Next Day, Lucy's Pov, 

I woke up in the morning with my head hurting slightly. My mind going on that Natsu kissed me last night. All I could remember was him kissing me out of no where. I felt my face start to burn up. W-why on earth did he kiss me? I soon heard knocking at my door as I got up walking over to open it. Standing there was Erza. "I'm here to check on you there was another fire murder last night and sadly they are heading toward Magnolia" Erza soon explained as I was a little shocked hearing. "I am fine Erza" I soon informed her as she nodded. I saw some worry in her eye.

"Stay safe tonight alright?" she spoke as I nodded. Erza then started to leave as I closed the door thinking. These murders are growing by the night. I headed to my closet getting my clothes before heading into the bathroom to take a shower. After that I soon saw Natsu sitting on my couch smirking at me. "So liked your gift last night?" he asked smirking as my face started to burn up. Natsu got up walking toward me. I moved backwards until I hit the wall. "What's with you all of a sudden?" I soon asked.

Natsu moved his head to the side of mine, his breath on my ear. "Maybe I'm taking what I like" Natsu whispered in my ear sending a small chill down my spine. He moved his head away as he put one of my hands next to my head on the wall while his other hand went on my waist. "N-Natsu" I whispered shocked as his head moved closer to mine. I was in pure shock right now as my heart was speeding up like crazy. "You two LIKKKKKEEEEEE each other" I soon heard Happy nearly yell as Natsu stopped moving toward me.

He turned his head to look at the flying blue cat that was floating over my bed. Mentally I was thanking him like crazy. "Had to destroy the moment" Natsu muttered coldly shocking me. He was upset? That wasn't like him. Happy laughed as he flew over. "Lwshe got any fish?" Happy soon asked as Natsu freed me from the wall heading back toward the couch. "I will cook you one right up" I replied getting Happy to do a cheer making me laugh slightly. I headed toward the kitchen area. 

"Want anything Natsu?" I asked turning my head to see him. "Of course" he only replied as I rolled my eyes slightly. Natsu was always hungry. I opened the fridge as I noticed Happy flew back outside. Wonder what he was up to. I moved to grab some of the fish I had brought just for Happy as two arms went around my waist, pulling me backwards slightly as my back was on a warm chest. I turned my head to see Natsu smirking right at me. My face was burning up once again. "What I want is you Heartfilla" Natsu soon whispered in my ear.

"I-I" I stuttered unsure of what to even say hearing that. Natsu grew a smirk on his face as I noticed his onyx eyes were darker than normal. "I-I gotta make Happy's fish or he will just annoy me to death" I soon spoke stutter again at first as Natsu notice as his smirk only grew. This teasing was worse than normal. "Fine" he spoke letting me go and walked off heading back to the couch. It was quiet then on afterwards as I cooked Happy a small plate of fish. Happy soon returned once I placed the plate on the table.

"THANKS LWSHE" Happy nearly shouted with joy as I smiled at him. He soon started eating as I then noticed Natsu was gone. "Natsu is acting different" Happy mumbled as I then remembered yesterday before I came home. "He has been through a lot he just needs time" I replied as soon after Happy finished eating we headed to the guild to see Natsu and Gray doing an fist fight. I sighed as Levy came flying toward me, hugging my arm. "LUCY I THINK I FOUND IT" Levy nearly shouted.

My eyes widen with excitement as Levy dragged me off to the downstairs library. "You really found her key?" I asked as Levy soon showed me an image of a temple. "It has to be it" Levy soon replied as the temple was known for a water spirit to re-spawn there every 1,000 years. "Thank you Levy" I hugged her as she hugged back. I soon headed back up to the guild as I walked over to Mira. "I will be going for a couple of days" I spoke giving her a wink. Mira clapped her hands excited. 

"Good luck Lucy" Mira nearly shouted as I headed toward the exit. I knew Erza and Gray were busy with this murder thing and most likely had Natsu helping them by now. I would just be a pain to ask for their help. As I was walking toward the train station as I was soon pulled into an ally way and pinned to the wall. My eyes widen as I saw it was Loke. "Shhh" he covered my mouth looking around as I was confused. "Lucy I need you to trust me and not trust Natsu" he soon spoke as I looked at him confused.

Soon what Happy said before played through my head. That how he was acting different. "Stay safe and stay far away from him for now" Loke whispered before he vanished back to the Celestail World. My mind started to worry as I got out the ally heading back to the train station. My pace got much faster. "I was faster than you getting here" I heard Natsu's voice as soon as I stepped into the station. I turned my head to see him standing there looking at me. "Natsu I am going on a solo mission" I crossed my arms.

"Not anymore, I'm coming with you" Natsu soon replied smirking as I couldn't think of anything to fight back. "Bu-" before I could finish Natsu pressed his lips on mine. I was dead shocked but before my body made me kiss back he pulled away. "I am coming along Lucy" he soon spoke as this didn't sound like Natsu but a part of me... A part of me liked it.
