I was clutching onto my heart as it was hurting a lot. I guess it was Sebastian's effect on me. When he said those words, I was reminded of Mom's words and that was enough to make the Eloise I really am. The good thing is that I wasn't completely dark because if I were, it would've been difficult to bring me back.

"Enough of this drivel!" I snapped my head towards Luis who just spoke and I knew I was back to my old self. I could feel the emotions but when my eyes landed on Ruby, my expressions hardened. This is the only way I can do this! Finally getting a hold of myself, I managed to speak in an emotionless manner.

"Was that drastic enough for you?" I chuckled and swatted his hands away. I really hope he'll get it that I'm just playing along.

"Give it up, Sebastian Wolf. She's not coming back!"

"So he loves Eloise, now?" Ruby asked, gaining the attention.

"Yeah, well he kind of likes the girl!" Luis spoke from behind sarcastically.

"Oh my. So you chose everyone but not me. You really did deserve that curse. I wish she never would've lifted that off of you!"

"Shut up, Ruby!" I said, warningly.

"This isn't the time for you to discuss your love life!" I said calmly. Although I was burning inside. I want to rip her heart out.

"Okay, that settles it" I announced while I walked slowly and casually towards Jennie and Mia. Jennie was now conscious, gladly and I crouched down.

"Awww. Poor Jennie" I made a pout and winked at her. Since I had my back towards the others, I smiled at Mia and my expressions softened. Her eyes widened and I nodded slightly, not evident enough for someone else to notice. And she understood. She took out the dagger from under her skirt and handed it to me, secretively.

"Be careful, Eloise" Mia whispered lowly before giving it to me.

I nodded. I examined it carefully, this time. They must've stole it from Luis. Anyways, I stood up and hid the dagger with a cloaking spell.

"So only Ruby and I, we're going to drink the potion that I'll make. And you" I pointed towards Luis and continued "will stay young forever and will take over the kingdom since Sebastian is gonna die anyway" I said and the part where I mentioned Sebastian's death pierced my heart but I had to play along.

"Deal?" I asked them while walking up to Luis, casually.

"Have you nothing to say? Or does your silence mean that you've already made a decision?" I placed my hand on Luis's shoulder and moved closer towards him with a smirk on my face. Ew, I hated what I was doing but God I have to. Please forgive me, Sebastian.

"But you'll have to let the wolves and witches go" I said putting my terms in front of them.

"I'll set them free. No strings attached" Ruby grinned.

"But you'll have to give us the spell your mother created" I smiled when she said that.

"Over my dead body" I said before I plunged the dagger straight into Luis's chest and this time it worked as Luis started coughing blood, retching.

"I'll be damned. Eloise Richard screwed me" He let out before he collapsed to the ground.

"Corporis Impetus" Before Ruby could move, I froze her in her spot. Luis's body disintegrated. Yes, it worked.

And before doing anything else, I went over to Sebastian and hugged him.

"How are you always in the right place at right time?" I scrunched my brows at him. He chuckled in response. I was serious. He's always there when I need help.

"I don't know" He spoke but his face turned serious all of a sudden.

"How did you even find out about them?" He asked me, surprised and with seriousness on his face.

"Witches gonna witch!" I said proudly.

"My heart darkened because of black magic I used" I explained to him. And he shook his head at me, clearly mad at the fact that I, once again put my life in danger.

"I'm sorry if I said something that hurt you" I apologized for saying the things that I shouldn't have. He smiled and nodded.

"It's Alright"

"Let's just get this over with as fast as possible" Sebastian said.

"Works for me. I'm no more comfortable being here than you are" I said with my brows scrunched.

"I have to go now!" I said while I rushed towards behind the alter, there was a passage and I was disappointed to see nothing here. I am guessing, she must've cloaked it.

I looked around and as I was getting deeper into the passage, I tripped and was about to fall when my hand landed on the wall. As soon as my hand touched the wall, it eliminated a wave of light that nearly blinded me but fortunately, I closed my eyes. When I opened my eyes, a smile made it's way on my face. The door. I placed my hand on the door and started the incantation.

I could feel the ancestors reaching out to me, and finally with a gust of wind the door swung open. I felt a strong wind hitting me and I knew why.

"You've done a great job, Eloise" An ancestor spoke.

"Now it's our turn to kill that slut!" After that, everything went silent. I ran outside and saw Ruby swinging in air.

"You will never be happy, Eloise. You're the reason why everyone dies. You even killed Clarke. The accident, it happened because of you. You're a disgrace" Ruby kept shouting but her words weren't affecting me at all.

"Says the woman whose entire life has been about failing her coven and ancestors" I retaliated and she shut her mouth. But something else made me question her.

"What do you mean the accident was because of me?" I asked her not that it matters anymore. And also, it wasn't my fault that she died. It was all in my head that I thought It was my fault.

Now that I know she was Clarke so now I'm kind of wishing that I should've killed her myself. Only if I knew about her true identity.

"I was running after you and got hit by a truck" She explained.

"Well, then you deserved that!" I scoffed.

"There's no one coming to save you, Ruby. Save your breath. You're going into a grave you dug for yourself" I smirked.

"Now it's time for you to die, Ruby" The ancestors choked her and burned her body.

"You really did well, Eloise. You let us out. She was blocking us with black magic and now we're free. All thanks to you" The spirits whispered in my ear and I smiled.

I sighed and looked over to Isabelle who was healing Jennie.

"I'm glad it's all over now" I sighed and looked at everyone. When I realized that the wolves and witches and the sirens were still frozen in their spots, I laughed lightly. Now that Ruby is dead, they'll be free.

"Saeclum" I released them. All of them fell to the ground. And started laughing. Kirby and Samantha gave me a genuine smile.

I went over to Isabelle and smiled at her.

"You're the closest thing I have to a mother now, Isabelle" She kissed my forhead and hugged me.

And then I turned to Mia and Jennie. Jennie was fine now as she was sitting on the chair.

"Thank you for putting up with me today" I held Jennie and Mia's hand and thanked them and other sirens as well.

After that I went towards Madison and Jason.

"Thank god. Both of you are fine"

"All thanks to you" Kirby replied from behind.

"Got to give it to Eloise. Hell of a plan" Samantha shouted from behind.

"What plan?" Sebastian, Jason, Madison and Isabelle said in unison. All of us laughed.

"Well the plan was that Jennie will get inside the mind of Ruby and will get the information out of her head about the door that leads to the ancestors. Whereas I'll distract Ruby so that she won't sense that something's wrong. Meanwhile Luna will steal the real dagger from Luis. So after all of that happens, I'll plunge the dagger into Luis's chest and then I'll release the ancestors. They will will Ruby. End of the plan" I explained to all of them proudly.

"Oh and the darkness part, that was because I used the dark magic. By the way it proved to be advantageous, too" I chuckled and looked at Sebastian because he was the one to save me from darkness but soon I looked away when I felt him reading me and reaching out to my soul.

"Oh and the last thing, I have to put the artifact back to it's place" I looked at Isabelle because she was the only one who could help me now. She nodded.

And both of us made our way to the balance zone to place the artifact where it belonged.
