  "Shahera!"
I tried to respond but, my voice was taken. I was in a world of shadows and darkness. I felt restrained and weak. Defiantly sore. What did the Kishin do? Run me through a mountain?
Sadly I opened my eyes and the situation was I was in the air, restrained off the ground by three feet. My wrists were tied by his bandages at the top of an old temple pillar. This temple seemed familiar. "He brought me here? Why? What could I possible have that he would want?" I muttered. I sigh and hung my head, focusing my soul perception to find his wavelength. His Kishin soul. It wasn't here. I sigh.
"Not much fun when the guards aren't present." I extended my wings and forced my iron blades out from my wing bones and I crunch them together above my head really hard to snap the bandages an the wood. After a loud landing I was free and in perception of being free.
"My that didn't take you very long." Said a voice as I'm slammed into a wall by bandages. Kishin.
I then fall to my hands and knees hearing him step closer to me. I then extend my wings outward and sprint towards him really fast. He doesn't even try to dodge my wings and yet I knew he must be thinking of something. I plant one foot and swing my right swing at him like a weapon strike and it sliced into his chest. The bandages leave his face as I breathed hard from the sudden pulse of energy required.
"You've gotten stronger haven't you? It's been ages hasn't it? Since your father had birthed you here." He said calmly and normal. No wicked and madding laugh. Just a normal and human approach to a question.
His hand then pushed my shoulder lightly to pull back my wing from his chest. Why was I letting him do this? He kidnapped me, probably threw me through a mountain on his way here or worse.
I push harder against him and dig my wing deeper into his chest. Our lips mere inches apart. He smiling as I quivered from lack of sleep, energy, etc.
He leaned into my ear and whispered. "Did you forget already, Shahera?"
I gasped and felt him smile behind my line of sight.
"Step back, and attract you wings behind your back. Close your eyes and wait for further orders."
I followed his order as I hated to do. I shook as I tried to fight the order but ended up doing as he said.
I heard him step closer to me. An then felt my braid coming undone. My hair falling in front of my cheek bones. The then ran both hands down my cheeks. Then he hugged me. I was so frightened yet I couldn't move.
"It is you Shahera." He whispered in my ear.
"What do you-?" I couldn't finish as he hugged me tighter.
"We were friends as kids, many centuries ago. Did Death order you to forget?" He asks as he pulled back looking into my eyes.
"Your eyes there a different color then what I remember. They were grey. Now there Blue. An your hairs gotten longer as well but that expected growing into a fine woman as yourself." His words grew maddening and more psychotic.
"Calm down, I'm fine aren't I." I say without thinking.
He stops panicking and his eyes were wide at me, shock present on his face. "Do you remember? Or are you trying to plan an escape route?"
"What do you think I'm trying to do? I have no idea what's going on here!" I somewhat yell.
"You seriously don't remember. What about that scar you got from that witch sword. Or the time we were kids and you fell from that tree. I had to carry you on my back so we could get home."
I suddenly felt a wave of heat come to my cheeks. I remember that. I just didn't remember faces.

"Asura! Look it's a bird, a blue bird. Blue is your favorite color isn't it?" I remember calling out to him.
"Careful Shahera." He called out back.
I remember placing my hand on a branch it snapped and I tumbled to the ground.
"Shahera! Are you okay?" Asura yelled.
"I'm fine. Ouch!" I remember trying to stand but my ankle hurt so much.
"Come on, I'll carry you home." He said helping me onto his back.
"Thank you Asy." I remember calling him.

After the memory I noticed I was holding my forearms. An something streamed down my face. "Asy, is that what I called you?" I asked.
"You did, before the war. When we were kids and on the battle field. When that witch had nearly killed me. You had healed me. Remember that?" He asks as he stepped closer to me.
"I," He brushed my bangs back. I flinched at his touch and yet he held my hand and set it against his heart. It was beating and I was sure that wasn't possible.
A flash of light and we were surrounded by fire.

"Asy! Asura!" I called out to him.
Blood coming from his heart and chest. I held my hand over it and held it in place.
"Shay?" He coughed up blood as well.
"Asy!" I focus and magic left my fingers. Healing him. An in that moment my red hair turned white, the blood leaving my locks.
"Shahera? I have something to tell you." He had muttered.
"No, you'll make it. Don't do this to me." I yelled at him tears in my eyes. I began coughing up smoke and grey saliva.
"Come closer." He had held one forearm. I lean in and he held my head and yanked me to his lips. He was kissing me. An I was kissing him back.

I shook as he calmly held my forearms. "How do I know it's true? How do I know?" I stuttered out.
He then held me in a hug. I felt the warmth, the truth and something else. I couldn't place it.
"Have you been alone all these years? Have you Shahera?" He asked in my ear. More tears streamed down my face as my arms didn't seem to be locked in place anymore. I held him back. He stroked my hair and hugged me tighter. I was crying. I was training to rid of my emotions and now it wasn't happening anytime soon.
"Will you stay with me? Will you be my friend again Shay?" He asks using the nickname he gave me.
"Yes."
