"I can't wait to see those fireworks." Emma said to the TDKs as they headed over to Central Park.

"I know. This'll be Mitch's first July 4th!" Kriss said, nudging Mitch.

"Why the first? He's 17 now." Summer asked.

"Long story." Kriss mumbles.

They saw other people crowding around the park lake as fireworks sparkled in the night canvas.

"We better run!" Dinna yelled as they sped towards the crowd. They began to spread blankets and sit down as more fireworks exploded like popcorn.

"They're very loud, that's for sure." Mitch reminded.

"Very." Emma yelled back.

The fireworks kept coming. They were about to do the grand finale.

"Guys, I might have forgot to put ice in here." Dylan mumbled accidentally.

"Are you KIDDING me?!" Summer screamed, taking away the attention to us. "That's the whole point of a cooler! Ya put ice in it to keep the drinks cooooool!! What's wrong with y-"

"Uh, Summer, go watch the fireworks and, uh, maybe STOP YELLING..." Emma growled.

"Uh, right." Summer giggled, facing the fireworks. The attention was quickly taken away.

While they were distracted, Emma use my ice powers to freeze the drinks to keep them cold. But she kept Dylan's in his hand normal, so there was no suspicion.

The fireworks went on and on and on and on. At the grand finale a whole flock of fireworks came for about a few minutes, then a giant red, white, and blue one almost stretched throughout the whole park. People clapped and cheered.

"That was awesome." Mitch smiled. "I can't wait for next year."

Summer laughed again. "Next year? Why watch ONE firework show when they are a ton others out there?"

"They are more?" Mitch smiled bigger, "Why, lets go." He quickly sped off easy as he heard more fireworks in the distant.

"Wait for us!" Dinna giggled as everyone else sped after him.

Since then, they watched about 3 more, then went to their homes. Their parents asked them how the firework shows went. They all said the same thing.

"Meh... it was alright."
