~Roses POV~

“She needs to rest Malfoy how bout you leave the girls bedside table for once, leave a note and I’ll tell her when she wakes up.” These where the words I heard as I was regaining consciousness. They were spoken by Madam Pomphrey. Thinking these simple things were the only things keeping me from fainting again. “No I will not leave until I know she will wake up and I know she won’t die after this long. Don’t try telling me she won’t die I know she could she had hypothermia, almost had her sole sucked out, had pneumonia, and has been in a coma for 3 weeks now.” This was spoken rather loudly by Scorpius Malfoy. I began to open my eyes at the words that had come out of his mouth. 3 weeks I had been in a coma. 3 weeks of missed school work. 3 weeks of worrying my friends, my family, and everyone around me. I slowly began to sit up and I saw a shock of white hair and felt to strong hands push me down again. “No rose you can’t get up yet I won’t let you. You need to rest.” This was spoken much more calmly than the sentence before. “No Scorpius please let me up I’ve been resting for the last 3 weeks I think I can get up now.” I knew not to stress out because this would only make him worry more. “Rose there is a difference between resting and being in a coma, I have to go to class stay here and when I get back we can head to dinner together. Just stay and miss one more class please.” He asks pleadingly. Having to give in I simply reply “Yes Scorp”. After he left I turned to the masses of candy, letters, and presents from everyone. I decided it would be good to catch up on the family stuff first so I turned to the letters from mum and dad.

Dear Rosie,

We have some big family news but I think I’ll leave that to the person the news is coming from to tell you. So now you have to read all the boring stuff first. Ronald our letter is not boring. Well rose if you would just ignore your father and let me explain stuff. I know you are probably stressing about your school work and since you have been out for so long your teachers are going to let you turn it in after the holidays. I know this seems like a long time but it is almost Halloween now so you’ll be back in about a month. You should just try to catch up on the work you have missed in the past few days so you will not be confused in class. Well your father wants to say some stuff so ill write more soon! Rosie I have heard that you were rescued by that Malfoy scum. I will not have my daughter dating a Malfoy it is downright out of the question. Other than what your mother has explained to you our family is doing fine Aunt Ginny and Uncle Harry are doing great! And Victoire got a job at the Ministry of Magic. Vic and Teddy just got back from their Honey Moon in Paris and are now living in a house on the countryside. Well we love and miss you and hope you feel better soon!!!Yup love you Rosie right back soon!!

That’s great and all but I wish they told me what the big news was and who it was from! I quickly read the short get well letters from my cousins and friends. Then I got to a rather long one from Vic and Ted that I was hopping all the news was in.

Dear Rose,

I hope you are feeling better and I have some big news but well have Teddy explain some stuff before we get to that. Hey Rosie well I really hope you are feeling better I know Vic already said that but we have all been really worried about you. We heard what happened right when we got back from Paris. And tried to write soon after. As you probably know already we have bought our own house and Vic has secured a writing job at the ministry of magic. Yes yes Teddy this is all very good but now can we get to the big news please! Of course. Rosie, Vic is… Pregnant!!! Your gonna have a new cousin!!!!!!!! Omg I’m so happy we told you before the other cousins. Write me when you have read this so I can write all the others and just try to keep it quiet.You may tell Lily though We love and miss you.

OMG “eeeeeeeek” I screamed not even worrying about Madam Pomphrey as she rushed over to me. “Whats wrong?” she asks frantically. “Nothing but may I please go wait for Scorpius he’ll be here any minute now?!” I ask still grinning with happiness. “Yes but check back in tomorrow.” “I will” I say getting up and walking towards the chair right outside the hospital wing. OMG I can’t believe it I’m so happy I’m getting another cousin. I sit still smiling with happiness and waiting for Scorp to come get me for dinner.
