Volk POV

When I tried to pull Eau back into the cafeteria, I watchdd as Shelly grabbed a hold of Eau and chucked her with her beast strength. As I watched Eau fly through the air and into a tree, my inner beast clawed and searched for a way out. I heaved and puffed, charging outside after the girls. Shelly bursts into the giant wolf form she is and roared at the girls beside her. They hesitated before doing the same. I slam the lunch room shut and lift my sleeves, sprinting after the wolves. I notice Eau struggling to get up and limping towards the pond. The smell of her blood was a punch to my gut. I couldn't control it anymore.... The ripping pain that I used to feel was like a pinch as I burst. My clothes ripped around me as my teeth grew and my bones snapped and shifted.

I WILL KILL YOU ALL!!!

I roared into wolf senses and ran at 10x the speed I did before. The darker wolf turned to me and roared, charging and colliding into me. I reared up and snapped my jaws around her neck, flinging her to the side and into a tree, continuing to charge Shelly.

"VOLK!!!!" Eau screamed in pain and terror. An odd smell filled the air.. Shelly lunged towards Eau's curled up figure before a giant gray wolf slammed Shelly into the pond. It's eyes burned with the blood of its enemies as it stood right above Eau's body, and roaring at the brighter red wolf.

Leave!! This is not your territory nor the time to do this.

The strange wolf locked eyes with Me before snarling back at the wolf before her.

I will NOT hesitate to rip off your head. Go back to the school.

It warned again before Shelly crawled out of the pond, in her human form. She yelled something at the gray wolf and got up slowly. Suddenly the wolf that was in front of the gray one lunged at it. In one swift move of the gray wolf's paw, a sickening snap was heard and the red wolf collides to the ground. Slowly, it formed into one of Shelly's friends, I think her name was Carly. Shelly screamed and held her chest, tears springing from her eyes as I saw the life drain from Carly's eyes.

"YOU'RE A MONSTER!! GO BACK TO HELL!!!" Shelly screamed, cradling the dead body and I realized something. Shelly is a pack leader.. No longer being able to stand it, I charged the gray wolf. It snapped it's emotionless eyes at me and put a bloody paw on Eau's skull. If that thing could do that to Carly that quick.. He can squish Eau's head like a bug.

I stopped in my tracks.

Please don't hurt Eau.. She is innocent...

She knows about us!

Doesn't matter.. I.. She... She is important!!

Fine... Don't ever snap out like this. Either of you.

The wolf said one last thing before removing it's paw and sprinting into the woods. I immediately form into my human form and stumble/crawl/run to Eau. I touch her cheek and felt her blood rushing beneath my fingertips, knowing my heart can start beating again.

"I hate you.." Shelly sobbed.

"It's your fault!" I growled at her. "You attacked her."

"She walked all over my territory."

"I am not yours. I am Eau's."

"She is a human, Volk. She is in danger already for her being..."

"Shut up! I won't let nothing happen to her. And that includes you, I'm sorry about Carly but never touch Eau again or I'll kill Gabby in your face and soak in your pain. Got it?!"

Shelly started at me pure fear before nodding, continuing to sob over her dead companion. Slowly I get up, holding Eau bridal style, and sprint in wolf speed to her house. I stop mid way up her driveway as the blood hit me like a wave. My legs give out and I fall to the ground, bringing Eau with me.

After a few moments, I slowly get up bit notice it's not Eau's blood. I pick Eau up again and slowly approach the white two story house. The blood kept hitting me like a freight train, but I continued to walk. Eau starts to wake but I shush her and knock on he front door, only for it to slowly open. Her grandma always locks the door..

I slowly step inside and almost throw up at the utter horror in front me.

Eau's grandmother's body parts scattered across the room spelling out "Don't Mess With Me." The 'I' in 'with', her grandma's severed head.
