Chapter 1
Chapter 1: The scroll
"Baka Boruto! We almost got caught!" Sarada yelled at her blonde haired teammate, Boruto Uzumaki.
Y/n, Sarada's twin sister, sighed.
Boruto had snuck inside the Hokage's office along with Sarada and Y/n and stole a secret scroll that was hidden away. They barely managed to escape due to Boruto making a ruckus. However, they were able to get away from getting caught.
They managed to run all the way towards an empty grassy field- usually where it's used for ninjas to train and practice. Today the area was clear. No one was around, giving Boruto and the girls time to rest.
"Do you know how much trouble we would've been in if we got caught?" Sarada scolded, folding her arms.
"Why'd you want that scroll anyway?" Y/n asked the blonde.
"Well..." Boruto pulled out the small scroll from being hidden inside his sweater. "A few days ago, I stumbled upon it while browsing through dad's office while waiting for a mission. When I opened it, there were some strange symbols inside. Thought I'd check it out." He explained.
"Well, that didn't mean to drag us with you." Y/n rolled her eyes as Sarada nodded with agreement. "But since we've gotten this far, open it. Let see."
Boruto sat down on the grass, untied the scroll and flat it down in front of him. He's then introduced to the same strange symbols he saw last time. Y/n and Sarada both sat down on each side of him to get a look at the scroll.
"These don't look like normal hand signs..." Sarada mumbled.
"I'm not able to read them...could these be some type of hidden message?" Y/n spoke.
As the three kids stare at the mysterious scroll, it starts to glow, alerting the genins however they don't flinch, they stare in awe and intrigued. Underneath the unreadable symbols, three handprints appeared. The glowing colors fainting away after. The handprints seemed to match Boruto's, Sarada's and Y/n's exact hand size.
"Woah..."
"Should we test it out?" Boruto asked, reaching his hand to touch the scroll but was immediately shut down by Y/n bonking him over the head.
"Absolutely not."
"Yeah, we don't know what this does. Who knows, what if we use it and we get hurt or worse? Whatever it is, I'm not risking it." Sarada interjected.
Boruto huffed in annoyance, rubbing his now aching head. Jeez, Y/n and Sarada are so lame. If Mitsuki was here, he would've gone along too. He sighed. The Uchiha sisters act like moms.
Even through it's annoying to him, they are right. Boruto's not dumb..but the temptation is ...intriguing.
"Oh come on, please!" Boruto turned towards the girls and stared at them with puppy eyes. Y/n was not convinced. Sarada on the other and...despite also having a frown on her face, Y/n noticed a faint blush on the older sister's face. "...I guess. But if something happens, it's your fault." Sarada gave in.
"What! Are you nuts? You're literally risking our safety here!" Y/n scowled. Sarada sighed, already regretting the idea.
"Yes!" Boruto yelled happily. Finally, he placed his left hand on the scroll. The scroll then began to glow. Even though Sarada and Y/n didn't put their hand on the scroll as well, the scroll still seemed to work. Suddenly, he arm started to get pulled in, catching the Uzumaki off guard.
"What- hey!" Alerted, Boruto tried to escape by trying to pull himself back. "Boruto!" The girls, immediately realizing the situation, also attempted to pull the boy away. Unfortunately, the force from the scroll was too strong and with no walls around to support their pulls, one by one, each of them were sucked in. Their yells faded as they disappear within the scroll. Couple seconds later, it went silent.
Most of Team 7 suddenly vanished. The scroll completely vanishing not too long after.
As you can see I'm re-writing everything so if you already saw this then skip
