Waking up to a shudder from cold, "Ughhh" I groaned in pain. I felt paralyzed. Laying on my stomach, I couldn't move my hands. After a couple of tries, I was able to turn over & lay on my back.

Realization hit me when I opened my eyes. I panicked when I remembered what happened last night & how I ended here. I tried to sit which I did. Taking in my surroundings, I WAS ASTONISHED. A frozen place. Everything covered with a thick blanket of white.

Clumps of wet flakes were drifting windlessly down, the air moist, this place was completely lit up but I couldn't see any Lights here. The sky was clear & blue. And there were blossomed trees! but how was it possible for trees to survive & bloom in a cold place? Maybe magic? I saw snowflakes dancing in perfect synchronization, thudding against the ground, some snowflakes in complete disharmony while others drifted about in winds.

THE SNOW WAS LITERALLY DOMINATING THIS PLACE!

This freak weather had got me shivering. It was cold here.

The air was brutally cold. I hugged myself because I was numb, I couldn't feel my limbs.

Rubbing my hands together, I tried to warm myself up but it was of no use. I tried to stand up but couldn't. I stood up but fell on my knees.

I heard someone say something in a foreign language & to my surprise when I looked up, I saw the mysterious guy Seth & a beautiful woman in her 40's. The woman said something like "resistentia à u fretu" due to which I became resistant to cold. I don't get it. I mean I knew what she said but I couldn't understand what & I don't know why.

When I looked closely, the woman looked exactly like my mom & a little bit like the guy Seth. She was beautiful. She had perfect long blonde hair with skin as fair as snow, lips as red as blood & eyes as blue as an ocean. Her magnificent dark blue dress clung to her body & she looked elegant in it. She was wearing a beautiful yet elegant crown on her head.

And about Seth, same blue eyes & same features. He looked exactly like the guy from my first dream when I had dreamt of a guy coming through a portal in the hallway. To mention, he's the guy I saw in Paris. His ocean blue eyes looked so much familiar. Just like the pair of ocean blue eyes I saw in my dream but couldn't work out his face.

They were standing with so many questions in their eyes .

I never knew having a dream about a portal would lead me to a situation where I'll end up being portaled to somewhere else.

Panic burned through my bones when I realized that I just came here through a portal .

"Who are you? & Why am I here?" I asked confused, again trying to stand up & thankfully I did.

"That's something we should ask! What the hell are you doing here?" Seth snapped at me. Arrogant, exactly like I expected of him.

He had the audacity to snap at me when he was at fault. He should've closed that portal. No one leaves a portal open.

"Dear, You just came here through a portal" The beautiful woman in front of me told me with so many questions & emotions running through her eyes. Her voice was angelic just like Mom's. I realized that it was her talking to Seth via that watch.

"But -- What is this place? & Why is everything covered with snow? I can't see anything here except for the snow yet this place is lit up as if there are lights everywhere" I asked looking around & confused & struck by the beauty of this place.

"My name is Isabelle Wolf & I'm the Queen of this place. You're not on Earth anymore. You're in Kingdom White : The Kingdom of Snow" The woman-- I mean Isabelle informed me. Wait what? Isabelle? Maybe she's not who I think she is. I made a mental note to ask her that later "And about the lights, you must've realized that everything's magic here. So.. This place is lit up because of magic" Isabelle said, putting an end to my endless thoughts.

"And I'm her son, Sebastian Wolf. The Crown Prince of this Kingdom" Arrogant, rude, obnoxious. Ughh, I already hate him.

"What? What do you mean 'I'm not on Earth' anymore? How's that possible?"

"Are you dumb? You're in Kingdom White, in my Kingdom! You were dumb to follow me into that portal" He said coarsely.

Why is he so rude? He's just like this place : Cold & Frosty. It's true that looks can be deceiving. He might be the Crown Prince or whatever but that doesn't give him the right to be rude towards a person. He's handsome, maybe he can be rude. Wait, what am I saying? I'm good looking too but that doesn't mean that I have to be rude towards someone who's lost.

"I want to go back. I can't be here. THIS IS CRAZY" I whisper yelled & started pacing in front of them.

"Oh, You're not going anywhere" He said bluntly "Who knows why you followed me here! What if you're a spy? I can't let you go like that" He inched closer & was about to grab me from my wrist when Isabelle called him.

"Sebastian! You can't"

He turned to look at his mother. Isabelle & Sebastian exchanged a few looks & Sebastian stepped back.
So.. His name's not Seth, it's Sebastian.

Isabelle came forward & held me by my wrist "I'm sorry for my son's rude behavior but we can't trust you as long as you don't tell us who you are & why did you follow him"

"I DID NOT FOLLOW HIM" I said looking straight into her eyes.

"Well, we'll see about that" She replied calmly.

She asked me to follow her which I did. I mean I didn't feel threatened by her. She took me to her palace. Her palace was absolutely stunning just like her appearance. The palace was blindingly white in colour, & stood there as if conjured from the storybook of a child. It was perfect. Every stone was even and square, as if those who built were set on perfection, as if they really loved what they made or maybe it was built with magic. They were walls made to protect a community, to echo with laughter and be the shelter they needed for the millennia to come.

Outside the palace, I noticed a place where some people were being trained & all of a sudden men & women in the training area I suppose, transformed into werewolves. I even saw Vampires, sticking their teeth out at each other. There was a lake on the right side of the palace, I was admiring it's beauty when all of a sudden some sirens came out sticking their tongues & making faces to scare me. Bitches. Some of the sirens were singing & god their voices were so heavenly that I could listen to them sing all night long, without getting tired.

I noticed that they had horses instead of cars. The stable was near the lake. Who'll drive cars in a place covered with snow. Well, I can be dumb sometimes.

I started trembling with fear. 'This place is so strange yet safe' I thought 'I wish mom was here. She would've explained everything to me'. Maybe she did, in that letter.

Even after reading her letter, I wasn't convinced by her words. Witches, Werewolves, Vampires, Sirens & other supernatural beings doesn't exist. I've always thought like that. I mean I would love it if they do exist but I had no idea that my imaginations would turn out to be real.

I realized that a few minutes ago I was shivering due to cold & now I wasn't. 'Must be the spell she casted on me'. I was almost immune to the cold because I was still in my Homecoming's dress.

"Mother, where have you been?" Came a voice from inside of the palace.

We stood in the main hall of the palace & a girl who looked the same age as my brother Alexander appeared. Her voice, pure & sweet just like her face & personality. She looked delicate & beautiful. She just said 'mother' to the queen standing right next to me. She's the Queen's daughter that's why her personality looked very much like her mother but their looks quite different.

So... She's the sister of Sebastian. She must be arrogant & obnoxious just like her brother.

"Mia, We went to see how the garden was doing since you've been busy with your studies" The Queen said.

"Mother, I asked Jason to take care of it until I'm done with my exams" Mia huffed & tilted her head to the side.

Jason? The name sounds familiar.

Soon her eyes landed on me & she looked at her mother with a questioning look.

"Who's she? She's beautiful" Mia complimented & her obnoxious brother scoffed. Douchebag. I tucked a loose strand of my hair behind my ear to keep it out of the way. I was blushing. Shit.

I wrapped my arms around me. I was a mess. My hair probably looked like a bird's nest & my dress, completely covered with dirt all because of my stupid little walk in the trees. I wanted to go home.

Even if magic exists, I didn't want to be a part of it. I wanted to go home. I miss Alex & Aunt Chelsea. They must be worried about me.

"Oh Hi!" Mia greeted & extended her hand out to me. I shook hands with her. On the contrary to her despicable brother, she was sweet.
Even his presence irks me.

"My name's Eloise, Eloise Richard" I introduced myself & I saw the Queen's head snapped at my direction from the corner of my eye. Maybe I was being delusional "& I came here because of an accident. If your brother hadn't let that portal open after he vanished, I wouldn't have been here" I clenched my jaw.

Part of me knew it was my fault too. But it was his fault as well. I mean who leaves a portal open after they've passed through it.

"Ahan. Someone's in bad mood" Mia teased.

"Why don't you say that you're one hell of a dumb girl who follow strangers around" Sebastian said with a smirk on his face. Ugghh. I wanted to wipe that stupid smirk off of his face.

"Admit it! It was your fault too. You left the portal open. I was curious so I wanted to take a look" I said frustrated with this conversation.

"Haven't you heard 'Curiosity killed the cat'?"

"'But satisfaction brought it back' I've heard that too" It was my turn to smirk now. His face fell instantly.

"Mother, I've to go now. I've got some work to do" Sebastian told his mother & left. Thank god he did.

"I apologize but I've to go now. You know how stressful exams can get" Mia said & looked at me with a sad look on her face. "I'll come around & will give you some company. & don't worry about my brother, you won't see him often" Mia said before she left.

Clasping her beautiful hands, the Queen motioned for someone to come here.

"Take Eloise to the quarter room for now & inform the guards to not let her out of that room until I say so" The Queen said to the person standing in front of her. "And inform the maids to take care of her"

"Yes, Your Majesty" The person said but the voice, it sounded familiar

I snapped my head towards the person's direction & I couldn't believe what my eyes just saw!!
