Volk POV still

I never in my life heard someone scream and sob so loud. Eau had waken up and screamed immediately. My arms were the only thing holding her back from picking up her grandma's head or running outside. Actually, outside would be a good idea right about now. I hold her in my grasp and walk outside, closing the door. Eau squirms away and falls in the dirt, pounding her fists against the ground as screaming.

"Damnit.." I heard her whimper.

Suddenly she whips her face towards the sky and screams as loud as she can, her nails digging into her neck. I stepped back Cautiously when leaves and rocks start to swirl around her in rapid, blurring speed.

I keep my distance until I smelled he famailar smell of my family.. Quickly I walk to Eau and sit down, hugging her and rocking us back and forth, making her pass out in seconds.

Volk.. Your mother is concerned for you...

I heard my pack leader-- or my dad-- call out from the trees. I glance over to see his giant wolf form, as well as my other pack members side by side with him.

I watched silently as my father and my older brother creep towards the house. Lea, the pack's so called "medic" walks over in her human form and looked at Eau for injuries, which she found. She started to pull my precious woman away from me but as soon as the she-wolf caught the look in my eyes she let go.

"Volk she can die. Lemme see her." Lea finally convinces me and I hand her he passed out Eau. The door of the house slams shut as my father, now in human form, stomps towards me. He leans in closely.

"It's them." My gut twisted as I felt the need to rip something apart. "They started with her grandma, now they're going for her.." He growled to me.

"Why the hell did you get involved with her?!" A sudden pissed off voice rips through the somewhat silence. Trevur. Or aka, the oldest warrior we have, sitting at 29. He storms over and shoved me to the ground.

I roll to the ground, dragging the dirt with me. When I jump up, my canines extend and my golden eyes glow in the darkening sky. Trevur stomps over and grabs the collar of my shirt, his eyes dangerous and pissed.

"I love her. That's why."

"You haven't even damn imprinted on her yet, dumbass!!"

"You listen here you dum-"

"ENOUGH!" My father snapped out. Lea flinched at his shout before continuing to care for Eau. "Trevur, if she was her true form she can kill us all in under a minute. I'm glad Volk got to her before they did, aren't you glad too?!" My father growled slightly.

Trevur's body slouches and yanks away from me, walking back into the forest. I dust off my shirt and walk towards Eau, stopping in my tracks as my dad gripped my shoulder.

"Remember Volk. You know what she is.."

Ignoring his warning, I lean down and curl a lose strand of her gorgeous brown hair around my finger. She went through so much pain today, with me being a complete douche, Shelly attacking her, and her grandma being murdered. I heard Lea say something to me in a worried voice, but I ignored her too.

Suddenly I felt strong hands grab my arms and try yanking me away. AGH! Someone threw me into the bushes, making my anger boil over and I charge to Eau.

I stopped in my tracks as I watched Eau's glowing red eyes.



Eau POV

I had waken up to be surrounded by redness. It was almost like blood has been poured in my eyes and soaked through and filled my eye sockets. I waited for a few seconds as the redness slowly faded to my normal eye site.

All I could remember is the blood boiling in my body as I felt a horrid pain. My eyes slowly drifted down my body looking for any marks and such, finding nothing but my body covered in dirt. Slowly searching my surroundings, I realize I'm in the woods, in front of my Grandma's house.

Then it hit me. I remember why I felt the need to kill.

"E..Eau?" Someone called for me and I saw a blurry figure reach for me. In my state, I whirled around, grabbing their arm and digging my nails as deep as they would go into their arm. I then used all my strength and threw them into the air, which I heard a few gasps.

The figure crashed into a tree, making it snap in half. More unrecognizable people, mostly boys and one girl, rush towards me or the figure. I parted my lips and let out the most aggressive sound I could.

I growled.

"Stop it Eau!" A familiar voice shouted. I snap my attention to a dirty Volk, covered with dirt and leafs. Oh shit. I grew Volk into that tree.. Whoops. "Hey.. Calm down.." He got closer, and I growled again.

"D..Dad.." A girl shakes and I glance at her, growling still.

"Lea I know.. Just.. Go home you guys.." A much older man growled at who I assume, his daughter. Volk gently put a hand on my shoulder, making me go stuff but quickly relaxing in his grip.

Three guys and a girl suddenly scurry to their feet and sprint away from my sight, but.. I coukd oddly smell them even when they were long gone.. The older man and Volk stayed.

Then the itching started.

My nails started clawing at my neck and arms, shuddering heavily every second. A small whimper came from my lips.

Next was the extreme dryness and my stomach roaring. I clawed at my neck, desperately staring at Volk.

"Father. We.. We need to help her, right now." I heard the worry in Volk's voice as he pulled both my hands into his. The older man stepped towards me and grabbed my arm, making me snap at him and kick him to the ground. I yanked away from Volk, falling onto my butt.

Letting out one more growl, I sprinted away, going anywhere but here.

Volk POV

My body burst into wolf form then i started to run after the changing woman, my father at my heels. When we were a few feet behind Eau, I heard my father rip into his wolf form. He let out a spine shivering roar, and charged her.

Eau noticed the change of the chase and grabbed a branch, swinging aroudn the tree and kicking my father night in the nose. He let out a loud yelp and rolled back. Luckily, Eau landed on my back and I bit her shirt slamming her roughly onto the ground. I rest my paw on her chest, lowering my teeth and snarling in her face.

∆I'm scared V-Volk.. My body hurts so much..∆

I felt her shaking beneath me, so I stepped off. My father trotted back over, blood dripping down his nose. Eau shakily crawls onto my back.

5 minutes later

My father insisted of bringing her to the glistening pool. I immediately threw her in. When I saw the steam of her burning skin, I felt like a murderer.

Eau's screams filled the night for what it seemed like hours-- but honestly it was only 10 minutes. Finally she stopped screaming and sunk into the water, motionless. My father sat and waited eagerly in the tree line, while I sat at the edge of the pool. My father seemed really uneasy, like he had a feeling of something is happening.

Right as I was about to dive in, a snout peeked out of water and took in a deep breath.
