It was 8 am and we all over slept and we had to go for church service.

" Liam! Jenny! You guys should get up we have to go to church!!"

"Uggghh, why so early?" Liam groaned using one of the throw pillows to cover his ears.

"Jen! Jenny! wake up! Get your ass off the chair".. she smiled and stood up

we all walked like zombies upstairs
We took our bath and came downstairs to have breakfast before leaving for church which was by 9am.
After hurriedly drinking a bowl of frosted flakes we went outside.
As usual Jenny locked the door and joined Liam and I outside. We took a cab and headed to church.

Staying at home again would rather be boring so I decided to go to dake's place and my siblings decided to tag along.

We took a cab and headed to No. 15 main street, precisely where Dake lived.

"Jen, Who are you calling?" I asked trying to get a clear Look at her home screen..

"I'm calling Mum, we haven't really heard from her since yesterday"

"Grin! Grin! Grin! The line caught off and the operator said

("the number you are trying to call is out of coverage and is currently unavailable, thank you!") ....

she tried this six more times but to no avail.
"Oh Jenny, give it up, cant you see the number isn't going through?"Liam said

Jenny shrugged at his petty comment and tried the number one more time
Grin! Grin! at the third attempt at ringing we heard a voice message...

"Ermm kids"
(fast feet stomping )

"we noticed you have been calling us"...

"Mum?"
"What's wrong?"
Jenny called out!

"What is it Jen?" "Put it on speaker now"I said

Liam and I listened intently

"We are sorry we didn't tell you guys this earlier but we aren't who you think we are"....(gun shot sounds in the back ground)

"In the house find as much clues and evidence as you can and leave there within four hours, we loved you guys and we couldn't do what we were assigned to do.. we love you! Bye....sound trails off.....

"Turn this cab around!!! Take us to 17 old elm street now! Liam ordered"

I quickly called Dake and told him an emergency came up and we couldn't make it, he insisted on coming and so did Lina, Luke and Miriam, who were waiting for us at Dake's.

We were home in less than ten minutes and we jumped out of the cab and into the living room as fast as we all could...

"Ermm Jenny go to the study and look for anything suspicious!" I ordered not having the slightest clue what we were looking for

"Liam you take the Attic! Hurry!!"

They both rushed off because now the odds were against us... they both turned back in a quick rhythmic pattern and asked

"what are we meant to be looking for???!"

"like Mum said look for clues and any thing out of the ordinary! Now go".. I said

They went in their different directions and started the search
I also started the search but in my parents room....
I pulled out all the drawers and began ruffling through clothes and jewelries
Until I came across a box... written "DON'T OPEN" on the top of it. I ignored the warning ,like who ever reads those? trying as hard as I could to get the box open but it just wouldnt budge.

"Ugggghhh!!"  groaning in frustartion i heard the door bell go off.

I rushed down stairs, taking a break from the box cause frankly I was exhausted. I pipped through the eye hole and saw my friends..
I dragged the door open and they all starred at me

"You said something wasn't right at home and we quic......Dake was saying ....
and I cut him off

"No time to explain.. you guys should join me upstairs Now!"

We rushed upstairs and I led them into my parents room

"Luke please help me I must know whats in this box" he tried very hard and finally got the box open, all I saw were letters and the one they brought two days back was part of it.
My mind quickly trailed back to the way mum snatched the letter from my hand and how she cut me off when I wanted to ask about it!
Now I was given the permission.. well sort of? to read it !
