Jhope follows Miyeon to the rooftop. When they arrived, Miyeon is still backface him. A few awkward moments later, Miyeon turns to him.

"Wait! Jun is not my boyfriend. He was just fooling around that time."

"Oh?.... ok.." Jhope smiles a little. Even though that blonde guy is not Miyeon's boyfriend, he already misses his chance cuz she doesn't like him.

"Jhope.... I know u are a good person so... I will give it a try."

"What?" Jhope asks, a little confused.

"I know I don't like u like the way u like me but it's not wrong to try. Make me fall for u, Hoseok."

Jhope beams brightly, "Alright! I will make u fall for me that u miss me when I'm not around!"

Miyeon just laughs, relief that Jhope is happy again.

Suga just watch them silently behind the door of the rooftop. He look at Jhope darkly.

'Hoseok, if u make Miyeon hurt, I will kill u.' He declare silently.

Recess is already over by the time the two have rush down from the rooftop. Jhope walks Miyeon to her class. After this he has to go to his company for confirming something with them. So he wouldn't join the class.

"The class is about to start. So... see u later?" Jhope said shyly as they arrive in front of the class.

Miyeon nods as she smiles a little, totally shy too. She waves then walks ahead her class.

"Wait!"

Miyeon stops then turns back to Jhope.

"Can... can I have ur phone number?" Jhope asks as he rubs the back of his neck.

Miyeon smiles widely & give her number to Jhope. After that, she walks into her classroom. She receives a text from an unknown number.

Hey, it's me, Jhope :-). Meet me at the school gate after school tomorrow. We are going on a date!! \(^o^)/ Don't be late ~~

Miyeon giggles a little as she sees the text & save the number as 'Hoseokkie' in the phone contact. She can't wait for the date tomorrow.

It's been two years and V is still friends with the rebels. V becomes more distance with Min Joo. Now they are mere strangers. Min Joo is really sad that V still ignore her. V also becomes one of the most popular guy in the school so he gain many fans. He also known as the heartbreaker cuz he breaks girls' heart everyday.

The 15 year old girl is eating alone at the canteen when the person that she's been thinking the whole day approaches her. Min Joo blinks as she's confused cuz V always eat with the rebels.

"Hey, can I sit here?" V smile sweetly, making Min Joo blush.

Min Joo clears her throat before saying, "S-sure."

'Damn Ha Min Joo! Why are u stuttering?? U have to act all mad at him for abandoning u these years!!' She scolds herself inside her head.

At remembering her words, she send a glare of hatred at the sitting man in front of her. She continues to eat her lunch. She can feel eyes following her every moves. She shudders.

"Why are u watching me? Eat ur own food." She said to V sternly.

V grins sheepishly before starting to eat his own food. They finished their food in silence.

"So.... Min Joo-"

"Oh? U remember my name? I thought u don't cuz u are ignoring me FOR YEARS!" She press the last two words as she talks.

V gives her an apologetic look, "I'm sorry for ignoring u for years... I am too occupy with my new friends that I ignore u."

"Glad that u know ur mistake." She said, still eating her food.

"B-but... I also have another reason for avoiding u..."

"What is it?" She said before drinks her juice.

"I... I like u, Ha Min Joo... I thought our friendship will ends if I tell u about it. So I distance myself from u cuz I want to get rid of these feelings but it's been years now and I still have the same feelings for u. I decide to braven myself & confess to u. So Min Joo, do u want to be my girlfriend?"

Min Joo chokes her juice as she understands V's words. V rubs her back to help her.

"You... you what?!"

"I like u, Min Joo ah." V said sweetly.

Min Joo keeps open & close her mouth but there's no words that come out. She is speechless & truly surprise. Her own best friend likes her. The feeling is mutual....

"So... will u be my girlfriend?"

She nods eagerly while smiles & starts to daydreaming about their days after this. She didn't notice that V & Jiyoung are exchanging glances while Seunghoon laughs loudly, gaining some of the student's attention.

And yes... She falls for the trap.

It's been 2 months since the two are a thing. They are back to the life when they are best friends but more skinship. V will come to Min Joo's house everyday after school to spend more time with Min Joo or play with Kang Joon. The Ha family starts to accept V back into their lives.

One day, Min Joo gets a text from V to go home first cuz he has some matters to do. Min Joo shrugs & replies okay. She decides to take the shortcut way to her house. She passes through the old auditorium when she a familiar voice.

"When will u tell her that she is just a dare?" She recognise it as Jiyoung's voice.

"Later, please be patient. I need to get her fall for me so hard first then I will tell her." It's.. V....

"Man, it's getting boring now. U are lucky Seunghoon had to transfer school or u will face his wrath."

V laughs, "I know right. I'm very lucky that he's not here anymore."

"Make sure u humiliated Min Joo in the public. It's more fun like that."

"Of course. How can I not think of that?"

The two start to laugh hysterically. Min Joo can't believe what she had heard. She walks into the auditorium, startling the two boys.

"M-Min Joo... It's not what u think!"" V said nervously.

"If it's not then tell me what's the truth? Tell me something I dunno, Taehyung!" Min Joo shouts as she starts to cry.

Jiyoung just keep silent.

V tries to reach for her but she just backs away.

"Min Joo..."

"Don't touch me!!" Min Joo shouts.

V just look at her desperately.

"Listen, from now on, I don't want to see u anymore. Get out of my life! Don't ever come near me or my family! We are over! I hate u so much, Kim Taehyung! How could u do this to me! I thought u are sincere with ur feelings like me all these years.... Never thought I was wrong." She said before gets out of the place.

"Wait, Min Joo!" V tries to run after her but Jiyoung wouldn't let him.

V gives him a death glare, "She asks u to stay away from her, right? So don't chase after her. And why are u making that sad face? Do u already like her for real??" Jiyoung gasps.

V knows he will doom if he said the truth.

"No, I'm not!" He said sternly.

"Good. Now let's get out of here. It's suffocating in here."

V follows Jiyoung slowly, still wearing his heartbroken face.

Min Joo & Hye Ra are walking out of their class. It's the end of school that day. Min Joo is talking continuously while Hye Ra tries to ignore her. They then see V and Jiyoung together beside the lockers. Min Joo rushes to them, leaving the confused but relief Hye Ra behind.

"U promise me not to meet V!!" She shouts at Jiyoung.

The two boys are taken aback when they see the rage Min Joo.

"I just said that I won't met him that day only." Jiyoung smirks teasingly.

"Min Joo, u know Jiyoung hyung schools here & u don't even tell me?" V asks.

Min Joo ignores V & walks towards Jiyoung, "Get out of here! I don't want to see ur face anymore!!"

"Please, Min Joo. We just tricked u, that's all. It's not that bad, right?" Jiyoung said absent mindedly.

V just looks at the floor.

"U idiot! Because of u, Kang Joon died!!!"

"Who's Kang Joon?" Jiyoung asks.

"Kang Joon was... dead?..." V said, speechless.

"Yes, my little brother was dead! Now u know the reason why I can't forgive u, Kim Taehyung!!" Min Joo shouts all her heart.

The next day, a 15 year old Min Joo wakes up from her nap. She keeps on crying last night, the event earlier keeps on playing on her mind. She walks out of her room to go to the kitchen. Her parents are already there, having breakfast.

"Good morning, umma, appa!" She said cheerfully. She has to act like usual with other people cuz she don't want them to know she is hurt.

The teeth are smiling, but is the heart?

"Good morning, Min Joo sweetie. Do you mind to wake Kang Joon up?" Her mom said.

"Alrightey, umma!"

Min Joo goes to her 13 year old brother, Kang Joon's room.

"Kang Joon ah~~ wakey wakey. It's morning already!" Min Joo shakes her brother to wake him up.

Kang Joon is a light sleeper so he always awakes when Min Joo wakes her up. But this time... he didn't.

Min Joo starts to panic. She shakes her brother, hard.

"Yah! Wake up! Ha Kang Joon! This is not funny!"

Kang Joon still won't wake up. Min Joo starts to cry. She don't know what to do.

"Min Joo, what take u so long?" Her mother said as she approach her daughter that sit on the floor.

"Umma, Kang Joon won't wake up...." Min Joo said.

"What?!" Her mom immediately shakes her son but to no avail.

"Yeobo! Yeobo! Come here quick! Kang Joon is not waking up!" Mrs Ha said as she joins the crying Min Joo.

Mr Ha tries to shake his son but he still won't wake up. Mr Ha checks Kang Joon's pulse & breathing.

"He is still breathing. We need to go to the hospital now before it's too late!" Mr Ha said.

"Doctor, how's my son?" Mrs Ha asks as the doctor checks Kang Joon.

"I think he has some damage inside his body. U should bring him to the Seoul Hospital to CT scan him." The doctor said.

So Min Joo accompany the still unawake Kang Joon in the ambulance while their parents drive the car to Seoul.

Min Joo is sitting beside her brother. Her parents are out to grab some brunch. Kang Joon is wearing a mask to let him breath properly. He still wouldn't wake up.

"Min Joo, Kang Joon, we are back!" The parents said.

"Min Joo, I bought u some rice rolls so please eat it." Mr Ha said.

"I'm not hungry..." Min Joo said blankly.

"Min Joo, please.... U need to eat. I don't want u to be sick." Her mom said.

Min Joo sighs before grabs the rice roll.

"Any changes from Kang Joon??" Mr Ha asks.

Min Joo shakes her head sadly.

Then the doctor comes in, bringing Kang Joon's CT scan result.

"Doctor, how is he?" Mr Ha asks.

"It seems that there's a tumour in Kang Joon's brain. The tumour is large that it's too late to operate him. In other words, he can't be safe. I'm sorry..." The doctor said.

The family breaks down when they heard the sad news.

"H-how many years does he have left?" Min Joo asks.

"One week."

At that statement, Mrs Ha starts to wail & cries harder.

That evening, Min Joo's parents drive back to Daegu to fetch their things there for a week. At that time, Kang Joon awakes.

"Kang Joon, u are awake! Thank God!" Min Joo said as she hug her brother tightly.

"Noona.... why am I here?" Kang Joon asks softly. He looks so weak that Min Joo feels like she wants to cry again.

Min Joo seems hesitate to tell Kang Joon but in the end, she tells the true.

Kang Joon just smiles a little, "I knew it. I always know I'm sick. I always faint at school, sometimes I feel dizzy & now I can't feel my feet." He said casually.

"Pabo yah! Why don't u tell us?!" Min Joo scolds her brother as she feels her tears start to stream down her face.

"Cuz I don't want u guys to worry about me. I thought the sickness will gone but for 3 years, it remains."

"3 years?!?! Ha Kang Joon, u are so stupid!!"

"Ikr. So which hospital is this??"

"Seoul Hospital."

"S-Seoul.... We are in Seoul?!" Kang Joon looks at his sister in shock.

"Yep."

"Wow, I HAVE to go sightseeing at Seoul!" Kang Joon said excitedly.

"No, u are sick! Just stay here!"

"But noona.... there's no use for me to stay at the hospital. I can't be save. So please.... I want to walk around the Seoul. Think it as my death wish." Kang Joon begs.

Min Joo sighs in defeat, "Fine."

'As long as u are happy, Kang Joon ah....' she thinks.

The next day, Kang Joon is discharge from the hospital. The Ha family will stay with their closest family, Min Joo's & Kang Joon's auntie that is Mrs Ha's younger sister. Min Joo will accompany Kang Joon to sightseeing at Seoul with their cousin as the tour guide. First, they go to the Namsan Tower. Then, 63 building.

"It's more fun if Taehyung hyung is here." Kang Joon absent mindedly said.

Min Joo feels her heart breaks as Kang Joon mentions him. She just silent & smiles at her little brother.

The next day onwards, they visit many other interesting places like museums & COEX Mall. On D-3, Kang Joon starts to get weaker so he can't gets out of the house. He keeps on whining to see his favourite hyung, Taehyung. Now Min Joo's parents also pressure her to call V. But Min Joo always said that V is busy.

"Noona, please... I want to see Taehyung hyung for the last time!" Kang Joon whines.

"No, he's busy."

"Please, Min Joo noona, don't hyung misses his girlfriend? Don't u say hyung is ur boyfriend? Even his favourite dongsaeng??" Kang Joon starts to cry.

"Fine I'll try to call him. Gosh, for a guy that will die soon, u are so whiny!"

Kang Joon sticks out his tongue, "YOLO!"

That night, Min Joo tries to call V but to no avail.

'It seems like he changes his phone number. I guess he really doesn't love me...' She thinks.

On D-2, Kang Joon's condition is getting worse. He often gets painful headaches that he screams all day. If he's not screaming, he will sleep. The whole family are sad to see the Kang Joon suffered.

That night, Kang Joon almost died cuz his heartbeat stops for a minute. That is when Min Joo decides to fullfil Kang Joon's last wish, to see his Taehyung hyung.

The next morning, Min Joo & her older cousin, Taeyeon go to Daegu by Taeyeon's car. Min Joo tells her situation to Taeyeon cuz she trust her cousin. They arrive in front of V's house during noon.

She knocks the door but no one answers. They wait for V until evening. Min Joo is truly disappointed that V is not here. So they go back to Seoul empty handed. When they arrive at the house, Kang Joon is already gone. Min Joo didn't get to say goodbye to her late brother.

That was the time when Min Joo regret the most.

"What's going on here? Min Joo, I thought u are the only child?" Hye Ra said.

Min Joo seems flabbergasted that her secret is out.

"I... I'm sorry, Hye Ra... I lied to u guys."

Hye Ra calls the girls for a meeting at Min Joo's house. Min Joo tells them about her past to her close friends.

After Kang Joon's dead, Min Joo begs her parents to let her study here at Seoul. She wants to start a new life. She wants to forget her past. So for 2 years, she stays with her aunt. This year, she moves out & lives at her own apartment.

Then, she meets V again at school. Also Jiyoung. Things getting complicated cuz her past comes back to haunt her. Min Joo asks her friends how to deal with her problem.

"I think u should hear V's side story." Miyeon said.

"Yep, Min Joo unnie, u should give him a chance! No more sad events!" Jiyeon said as Sae Hee & Na Na cheers.

Min Joo looks at Hye Ra & Da Jung that are silent all the time.

"I think u should do that." Hye Ra said, earning a nod from Da Jung.

Min Joo sighs in defeat, "Okay..."

The next day, Min Joo confronts V. V is surprise to see Min Joo in front of his locker.

"Erm... hi?" He greets the girl awkwardly.

"Are u free after school?" Min Joo asks in serious tone.

"Y-yea.."

"Good, meet me at the cafe near our school after school." Min Joo said before she walks away.

The two are now sitting at the cafe after school. There is the awkward feeling around them.

Min Joo clears her throat, "So... can u tell me what happened 2 years ago?"

"I... The first thing is, I'm very sorry for hurting ur feelings. U are right. I am so blind for friends that I don't see which friends are good or bad. I didn't mean to do the dare but the rebels force me to do it or I will be bullied for the rest of my life. I lied when I said I want to crush ur heart or humiliate u in the public. I try to longens the dare to avoid the humiliation. I do all these cuz I love u. What I said when I confess to u was true, all of it. I really like u but I'm also too selfish to give up on my status as the popular guy. I'm so immature that time. I'm so sorry, Min Joo ah..."

"What about that time when I went to ur house but there's no one there?"

"When do u come to my house?" V asks, surprise with the information.

"After I knew everything."

"Oh... after u knew everything, I try to search for u at school the next day but u never come."

"Cuz I'm at Seoul, trying to find what's wrong with Kang Joon."

"I take Jiyoung hyung's words saying u really want me to stay out of ur life so I changed my number. Then... u know that I sent a video at BigHit Ent, right? The next day, I receive a letter from them saying I was accepted as a trainee & have to go to Seoul as fast as I can. So the next morning, I went to Seoul."

"So u have been in Seoul the whole time?!" Min Joo said in disbelief.

"Yep..." V said.

"Hmm... that explains everything.... Okay, I forgive u but I can't love u anymore."

"B-but, why??"

"U already broke my trust so I can't trust u anymore."

"Min Joo, please accept me again. Give me a second chance. I had changed. I'm not the old Taehyung anymore. I can't live without u by my side." V begs.

Min Joo sighs, "Why should I trust u?"

"Cuz I love u. So I'm willing to do everything to gain ur trust back."

V continues, "And... and I had visited Kang Joon's grave yesterday."

That statement makes Min Joo widen her eyes, "Prove it."

V brings Min Joo to the graveyard. Min Joo remembers this place. Of course she remembers cuz this is where her brother was burried.

"Hello again, Kang Joon ah. Today ur sister is with me." V said as Min Joo approaches him.

Min Joo's eyes starts to water when she sees her brother's grave.

"I'm really sorry that I didn't visit u since u passed away. I dunno u already leave this world. If ur sister didn't tell me yesterday, I won't know about u.... I.... I'm truly sorry for not seeing u before u are g-gone... I'm sorry for not being there for u when u suffer ur sickness. I'm sorry that... I'm too selfish that.... that I ruined ur sister's life." V is now crying river.

Min Joo looks at the crying V. She can feel the sincerity when V speaks. She smiles as she rubs V's shoulder, comforting him.

"It's okay, Taehyung ah. I know Kang Joon already forgives u for what u did. No need to feel guilty." Min Joo smiles assuringly at V.

V smiles back at her. After they finish visiting Kang Joon's grave, they walk home. V sometimes glance at Min Joo to see she's in deep thought.

"Min Joo, what is it?" He asks the silent girl.

"Oh? It's nothing..."

There is silence once again.

"V?"

"Hmm?"

"I've been thinking... I will accept u to be my boyfriend back."

"Really?!" V said clearly surprise & happy.

Min Joo nods, "If u don't friends with Jiyoung anymore."

"Okay!"

'Forgiveness is a funny thing, It warms the heart & cools the string.' Min Joo thinks as she looks at the over excited V.

Meanwhile, at the same time at school....

"Unnie, u won't walk home with me?" Da Jung as she pouts.

"Sorry Da Jung ah, I have something to do after school."

"But who will I walk with??"

"Don't worry, Miyeon noona. I will take Da Jung home. Enjoy ur date." Jungkook said as he winks at the now red Miyeon.

"What? U are going on a date? With who??" Da Jung asks.

"It's someone trustable, don't worry, baby. Now let's get u home." Jungkook said.

"But..." Before Da Jung can protests, Jungkook already drag her away.

Miyeon is waiting for Jhope at the front gate after school. Yesterday, Jhope had ask her out. She smiles when she remembers the cute text Jhope sent to her.

"Miyeon!" She hears a familiar voice calling her.

She sees Jhope running towards her.

"I'm sorry for making u wait. Someone of the members of my club is making ruckus earlier."

"It's okay. But are u okay? Do u get hurt cuz of the ruckus?" Miyeon said as she caressed Jhope's cheek that has some blood on it.

Jhope blushes at Miyeon's gesture, "I-I'm okay...."

Miyeon then heard a squeaking sound, "Do u hear that?"

"Hear what?" Jhope asks back, confused.

"Oh... nothing. Maybe just my imagination."

The couple didn't notice that the squeaking sound is there but it comes from Da Jung.

"Babe, I know u are excited but please stop squealing or they will found out about us." Jungkook said, sighing when his girlfriend just continuing on squealing.

"Did u see that? I dunno Miyeon unnie can be so bold. Gah! Look at Jhope! He's blushing! So so cute!!!" Da Jung said, clearly ignoring what Jungkook said earlier.

"What are u guys doing?" Jiyeon asks from their back, startling the two.

"Yah, Jiyeon u surprised me! Don't ever do that again!" Da Jung said.

"So what are u doing?" Jiyeon asks.

"We are following Jhope hyung & Miyeon noona on their date." Jungkook answers, with a sly smile. Never trust the maknaes.

"Want to join the fun?" Da Jung asks.

"Of course!" Jiyeon answers.

The three then stunned when they see Suga walking casually with a black hoodie.

"S-Suga hyung?! What are u doing here??" Jungkook asks.

"Shut ur mouth. They are moving now." Suga said.

"What?!" The three start to move along with Suga to follow the couple.

Miyeon is eating her cookies n cream ice cream when Jhope arrives with his own chocolate mint ice cream.

"Why are u so late?" Miyeon asks cuz she wants to start a conversation with Jhope.

"I was paying the ice creams."

"Wait my ice cream too??"

"Yep." Jhope smiles sweetly.

"U don't have to do that. I will pay u back."

"No need. That's how I treat my girlfriend."

Miyeon blushes at Jhope's words. She then heard the squeak again.

'Seriously, where did the sound come from??' She thinks as she looks around the shop.

"Miyeon, are u okay?" Jhope asks, concern cuz Miyeon looks around the shop.

"Its nothing." Miyeon said, showing her rare sincere smile.

Jhope almost had a heart attack when he sees the beautiful smile. They continue to eat after that.

Jhope tries to feed Miyeon, "Miyeon ah, do u want to taste my ice cream."

"It's okay, I just eat my own ice cream-"

"Say ah!~" Jhope interrupts.

Miyeon blushes & opens her mouth shyly. She still hear the squeaking but choose to ignore it.

"Is it good?" Jhope asks her.

She nods shyly.

"Do u want to try mine?" Miyeon said.

"Can I?"

"Of course!" Miyeon said.

The couple keeps on feeding each other.

Da Jung keeps on squealing while Jiyeon look at them, impress.

"Unnie never let me feed her. Woah, Hoseok oppa I respect u!" Jiyeon said.

Jungkook keeps on making effort to stop Da Jung from making more noise.

"Hey, where's Suga hyung?" Jungkook asks as he realised Suga is not with them.

"There." Jiyeon points at a lone guy eating his ice cream silently.

"Now I start to think back to reason Suga hyung is here." Jungkook facepalm.

After their little date, Jhope walks Miyeon home.

"Thanks for today, Jhope. It's really fun." Miyeon said shyly.

Jhope rubs the back of his neck, "Yeah, I had fun too."

"I... I'm so glad that I didn't reject u." Miyeon said, her cheeks are pink.

Miyeon turns to leave back Jhope grabs her arm, making her turns back towards him, "Lee Miyeon, u have no idea how much I like u, how much u make me smile, how much I live talking to u, or how much I'm glad that u are mine." Jhope hugs her.

Miyeon hugs him back, "Maybe one day, I feel the same way as u."

Jhope smiles, "Thank u, Miyeon..."

Miyeon just smiles back. She then broke the hug.

"I should go now. Thank u too." She kisses his cheek before runs into the house.

Jhope still stand there, stunned with Miyeon's action. He then smiles widely & walks home happily.

"We, they are soooo cute! I truly ship them!" Da Jung said.

Jungkook is still with her. Jiyeon is already gone home cuz she have to get home before her brother. Suga is nowhere to be found.

"Da Jung, don't u have to go in too?" Jungkook asks the excited girl.

"Oh yeah! I forgot! Oh no! Unnie is calling gotta go. Walk home safe, Kookie!" Da Jung said hurriedly & kiss Jungkook on the lips absent mindedly.

Jungkook is stunned by the girl's action.

"Our first real kiss.."

"Do u got the man that brought me to the orphanage?"

"Yes, I have 50 people in the list."

Miyeon sighs as she takes a look at the list Jun gives her.

"But there's something interesting with the list."

"What is it?" Miyeon asks, still reviewing the lists.

"Jung Hoon is in the list."

"U mean..."

"Yep, he's Jhope's abusive father."

The two walk to the jail where Jhope's father was arrested. Only one person can meet him at one time so Miyeon will talk to Mr Jung while Jun waits outside.

Miyeon is waiting for the police to bring Mr Jung in the room. When the police brings Mr Jung, Miyeon notices the big scar on his hand.

"Oh? Its u, the rude b*tch! What do u want after put me in jail??" Mr Jung said.

"Have u take a girl to the Happy Range orphanage 12 years ago?"

Mr Jung turns serious, "If yes so what?"

"Do u name the girl as Miyeon?"

"I...I .... yes... how did u know- wait! U are that little girl!" He start to point hysterically at Miyeon.

Miyeon looks at him weirdly. The guards suddenly take Mr Jung from the place.

"I'm sorry, Mr Jung is not in a stable emotion right now so I have to ask u to leave." One of the guards said.

"So.... do u think Jung Mihyun is like.... my mother??" Miyeon stare at Jun in horror.
