valiant, Valiant, and Valiant private eye office to step into the room only for her jaw to drop open in shock seeing Roger on her pop's old hideaway bed. "Roger…" She whispered before quickly stepping into the room/office and locked it back up tight.

Roger: "N/n, thank god it's you!" He cheered out before pulling the young woman into a hug while she hugged him back.

Y/n: "Oof, Roger easy there." She said before gently placing Roger back onto the bed. "Okay, first off I know you'd never hurt Marvin. It ain't in your nature." She said before smiling at the older rabbit toon til glaring up at her father. "

Roger: "O.K. O.K. sure, I admit it. I got a little steamed when you showed me those pictures of Jessica. So I ran down to the Ink and…" He said while Eddie dives at Roger, but merely sends Roger into the air and Eddie lands in a heap on the other side of the bed. "...Paint Club. But she wasn't in her dressing room so I wrote her a love letter." He said while Eddie and Y/n looked over at each other then back at Roger.

Eddie: "Wait a minute! Wait a minute. You're telling me, that in a fit of jealousy, you wrote your wife a love letter?" He asked of Roger while Y/n was taking down notes quickly.

Roger: "That's right! I know that she was just an innocent victim of circumstance." He explained while Y/n smiled up at him

Y/n: "I suppose you used the old lipstick on the mirror routine, huh, Rog?" She asked for more information about this frame up.

Roger: "Lipstick, yes. Mirror, no. I found a nice clean piece of paper." He said then he holds up the paper he wrote on and begins to read it to the two Valiants. "Dear Jessica. How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. One one thousand! Two one thousand! Three one thousand! Four one thous…" He recited the poem he had made.

Eddie: "Why didn't you just leave the letter there?" He questioned Roger.

Roger: "Obviously, a poem of this power and sensitivity must…" He said as Eddie grabs Roger by the ears and throws him out of his way. "Aaaaaaagh!... be read in person, so I went home to wait for her. But the weasels were there waiting for me, so.... So I ran." He said while looking at Y/n. "I tried going to Jasper's place as well but he wasn't home either." He said while Y/n rubbed his head to calm him down as she would Jasper.

Y/n: "Easy, Roger, easy. I was with Jasper last night at his place and right now, he's upstairs in my office resting up." She told him as Roger calmed down easily til a knock sounded on the office door. She motions her father and Roger to be quite til she saw a familiar shadow silhouette on the glass.

Jasper: "Y/n, baby bunny are you in there?" He asked while Y/n looked over at the two men, well man and toon rabbit then back at the door. "Open up the door or I'll just burrow underneath the crack under it." He said seriously before Y/n opened up the door quickly and pulled him into the office suddenly then locked the door back up tight while he saw his father beside Eddie. "Dad." He said before the two toon rabbits hugged each other making Y/n smile at the pair until her own father spoke up from his own desk.

Eddie: "So why come to me? I'm the guy that took the pictures of your wife!" He exclaimed towards Roger before seeing Y/n had pulled Jasper Rabbit into his office. "Great more toons." He mumbled til Y/n glared at him as Roger looks through a book containing newspaper cuttings of Valiant's, Valiant's, and Valiant's past cases.

Roger: "Yeah! And you're also the guy and gal that helped all these toons. Everybody knows when a toon's in trouble, there's only one place to go. Valiant, Valiant, and Valiant." He explained while Eddie sat down at his desk

Eddie: "Not anymore." He said as he fixes himself a new drink before he looks up to see Roger about to sit in a dusty chair, opposite of him. "Get out of that chair!!" He shouted out angrily as a fearful Roger slips his fingers off the chair, leaving marks in the dust. His shout even made Jasper and Y/n jump a bit at his sudden volume shift til Y/n saw where Roger was at. "That's my brother's chair." He said calmly now as he saw his daughter looking at the dusty reminder of her late uncle.

Roger: "Yeah! Where is your brother anyway?" He questioned as he is looking at picture. "He looks like a sensitive and... sober fellow." He said before Y/n looked away sadly while Jasper rubbed her shoulders comfortably.

Eddie: "That's it." He said as he picks up the phone. "I'm calling the cops." He told Roger

Roger: "Go ahead! Call the cops! I come here for help and what do you do? You turn me in. No, don't. Don't feel guilty about me." He said as he opens a door. "So long... and thanks for nothing." He said before he slams the door behind him sending a pile of papers on a nearby set of drawers crashing down.

Y/n: She holds back a laugh alongside Jasper at Roger's act. "What? You got to admit that was funny a little bit pops." She said towards her father whom shook his head at her.

Eddie: "That's the closet!" He shouted out before hanging up the phone. "Stupe." He said before he gets up from his desk, flips a light switch by the closet and opens the closet door only to see there is no one inside. Suddenly, Roger appears from inside one of Teddy's old jackets.

Roger: "Eddie Valiant! You're under arrest!" He shouted as he was acting like a gruff copper as he puts handcuffs onto Eddie's wrist and his own. "Plplplplplll!!" He babbled out making Y/n burst out in a quick laugh.

Eddie: "Get outta here!" He exclaimed as he throws Roger out of the closet and on to the bed. "Idiot. I got no keys for these cuffs." He stated as outside comes the sounds of car sirens

Roger: Huh?" He questioned before he heard the sirens outside along with Eddie, Y/n, and Jasper while his own whispers crinkled in fear as he began trembling.

Eddie: "Yaaaagh!" He shouted out as Roger shoots across to the other side of the room dragging Eddie with him and opens the blinds to look outside.

Y/n: She pulls Jasper towards the blinds and perks through the blinds near Roger to see the siren calling car was filled with Doom's hench weasels. "Weasels, I hate those crooks." She said while frowning as she watched them cross the street and entered the building. "Oh lord above…"

Smart Ass: "Come on! Get the lead out will ya! Move it would ya! Move it!"

Roger: "Yaaaaggghh! It's the Toon Patrol!" He exclaimed out in terror before he dives under the bed dragging Eddie with him but the bed folds up into the wall. "Hide me, Eddie and Y/n Plplplplease!" He shouted out as he now tries hiding in some drawers of Theodore's old desk thus making Eddie bang his head on the side while he pop's up from the top drawer. "Remember, you never saw me."

Eddie: "GET OUTTA THERE!!!" He shouted out angrily at Roger as he pulls out of the desk by his throat.

Roger: "Don't let em…" He said while Eddie places him on top of the old desk. "...find me! Come on, Eddie. You and Y/n are my only hope!" He exclaimed softly before a sudden knocking against the office door frosted up glass caught the two people and two toons attention.

Smart Ass: "Open up in the name of the law." He called out from the hallway as Y/n looked over at her father.

Y/n: "Dad, you know like I do, that there ain't no justice for toons anymore with Judge Doom in control." She said quietly before walking over and placed her hand onto her father's shoulder. "If the weasels get their clawed hands on Roger, he's as good as dipped." She explained while Eddie looked over at her while she was giving him a familiar look like from when she was a kid: puppy eyes. "Please, for me. You have to help Roger. I'll even help ya out." She said while the weasels knocked harder on the door.

Smart Ass: "Don't make us play rough, Valiant. We just want the rabbit." He said while Roger quitely asked Eddie what they all were going to do as the knocking kept ongoing harder then the last time.

Eddie: "What's all this "we" stuff? They just want the rabbit." He said jokingly til Y/n smacks him behind the head not finding the joke funny til both Valiants began a quick plan into motion, Eddie dragged Roger towards his kitchen area while Y/n pulled Jasper over towards her old offices lounge chaise.

Y/n: "Sorry bout the suddenness, Jazz." She whispered before she quickly unbuttoned a few of her blouses buttons to show a bit of her cleavage to her boyfriend whose red rabbit ears popped out of his head up into the air til only to form into a heart when she pulled him into a deep and loving kiss that made Jasper wrap his arms around her waist tightly.

Jasper: "Mmm~" He groaned deeply from his chest before looking at his girlfriend. "I'm not complaining here, baby bunny~" He whispered softly into her ear before placing her onto the chasie lounge chair, he loosen up his tie as he hovered over her. "Let's give 'em a show huh?" He whispered before the two began passionately kissing each other even as machine gun fire went off at the doorway of the office.
