No matter what, I couldn't stop staring at him. The way his eyes wandered the outside scenery like a child in a candy store.. interested me. I was desperate to know who he is. It took me a few seconds before I realized I was reaching towards him and patting his shoulder with my fingers. He slowly broke his eye contact out the window and towards me.

"Yeah?" He asks as I was at a complete lose of words.

"Are you new go the district? I.. Don't think I've ever seen you here." Heat was climbing up my cheeks again.

"Yeah. My whole family are." He says in a deep voice that I hadn't even recognized. I slowly nodded, trying to sound interesting. To try and act all pretty, I ran a hand through my short hair and bit my bottom lip.
"Cool. Well I'm-"

"Hey gorgeous!" I was interrupted by Shelly. Shelly struts her way to back of the bus and sat her prissy-self next to the guy. Great... She claimed him her new territory..

Shelly is that girl with the perfect hair, the perfect smile, the perfect phone, the perfect grades, the perfect body, everything about Shelly Stuart is perfect! She even makes the Seniors jealous of how perfect she is. She flipped her curly bright hair as biting her bottom lip. That definitely could struck a guy's interest. But it didn't with him. Instead, he looked really uncomfortable. Almost... Like he thought she smelled like trash.

"Uh.. Hello?" He mumbles to her.

"Soooooo I heard you're new in town~ I could totally show you around the school. If you want.." Her fingers danced up his arm and onto his shoulder.

"No thanks.. Actually.." He motions to me, almost to try and get me to help him.

"E..Eau! I'm Eau.." I blush darkly as watching happiness flow through him.

"Eau.. was gonna show me around." His smile struck me in the heart with a spear.

"Eau..?" Shelly glanced at me for a second before bursting into laughter. "Her?! The wolf freak?! Oh my god!" She giggled before laying her head on his shoulder. "Wow.. You're funny.. And hot.." She giggled again and reached for his hair.

That was the last straw for him. He grabbed her wrist tight, but not enough to hurt her. He mumbled something as his eyes darkened.

"O-Okay.." Shelly jumps up and runs to her friends in the front. Glancing back at us once and a while. I made a face of disgust at the girls until someone grilled my wrist and yanked me to his seat.

"I don't think I don't want perfume covered girls sitting with me." He snickers and gently rubs my arm. Heat burst into my whole body as I nod quickly.

"Alright." I glanced back at Shelly to only see her eyes full of hatred and bitterness. Slowly, I laid my head on his shoulder and stared out the window with him.

"I'm Volk." He mumbles with a smile. Volk means wolf in Russian... Weird.. I glanced at his wolf tattoo, and unknowingly reached for it. Volk brushed my hand away. "Please don't, Eau."

Nodding, I pull out the book that was for the longest time criticized, Twilight: New Moon. I was so interested with the werewolves in it. Even though the whole vampire sparkling stuff was odd.. I still like the plot line. Volk hovered over my shoulder and read the book with me.

20 minutes later, the bus was pulling into the school parking lot--late as usual. I close the book and slip it into my book bag. The noise up roared in the bus as everyone was excited to get to school. Volk pushed, rudely, past me and towards the doors. I tried following behind him but Shelly shoved her way in between us and followed Volk like a desperate puppy. God damnit... I couldn't even get behind her because her squad pushed me into a seat and followed their leader. I'm sick and tired of them doing this crap.

I yank out my phone and earbuds, plugging them in and blasting Breath Of Life (music above) in my ears. I run out the bus, mumbling "See ya" to the bus driver and going down the steps. Time for hell...
