Heyo! I thought I should update you all, since the last time I posted was years ago, when I said I was done writing on here, and that was obviously wrong. So, I stole the idea of a yearly plan from cryptidminds (it was so hard not to type astrovibess since that's been you forever in my mind).

Unlike them, I'm not going to go through all my drafts in detail, since I have all of them posted in here (with one exception, which I will explain here).'

GOALS

   | I am not going to start a new apply fic until I finish two of the ones that are already on my docket. This most likely means I am going to try to finish Defeatism and Perverse this year. I probably have 30 chapters left in each (my plans aren't quite finalized for them), so the goal is to update them both on alternating weeks. There are 52 weeks in a year, so give or take I'll do some extra updates.

   | Since I am going to finish Banality by the end of February (the book is already done, I'm just editing the last fifteen chapters and updating every three days), I am going to work on Banality's sequel. The title drop is Precedent which should give the people who have read Banality an idea of what is to come (NO SPOILERS). Precedent is shaking out to be about the same length (estimated 85 chapters give or take), and so I'm hoping to have that completed in 2024, although I did write all of Banality from July 2022-November 2022 (5 months), so maybe I will surprise myself.

  | Finally, I want to write at least one of the following two books: 

1. Clandestine, which I have drafted here. I'm done 13 chapters of that book, and I've fleshed it out substantially, so I'm feeling like it's going to be good when it's all said and done. If it shakes out the way I expect, it will probably be 50-60 chapters. I really like it, but it doesn't feel that urgent.

2. Accursed which I have only recently drafted. I'm just starting chapter 1, and if it shakes out like its predecessor, Lowborn, I expect it will be nearly 40 chapters. This feels more doable on a numbers game, and it is a sequel, but I am already deep into Clandestine so I am interested in that already.

PLANS

So, to accomplish these goals, I want to write around 350,000 words this year (HOLY SHIT). Banality is over 160K, and I wrote that in four months, so it doesn't seem that crazy. I'll do 50K in November alone, so that's 300K over 11 months, which is about 27Kish per month, which is like, 6,250 per week, which is insanely doable. Like, I've done twice that in a day when I'm dedicated.
