Jacob Black has always believed that imprinting was a curse forced upon him. So, when Alice Cullen mentioned that she had a vision of him meeting The One, he freaks out. He isn't ready to meet anyone, let alone a mysterious dirty blonde at a bonfire, a date of his friend Embry Call no less.

Other than gauge his eyes out, Jacob sees only one other option: wearing dark sunglasses and taping his eyes shut whenever she is around. 

Fawn Dubois has a few secrets of her own. She sees the world through bright eyes, and through ears that sound like she is trapped underwater. A recent graduate of high school, she is on the run, and she doesn't know what her plan is.

Then, at a bonfire, she spots a blind boy with a nervous disposition, and she decides to make a new friend.

I actually really like this plot. I'm super excited to maybe (but probably never) write it one day. It's pretty dark and grim, and it's full of twists and turns. Fawn is I think a really fun character of mine. She's going to be hard-headed, determined, quiet, adventure-seeking, and of course, traumatized. She's also hard-of-hearing, which I am really interested in writing. Hopefully, you love her and this plot as much as I do!
