It's Over (Edited)
I miss you more
than I miss the sun
Than I miss the ocean
Than I miss the beach
I miss you more
than words can tell
Than anything and everything
Above my Hell
You left me, you left me
You promised you'd stay
I miss your promises
When you kept them, anyway
I miss you, I miss you
Are you with someone else?
It seems you've disappeared
But I love you like I used to love myself
I've torn apart,
I've lost my heart,
I'm like a brick,
I'm just a prick,
I don't know,
Just where to go,
Come home to me,
Come home
So I won't be all a-lone, lone, lone, lone, lone
It's cold, cold, cold, cold, out here
I don't want to be a-lone, lone, l-l-lone
But I've lost my flow, flow, low, low
I take a deep breath, ripping my earbuds out brutally, and staring at the door I've come to familiarize myself with.
I knock loud and hard, confidently. Almost immediately, it opens. I see Ms. Gaia, looking the same, except without her warming smile she looks evil, villainous. She looks cold.
"I'm not here to see Leo." I explain immediately. Her brows furrow, and she frowns deeper, clearly confused.
"I'm here to speak with you."
She nods, looking me over. She moves from the doorway and let's me walk in. I move to the living room couch and sit.
"Why must you speak with me?" she asks, sitting across from me, crossing her legs and sitting back with hands folded.
"Leo has friends, family, here. After all he's been through, he deserves to keep in contact with us. I'm simply just requesting that you let us stay in contact." I state maturely.
She places her finger on her chin. "No."
I blink. "WHAT?!" I shout, startling her. "YOU WITCH!"
She stands, the same height as I. "I let you in my home, and now you need to leave. You've heard your last words from Leo Valdez." I felt like screaming, I felt like bursting into tears, I felt like punching the wall until my knuckles are unrepairable.
I fixed my shirt, and walked to the door. I opened, and paused. I love you, Leo. I exited, and made my way to the sidewalk outside.
It's over.
