P.S. This is part 1 because otherwise it would've been way too long of a chapter lol
Also, sorry it took so long, and sorry if there characters are a little off. It's been a while. Hasn't it? Anyways I hope you like it at least a little.

Third Person P.O.V.

"Are you feeling better?" Leo asked Nico inside their hotel room while his parents are out on a "date."

"I get airsick, Valdez, not oxygen-sick." Nico replies sarcastically.

"I'm just making sure! Last night you were really-"

"One more word and I will kill you."

"-weak."

Nico jumps on Leo's back with a growl, and even though his kneecap is in Leo's side where it hurts, he's laughing and smiling.

"Even the King of Death wants to be close to me!"

Leo continues to laugh, while Nico blushes a little. He jumps down, and punches Leo's arm, sending him stepping back a few feet and whimpering/whining.

"Anyways," Nico started up. "Beach Day today, right? It'll be fun, I guess."

Leo nodded, sitting back down on the hotel bed. The two grinned at each other.

Time Skip

Nico and Leo had their fingers intertwined, grappling each other's. Leo smiled widely, and a small grin was playing at Nico's lips. Their feet brushed the sand beneath them, Nico cringed a little but Leo dug in with his toes. The sun was beaming strongly, proudly, and others were on the glorious beach, dancing in skirts, passing flowers, and straight-up having fun.

Nico and Leo lead each other to chairs, and lay back in the sun--well, Leo is in the sun, Nico is under an umbrella--their hands intertwined where the sun meets shadow. Nico closes his eyes, enjoying the air against his clothes and body. Neither of them bothered to change from shorts and tees.

"Leo?" Nico mumbled.

"Yeah?" Leo replied.

"Love you." he said. He needs to tell Leo that every day, because he really, really does love him. Really.

Nico didn't hear a reply for a few minutes. At first, he just assumed Leo was struggling for the words, but then he just didn't reply. Nico opened his eyes and looked over, just in time to be covered in a bucket of water.

"LEO!" Nico screamed. Nico stood shakily, freezing, and Leo had already turned around and started to run as fast as he could in the scorching sand.

Nico ran after him, a grin playing on his face. "You're so going down, Leo!" Nico screamed after him. He ran and ran.

"Ah, hey!" a girl complained in Nico's ears.

"Sorry, Mis- Piper. Piper?!" Nico froze in his tracks. That was . . . unexpected.

"Nico?! Oh my gosh, I definitely didn't expect to see you here! How are you?" Beyond the two, Leo stopped and looked back, watching the play unravel. He recognized the girl, but could hardly see who it was, her back turned to him. She looks like Piper, but he can't be sure--he hasn't seen her in years.

He decided to take his chances and walk up to Nico, hoping he'd forgive him to reunite with this so-called Piper. He smiled once he saw a glimpse of the girl's face.

A/N Sorry if it seemed a little rushed. Hope you enjoyed. Sorry it took so long. Another chapter coming a lot sooner, the book is almost over!!!!
