Homeless? (Edited)
Nico's P.O.V.
"Leo?" I ask. We're walking in the park, though the sun isn't up yet. It's cold, so we wear jackets. No one is around, and it feels almost lonely; just how I like it.
"Yeah?" he replies, smiling and glancing at me every other step he takes.
"How long are you running away for? Do you have anywhere to go?" I ask seriously.
Leo stops walking and tugs my hand, pulling me closer, and he plucks my lips. He looks into my eyes in the warming way he does, and the moonlight reflects perfectly off of them. "I love you." he says.
He smiles, but I don't smile back. "You didn't answer my questions."
He kisses me again, and I close my eyes too. When our lips depart he pulls my hands up, and kisses one. I blush, but I don't look away. It's a confident blush. Yep, that's it, a confident blush. Don't question the way I love.
"Leo, I-"
"Shh. Don't ruin the moment." Leo whispers, cutting me off.
I nod, and close my eyes, leaning to rest my head on his shoulder. I yawn slightly, and he notices, but neither of us speak a word. We can't ruin this perfect moment.

When the day comes and wiped out the nighttime, I realize we stood together for a long, long time. I wouldn't have had it any other way, though.
"Leo?" I ask again, now that we sit on a bench together in the park and watch families laugh and play.
"Hmm?" he asks, still tired.
"Answer my question." I order.
He sighs, not looking at me, "I was just going to do what I always do."
"And what's that?"
"Find a place. Like a hotel. Or. . ."
"Or you're homeless. Leo, I can't let you be homeless! I'd rather be homeless. Maybe my parents will let you stay at my house, we have a spare room." I explain.
He leans over and falls, so he is laying in my lap. "I'd like that." Almost immediately after, I sense him sleeping.
I look down at him, and twirl his hair in my index finger. No one could guess his story just by looking at him. So special. I think. And mine.
He is mine.
